4 Stars for the location, but 0 for the rest: - Order and payment via internet, then self-service to collect the order => 0 user-friendliness - 20 minutes of waiting => Espresso served cold and cocktail tasteless because ice cubes were half melted. No need...

How relaxed the atmosphere is :-) Was only there to eat

I really like Sunset Baar, the food and drinks are great. What I don't think is entirely okay is the tip that is automatically deposited. You order with your cell phone and the default setting is that a small tip is given when ordering. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until relatively late, so I've often tipped (with every order) without knowing it.

Caribbean vibe with nice music by the lake , Pizza taste amazing it’s a good place to wind down with a glass of wine and or a keg of beer.

We paid CHF 18 for an old, too aqueous tomato salad in a take-away box that you probably bought in the supermarket the day before. The bar has no freshly tapped beer and the selection of soft drinks is also bleak. The disco pizza is very good and the view too, but there is everything else.

Nice location but very dirty, the pizza was burnt and the Italian salad came out of the plastic package with tomatoes in a floating broth and 4 small mozzarella balls and 1 leaf of basil and everything was totally overpriced. It's worth staying here for a while but you should bring a drink with you. ;-)

That's all well and good BUT if you want to eat a burnt pizza for 20.-?! Well plus unfriendly staff! Better have a drink and enjoy the view!

A beautiful lakeside bar well worth a visit. To relax with the most beautiful sunset in the city.

The location is stunning and Disco Pizza is fabulous. But the grill is a disaster. The actual menu is only about half the size online. The salads are prepared in (very small) plastic containers for take-away. And half of their food is listed as “old” on their menu!?!? I would highly recommend going to Disco Pizza but avoid the grill at all costs!

Sit by the water and enjoy the water activities. Order system works perfectly. You can pick up your drink within a few minutes. Very cozy and pleasantly busy.

The location is beautiful, at these prices serve would be much better. The pizza was still burnt, which was a shame.

Super nice view. Right on the water. Very friendly staff. Everything in the surrounding area was well maintained and clean. The pizza was very crispy, drinks were cold and the weather was nice. Location is good and there is enough parking space. There is even access to the water for swimmers. Thank you for the good time and we would be happy to come again.

The service is very friendly and the Pizza is delicious. The town is fantastic. While you enjoy chill out music you are outdoors enjoying the lake and the beautiful mountains of Luzerne. Highly recommended to spend an afternoon relaxing.

The drinks were completely ok. o., but pizza is a real disaster. Really burnt, almost no toppings and you can only order the whole overpriced disaster over the phone without any service. Never again…

You call them to reserve a table at the sunset bar. No one tells you it is only free sitting. When you get there you cannot order pizza because they have no more ingredients. Well done 👍 Nice view though :)

Great place to relax by the lake

Simply great at the lake. A very nice bar.

Restaurants don't take orders 95% of the time because they are overwhelmed (even if not all tables are occupied). I reloaded the website every 5 minutes for 90 minutes so as not to miss when the "short order break" was over. After I ordered my CHF 20 Margherita pizza, they stopped taking orders again. 70 minutes later the burnt pizza was already ready.

One star for the ambience - 4 stars for service/waiting time and automatic tip for "not very much". I'm now waiting 45 minutes for a pizza when the workload is manageable. It's a shame how things have developed here. There are other beautiful places too.

A fantastic place to sleep and enjoy the best views of Luzern. The staff was very friendly and especially Martin. We will return 👍☺️

I can place the order myself via an app, I can pick up the beer myself at the bar, I can also pour the beer myself and then they also want a tip!!!! The two stars are for the view.

Nice and relaxed setting at the lake and the disco pizza is really excellent. Can recommend it. We were here one time when it was very busy and the order system was blocked for food. After waiting for over 30 mins we just left as the online order system did not open yet. Beside that one time experience the other 4-5 times we were here everything was perfectly fine.

