An unbeatable place where you can swim and have a drink to spend a great afternoon if it's hot.

The entrance is free. But the beach is very small. The entrance to the lake is not convenient. It seems to me that the entrance is even dangerous. It's easy to slip. The water in the lake on a hot summer day is simply icy! There are few people swimming. There is a diving board. She didn't seem trustworthy to me either. There is a small pool for children, the water in it is also very cold.

Great beach with a small and fine restaurant. Nice service. Sunbathing lawn was very clean. The lake is deep from the start, less suitable for small children, but there is a small children's paddling pool in the shade. Cloakroom, shower and toilet are available as well as a raft and a diving platform with a 1m diving board and 3 and 5 meter jumping off points. PP at Hünegg Castle, but it is better to arrive on foot, bike or public transport (bus 21 / 25 to Hilterfingen Post). And the nice thing is that entry is free.

All public swimming areas on the lake are super clean and free. It's really beautiful. And the beautiful turquoise water is a real bathing pleasure.

A small, nice beach with everything I need on a hot summer day. The lake is deep and therefore still refreshing even in midsummer and without duck fleas. ;-) The on-site restaurant does fine things and is well organized. Keep it up. Thank you for your commitment. By the way: entry is free. The best way to arrive is by bike or public transport (bus or boat from Thun)

It's very clean and has a great Italian restaurant. A pool for small children and a playground. Very pleasant, holiday atmosphere

Great free beach with good entry points even for those with physical disabilities! Clean grounds and lawn. Diving tower and raft. very fine ice cream! The only point deduction: compared to 5 years ago, the food and the selection have lost some of their appeal: ready-made potato salad, ready-made sauce, but there is also delicious Italian pasta. However, there are still opportunities to improve.

If you love Italian cuisine - then you definitely have to go to the Hünegg lido! This season, Vito Licari has taken over the small restaurant in the "Badi" and offers a "Chill & Grill" every Friday. The pasta with tomato sauce and seafood had a nice spiciness and was a hit.

We stopped for a visit after staying at Thun Citadel. We were with children aged 9,7,4 at the beginning of July on a hot day (about 30 degrees). The water in the lake is cold - very cold! They are quite deep (about 2 meters deep) right from the entrance. There is an expensive kiosk there, and next to it is a nice toddler pool where the water is also frozen. We really enjoyed ourselves, you just have to come with adjusted expectations.

Badi top...Beizli still has potential after another change... The Italian cuisine is great but the classic bathroom menus also have their charm...but the season has only just begun...

Very cozy and uncomplicated outdoor pool. But I think it would be cool if the “Beizli” were made a little nicer, otherwise it’s great.

Nice place to eat, the portions in the restaurant are relatively small but otherwise a great place.

We had a great portion of nachos and two very tasty burgers. We can only recommend the good food and friendly service. And it's wonderful to swim there in Lake Thun.

A really nice bathroom. But I really miss last year's restaurant. It's a shame that there was a change here. Update 2021: The old restaurant owners are back and the food and service are top notch again. We are looking forward to summer!

After last year's break, the old team is back behind the stove and counter ❤️. Homemade iced tea, great burgers, salads, light daily menus, farm ice cream, Thuner-Bügu beer (from Locher) and much more are offered here with a lot of passion. The grill-and-chill with salad buffet that takes place every Friday in high season is sensational. The atmosphere is very familiar, but you also feel very welcome as a foreigner!

We from the Thunersee Sailing School enjoyed Alex and Fabienne's sailing menu four times. Asparagus risotto. Ravioli, oven vegetables and penne 5-p. It was delicious. Top service. And that for 20 CHF. Highly recommended. No comparison to last year.

The small, fine seaside resort of Hünegg in Hilterfingen is a pretty bathing establishment on the northern shore of Lake Thun and, in addition to the bathing experience in the lake, offers a wonderful mountain panorama. Free entry and not just recommended for families!

The pool is still great but the pub has unfortunately been a flop this year. The food has been subpar since the tenant changed and if I want to eat Dutch snacks, I go to the IJsselmeer and not to Lake Thun. #PommesUsPulferGeitGarNid

Small but nice beach, unfortunately very crowded in midsummer. But completely ok for a little cooling down. Entry free. A “Grill & Chill” takes place regularly.

A great pool, small without unnecessary luxury. A small children's pool and the entire Lake Thun, what more could you want. Oh, I almost forgot about the diving board and of course the delicious fries at the very friendly bistro. Nice staff and pleasant other bathers.

The bathroom is small but nice... It has everything you need! The bathroom is very well maintained and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the standard dishes are not very imaginative and are rather average.
