Subway in Basel

13.03.2024 at night around 22.00pm, The staff did not care about customer service and only forcus into the Uber orders also not friendly and not listened carefully about the order menu. The worst and the most expensive sandwich that i have had today.

Good food, as long as it was prepared carefully. Staff friendly. Toilet broken. More suitable for taking with you as there is little space. Price can vary, cheapest sub is around 9.90 CHF. Recommend :)

The employee is very unfriendly! When I wanted to pay, bro asked me to do it faster because they were stressed (I only looked for my card for 5 seconds). When we asked if he could turn the sub into a menu, bro said yes and still charged everything as individual prices💀. Paid too much, bad service, never come back!

I really don't understand, ordered two days ago everything was perfect and delivered within 15 minutes, I was very pleased. Order exactly the same thing today (even in the afternoon when there are fewer orders) and what happens? An hour wait and instead of vegan meat substitute as ordered, real pullet meat arrives???? It's really a shame, I won't order again unless someone gives me an explanation.

The employee working the late shift on November 5th was friendly and professional, even though he was alone at the counter. As a vegan, he paid extra attention by asking if I wanted him to change the gloves he had previously used for non-vegan ingredients. I've never seen that at other Subway branches. My applause!

I recently ate a wrap with twice the portion of meat. The wrap itself was super delicious! Unfortunately it was rolled so that I had all the warm meat on one side and the cold salad on the other side. But I also have to say that it was done by a colleague who was just being trained. Still, it was super tasty and made with a lot of love 🙂 I’ll definitely be back!!

really rude staff.. If you don't know the ingredients by heart it means “you have to say everything at once”... and two of the employees smoke in the entrance area and all the smoke is in the store...I would do something immediately instead of leaving everything there.

When I asked for more olives, the supposed boss intervened and loudly chastised the newcomer by pointing to the list of ingredients, saying that there were definitely too many olives in it... when I then told him that I often easily had more olives than the current one When I received a crowd at other Subway restaurants he told me "You know what? That's where the exit is" the newbie kept his head and continued with the order. While I had to explain to my 7 year old daughter that the restaurant's profit margin was so low that we almost got thrown out because of a handful of olives and the resulting discussion.

Pepsi tastes like mineral water. The waitress was angry and wanted to charge me the menu for 20.- instead of 13.- Potatoes were cold immediately after being served, inedible. Not a good feeling when distorted.

Although the opening hours say until 11 p.m., we were denied consumption on site at 10 p.m. today (we both had a valid Covid certificate). The employee justified this by saying that he still had to clean. It's incomprehensible to me why you can't eat there an hour before, even though cleaning the tables takes a maximum of 15 minutes. If we had at least been informed of this beforehand, we could have eaten at another location. However, we were only told when paying. When we asked if we could still eat inside, we were rudely turned away. So we unexpectedly had to eat outside when it was 2 degrees. By the way, I've experienced the same thing before with the same employee. However, when someone else was there this never seemed to be a problem.

All 4 Subways in town are about the same but every location has problems. Here you don't get to have olive oil or vinegar as well as no dried oregano and often jalapeños are missing too. They do have cheddar on its own here (as opposed to the other locations) but it is quarter sized into tiny rectangles and in general cheese, meat & toppings are used very sparingly in all 4 locations except for lettuce of course. The only good Subway was @ Stücki but that's gone now. Used to be a regular customer but it's pretty obvious that there's a directive from the top to maximize returns by saving on ingredients.
