You are welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. The staff is friendly, smiling and warm. The service is efficient and professional. The dishes are artistically presented on a service adapted to each dish. The tables are arranged in such a way as to respect the privacy of the guests, even if a little noisy at times. However, we regretted not being able to congratulate the chef who unfortunately did not come to greet us at the end of the meal.

The appetizer was perfect; for the crab, the cake dries everything out and is superfluous; for the perfect egg, too much red onion coulis which unbalanced the dish; for the Simmenthal beef and the carrot variation, nothing to say, excellent. One of the only two negative points is the cheese: Sterchi platter fantastic as usual, but to limit 4 tiny pieces of cheese for CHF 20.00 is exaggerated. The dessert was OK although lacking a little pep. Delicious treats as usual. As for the wines, I found the Plan Robert different from the original in Duboux, too bad...; a great discovery of Merlö des Faverges; for white Dézaley, marsanne and ? in Duboux: a magnificent discovery. Impeccable service: always appreciated to remember the customer. Second negative point: the table of 10 people next to ours was deafening. We will be back and many thanks!

We tasted 2 summer menus, one with pike perch and the other with beef. The cuisine is fine, sophisticated and very accessible. The service is precise, friendly and discreet. The food and wine pairings, although almost exclusively composed of local wines, brought the additional dimension that one has the right to expect. Thank you, I recommend.

Really the best, excellent meal, it's a feast for the taste buds, the sauces are divine, you have to ask for more bread to finish them!!! Hello, 2 of us came with the “open tables” card. We therefore "in principle" benefited from a preferential rate for a food and wine pairing menu at 170.-/p. We still consulted the menu and the prices out of curiosity and with the aim of perhaps returning. The rating (3 stars) reflects the average experienced during our visit. The cuisine is generally good and rather well presented. Pigeon is not an easy meat and appreciated by everyone, be careful in a discovery/surprise menu (we did not like it). We are very mixed about the service. The wine (food and wine pairing) was almost compulsory. We pointed out our preferences and the wines we didn't like. However, the wines were not automatically tasted by the customer before serving the whole glass, too bad, a second choice of wine would be good. The bottle and glass of my aperitif (off the menu) remained on our table for almost the entire meal, it would have been nice to clear it more quickly). The bill was brought to us, without us asking for it, it was closing time (probably), several tables were still occupied. We reported (to the server) when we left that we were very mixed about the experience, but felt no desire for us to say more. To conclude, overall the restaurant is good, but we expected much better, for us the big problem is the quality/price ratio. Compared to similar establishments, the prices seem too high, more appropriate prices would leave a fairer and more pleasant feeling about the whole experience. Our bill was 380.- for 2 people.

A superb discovery in a lovely setting. A resolutely creative cuisine, you can feel the chef's work in each food, it's art! The view from the terrace is superb, the flavors are incredible, the service warm and attentive. A little more colorful decor inside would bring more warmth but in no way detract from the perfection of this place. We will return there for sure!

Not much to add. Very competent, attentive and accommodating service. Very good food, everything on the plate made sense. There was not just a presentation, the tastes were present, frankly. (Special mention for the pigeon as a starter, a delight.). If I had to bring out 1 “negative” point I would expect the same creativity on the dessert. It was more classic but perfect in terms of taste once again. Beautiful address to recommend! Well done!

Almost perfect. The setting is magnificent, first terrace of the year, the meal was light, delicate, tasty, etc... On the other hand, we had the good Qoqa, i.e. 5 glasses with our dishes, but the sommelier forgot us. No problem, we had more than enough to drink :-)

Yesterday evening was our first visit to the Là-Haut restaurant in Chardonne for a dinner with friends. We had an exceptional evening both in terms of food and service. Delicacy, research and taste discovery are there from the appetizer to the dessert. The wine and food pairing is perfect throughout the meal. A big thank you to the kitchen team and the entire dining team who allowed us to have a fabulous time! We will come back !

Good morning, We had a delicious time both in terms of the welcome and the service and the quality of the food. Elegant and refined place with breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and its eternal snow peaks, background music which perfectly creates the atmosphere and service which is attentive and personalized. Small downside regarding the light which should be dimmed a little around 9 p.m. The cooking and tenderness of the Simmental still lingers in my mouth and the mostly local wines......mhhhhh divine! Place where we really want to return, I highly recommend it.

The dishes were surprising in a good way. Unusual tastes as well as very relevant food and wine pairings made us have a great time. A favorite for the Barbue fillet and its pairing with an Alsatian wine “Cuvée Burg”. Really top notch service. Smiling and efficient. We will come back in the summer to enjoy the terrace.

What a culinary experience wow 😍 I know many very good restaurants, but Là Haut really stands out! It fully deserves stars in the guides! In addition to the magnificent view and the very friendly and professional service, each dish was an explosion of many flavors, and made with visual beauty! We had a complete vegetarian and pesco-vegetarian menu with food and wine pairing, everything was absolutely exquisite and very balanced. We will return with great pleasure.

We ate at lunchtime and chose the 5-course menu, including one with wine pairing. We are disappointed because three out of five dishes were not worthy of a gourmet. The féra smelled very strong and its accompaniment was not cooked, as was the vegetable which accompanied the hunt. We had to return the desserts because they were with black olives and that was too special. The wines offered in accordance with the menu were not good at all. The chef should let his team taste his original creations before putting them on the menu. We are very disappointed by this culinary experience, we who were looking forward to discovering this restaurant.

Very professional but above all they put us at ease, they are attentive, available and responsive, a big thank you to them. The cuisine is simply incredible, delicious both for our eyes and our taste buds. Bravo to the Chef, there are surprise menus and to recommend, really. We will return there for sure.

I went there for the second time with my partner, I really like this restaurant, first of all for their warm welcome when we enter this restaurant. For its service that fully met my expectations as well as their “Chef’s Surprise Menu” which bears its name perfectly!!! We are both allergic to quite a few products, many of which are local and here again they manage to surprise us with their listening and understanding of our allergies which we did not choose to have!! I have no comments or improvements to ask, because even the toilets are welcoming!! Well done and keep it up, we'll come back to test :)

Very friendly welcome. Everyone you meet has a smile. We were first seated inside as the weather was getting a little cool, then during the meal, we were offered a table outside... Sun and incredible view. The service was warm, no false notes. A little extra for the Burgundy grand cru offered during the meal. The food was delicious from start to finish. Today’s “to begin” was a perfect way to start the meal. I highly recommend! THANKS

MAGIC I discovered the world of Up there with a friend for my birthday. Gastronomy lovers and wine connoisseurs, we were amazed by each dish which was of incredible finesse and precision. From start to finish our taste buds worked hard to discover every salty and sweet touch hidden in this Surprise Menu. The wines offered are excellent and match the meal. The best gourmet restaurant in the region! and one of the best in Switzerland! Mathieu Bruno is an outstanding and passionate Chef, producing noble products, most of them local, worked with delicacy and inventiveness. The prices are not excessive for such a place and the service is very qualified and friendly. All this in a charming wine village.

Magnificent place, delicious meal and very reasonable prices. BUT we were very poorly received! By a person who asked us if we were sure we wanted to eat there because I quote: "it's a bit gastro here anyway" she insisted that we read the menu (and its prices) before going in! We almost came out but didn't regret staying, everything else was perfect.
