Very friendly staff and good selection of sweet pastries. I always like to come in the morning to buy something for a snack.

Super fine lumberjack bread, but already around 1700, from 4 stars down to 1.

I buy fine bread at Steiner-Beck. Occasionally I benefit from 50 percent discount on sandwiches or patisserie and other sweet pastries from 6 p.m. The service is always friendly.

Bad service again today. I will avoid Steiner Jona from now on.

At Steiner Beck everything is always top notch. The products are fresh and beautifully presented.

Basically a wide range of good quality products. Unfortunately the staff seems to be overwhelmed. Bought a few things for lunch and was asked if I wanted a bag, I said yes and was given a thin plastic bag. When I got home I noticed that I had been charged 2.50 francs for an organic bag. When I came by the next day and mentioned it, I wasn't taken seriously and didn't get the amount back. It's a shame, but as I said, maybe that's because the staff is overwhelmed.

Actually a nice restaurant but I was charged 6.40 chf for an Ovaltine, which only costs 3.00 chf, because they would apparently charge a different price if you consumed it in the restaurant itself. How a difference in added value from 2.5% (consuming away) to 7.7% (consuming in a restaurant) results in a price increase of 110% is a mystery to me. I would consider avoiding this restaurant accordingly. Such a surcharge is also prohibited under Swiss law, as a correct declaration of the price is mandatory and this is then also binding.

I ordered 4 pieces of cake online and picked them up. Initially the order was not found. Even though it said "Keller" on it, I was assured that it was my order. Unfortunately, the pieces of cake didn't taste fresh, but like they were 2-3 days old. We threw all 4 pieces into the bin. Very annoying considering the price paid. In business no apology, compensation. Never again Steiner...

Extremely unfriendly! I wasn't asked whether my menu was to eat in or take away. I paid and then asked if I could eat inside. The lady then told me, after I had already paid, that it would be a different price because I was being served. I told her I don't need any service, I'll take my menu to my table myself. Today you have to speak for yourself and others. Nobody is interested in being friendly and accommodating anymore. Sad, sad world

Small, comfortably furnished Steiner bakery near Jona train station. There is a good selection of delicious sweet pastries, cakes, as well as panini and sandwiches. The service is very friendly and quick and the prices are reasonable. Lunch is also offered there. The ideal place for a break in between.