Awesome location, very romantic and extremely popular. We were lucky to get a table.

Unfortunately, they try to cheat a tip on the bill. Tipping is included in Switzerland.

The one man who worked at the Disco Pizza stand was really rude, that's not possible. I wanted to order a pizza and asked if they had prosciutto but he said "no, we don't" then I said "in that case you only have what's on the menu" and he said "yes of course only what we have on the menu." have” really cheeky and inappropriate I was polite the whole time. Then I wanted to order a pizza that was on the menu and then they ignored me the whole time and then I left. Really bad conditions, sorry

Cool, trendy self-service bar right on Lake Lucerne. Magnificent view of Mount Pilatus with an absolutely enchanting sunset atmosphere. If you like, you can also take a dip in the water here or dock a boat for a visit.

The ideal place for cozy hours for two or with friends.

Unfortunately not so great anymore. Great location, but weak offering (e.g. no decent rosé and white wines) and rather unfriendly service at the pizza stand (because I asked after 35 minutes). Orders are made online with immediate payment. Basically ok and works, but it's cheeky that the tip is already pre-filled, even though you have to get everything yourself at the counter. Afterwards we went to the Hermitage Beach Lounge, it was great there. Same prices but everything served.

We ordered a pizza because it's called the best pizza in town, I can only laugh, the pizza was small and had few toppings. Great for a drink, nice location but don't go there to eat. Pizza costs 26.00fr. And it's not good!

Atmosphere was lovely. Mainly self service by sms: they wont even help bring the drinks to the table for whatever sms glitch you might have. So your drinks just become watered down while you wait wondering what happened. Drinks are overpriced, and watered down. Pre game before coming. View and atmosphere is lovely

Outdoor bar with a large area right on the water. With a choice of food, pizza straight from the pizza oven or grilled food. Two bar areas, drinks at normal prices. Lots of sunny and shady seating options. Public toilets right next to it, parking spaces too, but unfortunately not very many.

Very very bad employees, very dirty, cheeky and left twice and no more pizzas!!! You could see the boss's nice dirty underpants.. very dirty.. he doesn't make pizzas at 8 p.m. anymore.. on the internet it says it's at 11 p.m. and they leave extra early and of course no pizzas as always.. open to what?? ? Never, never again like that!! Better to stand in a kebab!!! Thanks ..

Easy to get to, great views, great atmosphere

You can not pay cash, you can not pay with the card. Just with Twint and E-banking. If you do not have mobile, you can go home with empty stomach. Unbelievable. No compromise.

An absolute rip off. We were promised 5 pizzas in 20 minutes. After payment we were informed that the new waiting time is now 1 hour. Furthermore, you will be charged for a cola for 5 francs, which is absolutely outrageously filled into the glass from a 1.5 liter Pepsi pet bottle from Aldi. A NO GO!!!!!

The food is so mediocre, but the ambience is a dream! At sunset you have an incredible view of Mount Pilatus.

View and ambience very nice. Prices for an iced tea from a pet bottle with lots of ice cubes "practically an iced tea) for 5 Fr. Totally wrong. Amount of coffee no more than an espresso in a cup that is much too big. Tables have to be cleared and cleaned first by the new guest because the staff" "overwhelmed".

Something strange fell into my full glass from the tree, I wanted to get a new glass but I didn't have to pay for another one, very unfriendly staff!

The food became terrible this year, never had such an overburned pizza and such a weak Aperol spritz - especially not for this price… i hope the management will do something with the food and the drinks otherwise they will lose a lot of customers. Used to be our favorite spot as we live in the neighborhood, and it is sad to see such a low quality on the food and drinks…

According to Google open from 4:00 p.m We walked there for an extra hour only to see that it was completely closed. The sun was shining and while we stood there in horror, other people also arrived and unfortunately found that it was closed. It looked really nice like that but sorry there needs to be more information about whether it is on or not.

