Sun terrace directly on the LL trail. The finest wafers in a variety of flavors: Chocolate, poppy seeds, various fruit tarts, Linzertorte. But also delicious homemade jams and various breads, regional cheese, various sausages, dry meat... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nice place. Class instead of mass among the guests. You will be provided with Valais specialties and fine soups. The cakes are also delicious. The somewhat strenuous climb is definitely worth it. Off to Hungerberg.

Ifangstrasse 25Tucked away at the back of a small 'village' of hotels, the Alpenhof has a brilliant proprietor who really looks after his guests. Food and drink is excellent and reasonably priced but it's the hotels location that really makes it special. 5 minutes away are Grimsel Pass and Furka Pass, both of which give access to Susten Pass. Are there three better roads anywhere in the world? Incredible scenery, Iconic locations and, if you like driving, an amazing experience.
