The food is is pretty decent, had crepe pretty big and chocolaty Perfect for the ones who like nice and cozy places with an amazing view of the lake

From the lakeside, you have to go up a bit, but considering our experience yesterday, it was definitely worth the detour!! To whet your appetite you can even climb a little higher, to enjoy the view located just above. It's certainly steep, but there too, it's a magnificent panorama!! We found this place very cozy and warm. We had great pleasure in taking shelter for lunch with all this rain yesterday! The waitress was charming with our group of 3 adults 1 child. We were a little crowded on 2 small tables for lunch, but that's the game of a "tea room" intended for having a drink and not really "eating" a meal! The savory tarts, salad and brownies and teas were fine and exquisite. We recommend (for those who are lucky, there are even a few tables with a view of the lake and mountains!)

Very small but great coffee. Brunch was also great, we had a great brunch for a good price and also with a great view. We will be back :-)

Fantastic food (we tried the crepes and also had an amazing brunch there the following day) in the gorgeous old part of the town, away from the crowd by the lake. Totally worth it.

Great crepe selections. The coffee is basic but drinkable. Definitely get the croissant it’s the best I’ve had so far in Montreux. Their cookie isn’t so good though.

The place is great, the cuisine is charming and local. A bitter note remained however because one of the two waitresses was the opposite of pleasant: she spoke poorly, was unhelpful and gave the impression that she was being disturbed even when ordering. Beyond that the place is cute, but maybe think about updating the menus with the right prices. Very affordable prices especially for Montreux.

We ate very well. Small dishes at a fair price and a beautiful view of Lake Geneva and old Montreux.

The best quiche I’ve ever had! It came with a delicious seasonal salad and beautiful views.

It's been my "love at first sight" since I was in Switzerland...and it will remain so forever! Super nice little tea room on the heights of Montreux with a magnificent view and exceptional cuisine. Everything is super good and homemade. The pastries are just incredible and the buckwheat pancakes delicious...can't wait to come back and have a good time at your place...see you soon!!

Food and beverages are very good in terms of quality vs. price and the views are indeed, impressive. Amazing place to work with your laptop. But what's best: the service. I would visit this place very frequently if I lived in Montreux.

What’s not to love? Adorable and authentic little cafe located along the hillside in Montreux. The food was absolutely delicious- we had the crepes and a salad, along with a cappuccino. Take a short walk around the corner from the cafe & you will have an amazing view of the town and Lake Geneva. Highly recommend visiting this quaint spot if you’re ever visiting the area.

Very nice, cute cafe. Two tables offer great lake views. Breakfast very tasty, homemade baked goods and freshly squeezed juice! A breakfast for three people with two extra croissants was enough for us.

Small French cafe on the uphill of Montreaux in the rich area. Had to get a bus to get there because the incline is tiring but that was not a problem. The kind man service was absolutely perfect, fast and polite. Very cute teapots and tasty tea. Fresh croissant. Very few tables and kind of small but the view was worth it. It was also the warmest cafe ! Will visit again sometime 💚

So tasty and very reasonably priced. Last time I came here on Sunday noon-ish, didn't get a table. This time got one! Yay and yum!

Good place to take a lunch, the steering is a bit slow but you have good diversity of local options, come with time, if you're intolerant to the lactose ask first the ingredients included in the dish. They also have a good of the city view inside the place.

Cool place in charming old Montreux. A few tables for two on the street and a charming seating area opposite. Breakfast and small meals. Rare but good: IPA as a non-alcoholic beer.

The savory pancakes are great! You get value for your money. The salad served with lunch was also a surprising taste bomb. The service is extremely friendly. A true discovery and recommended. Top address for lunch.

Super nice surprise! After the initial doubt of a card that seems without subtlety, we take the risk because the service is adorable. We won't try the galette, in true chauvinistic French style, but everything else on the menu (literally) is covered. No false notes, everything home, everything good with an exceptional view and service to match. For 20 francs per head, one of our best Swiss gastronomic experiences, all in simplicity.

Delicious pain au chocolat! Almond croissants and almond pain au chocolat are very popular. They had all already left when we arrived around 10am on a Sunday. Next time, we’ll come earlier to taste them 😉

Always a pleasure to go to the Baye tea room. The place, small and cozy, offers an incredible view of the city. We are happy there, the cocooning atmosphere in the Vielle-Ville des Planches is a gift, with friendly owners and of course, beautiful things to eat. In summer, a small terrace on the street completes this charming welcome.

Nice coffee with friendly staff and good breakfast (16 CHF). However, you cannot pay by card or only with difficulty and the staff do not wear protective masks (Covid-19).

We wanted to have breakfast here this morning but when we arrived it was closed even though it was supposed to be open today according to the opening times. Very disappointing. We then decided on Café Central on Rue des Alpes, which I can highly recommend.

On a beautiful Sunday morning around 10 a.m. we waited 45 minutes until we had the first drink for breakfast on the table. In terms of capacity, the beautiful little TeaRoom could not accommodate the guests in any way. We also believe that the prices are too high for what is on offer. Conclusion: If you visit the TeaRoom on a Sunday during the summer holidays, the experience will be a disappointment and a test of patience!!

A lovely spot with great views, you can sed alongside the road on one side, or there is a shaded onclave across the street. Inside it has a rectro oldtimer feel. I highly recommend their gruyere, ham, mushroom crepe & artisan icecream for dessert!

A highlight from our visit to Montreux. Possibly the best food we ate during the entire trip through Switzerland! The owners were so kind and accommodating, and their food was simply amazing. Do yourself a favor and go here! It is up on a hill, so there are also great views down to the lake from here.