One of the most beautiful locations in Lucerne. You could get so much out of it for the ambience. But a total minus is the order breaks and the general order flow; you wait forever and lose customers who have been loyal for years.

May 28th (Sunday) - the website/Google says open from 12:00. In front of the entrance there was a sign “Open today from 4 p.m.” - when asked, it just said “That’s just how it was decided.” “Too few people by 12.” Ordering via the app is a good idea, but it takes forever even if the app shows “0 orders in front of you” (it’s much quicker to get in line directly). In addition, the app simply calculates a tip when paying by default, which must be actively removed. Describes itself as a beer garden, but has no draft beer. The clientele is also rather “chav-heavy”. But the location and view are great - you're happy to give 1 star for that :)

Total juice shop!!! The bars have had an order break for over 40 minutes!!!! Waiting times are very long...tables are cleared way too late and they aren't cleaned at all.

Cozy atmosphere. Parking spaces are rare or non-existent, it's best to come by public transport. Prices are a bit high but in the city average. If you can end a summer evening comfortably, it's easy to endure! ;)

A drink outside with a lake view, sunset and music? This is the perfect place for relaxation, there are drinks and pizza. There is a nice atmosphere, service is very nice. The prices are fair. I always enjoy coming here!

A very nice location by the lake. Pretty crowded in the evening. Self-service also via app, so it wouldn't be anything for my parents. We got up from our table three times to ask if our food was ready, you have to pick it up yourself, which I found very tedious. Personally, I found it too expensive for 5 pizzas and 5 sparkling drinks over 160 Sfr. Well that’s Lucerne!!

Unique place right on the lake. Ideal for sitting together in the evening and having a drink. Ordering via the app (including drinks) and paying via Twint was unusual at first, but it worked perfectly. However, the catering area (just simple things like pizza and crispy snacks) still needs to be optimized organizationally.

The location is great and of course the concept thrives on that. So actually there isn't much of a concept, just music and something to eat. But really beautiful here at the lake. The ordering system via the app is also ok and works. However, it is not possible that the food stalls can simply go offline in the event of a large "rush" without specifying (even upon personal request) when you can then order food again. You then spend the time looking at your cell phone and trying to see if it works...not exactly a good thing, since to be honest there weren't that many people and you should actually have experience.

Good view. Chairs and tables are fought over, which dampens the mood somewhat. Pizza 20 francs, wine at least 48

Pizza and wine, absolutely recommended!

The location is sensational - no question about it. The concept of ordering via cell phone and self-collection is a matter of taste, it doesn't bother me. But if the staff behind the counter reacts in an unmotivated and inflexible manner, that doesn't create a particularly good atmosphere. The exception is the talkative “Italian”. The vegetarian burger was okay, but not a culinary discovery.

Great place to chill. You don't have to wait for the server to get your order, very straight forward, you can scan the QR code and order your food online. Either you pick it up yourself to our they serve it to you. ☺️ I'm not sure of the name of the pizza, but it was super! It was spicy and flavorful. The place also had a great lake view. You'll love it!

We've been coming here for years. It's a little less "cozy" than it used to be, but with a spot by the lake it's still beautiful on a summer evening with a sunset. Pleasant drinks and fine food. Definitely always a good choice….

The Sunset Bar is located in the middle of beautiful Lake Lucerne, you can go down a ladder into the water. The facility is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The lawn and terrace offer space for many people. We ordered the food and drinks on our cell phone, and as soon as the order is ready you get an SMS. As a result, I have to say, the service is lost, so a point is deducted. The pizza is delicious and we really enjoyed the fries with crispy fish. We enjoyed our stay.

The view is great and there are nice good drinks and decent fast food. The Pizza is delicious and baked in a wood stove and the french fries were good. Very good for a bar but not as good as your favourite italian. The ice cream was too expensive for what you get. Recommend to come on a day without clouds to see a beautiful sunset over the lake.
