I would honestly avoid this place if you see a young angry looking guy as a server. I tried to walk into the restaurant to request a table and the guy rushes past me almost shoving me out of his way to get inside. He asks me if I want inside or outside and when I say outside he rudely tells me I’ll have to wait. So I say inside is fine and he doesn’t say anything for a bit before pointing at a nearby table acting annoyed and telling me I can take that one. I sit down and a polite girl gives me my menu and it’s a two page lamented piece of a paper that’s held together by a string with a selection that looks really low par. I bailed so fast after reading the other reviews for this place. This town is general has been a bad experience for me mainly because of the people that work in the restaurants in town.

Be careful French people if you expect to have a good raclette on the plate it will not be the case, this one is simply presented with a can of melted cheese on 2 or even 3 small potatoes, without exaggeration!

Bad service….suddenly you couldn’t understand German anymore when you complained…. Eat??? Spaghetti not cooked through… salad, well… waited over half an hour for food… really not recommended…

We were warned "20 minutes untill the kitchen will be opened", and we were agreed to wait. However, after 50 minutes we've notixed that EVERY ONE who arrived later were served food, except us - we had to leave. Trrrible servuce, absolutely not client oriented. Tourist trap. Ps: and coffee (the only thing we've got there) was terrible.

A typical Swiss restaurant, in a beautiful setting. Not too much of food options, especially vegetarians/vegans.

The restaurant is quite expensive. But the dishes are big and taste good.

Too bad, not great reception, the fondue is fine, the bread is terrible, no pepper for the mill, quantity and quality not good. The dirty wine glass, my God, it's really a shame!! For the dear Swiss it is not worthy of the country the worst it is a traditional dish

Bratwurst was delicious, fries were hot and crispy, and the portions were right for late lunch. The service was friendly. Almost skipped this place due to some of the reviews, but had a really enjoyable meal with a fantastic view.

Even one star is still too much of a good thing, spaghetti lukewarm out of a can and all for outrageous prices. Never again

The worst Swiss fondue I’ve ever eaten in Switzerland. And I’ve tried many. Awful service as well. Better look for another restaurant to have good Swiss fondue.

Typical tourist trap with terrible food. Gulash soup came from a can (kind of expected, still disappointing), the cordon-bleu was tiny and the cheese terrible and the worst was the spaghetti „bolognese“, which literally had not a single piece of meat. Tomato sauce out of a can over spaghetti, without any seasoning or taste. Avoid at all costs!

We had a very special welcome with a waitress who didn't even say hello to us and who looked aside when we asked her what we wanted. For a plate of fries, a coke and an ice tea, I don’t think it’s the most complicated thing! The waitress came back after 30 minutes of waiting with a beer and 3 glasses of water (there were 3 of us, I'll let you do the math) so she left and we waited another 10 minutes before leaving this place! So if you love waiting and being treated like dogs, this is the perfect place :)

The service is very friendly, the atmosphere is very nice, but the food is a culinary impudence. Certainly good for a drink in between, but not for eating.

In Germany we say “reudig” But service was nice. So if you want more than a drink you should go to another store. The selection of drinks was also rather poor. So maybe go straight to another store.

Not very nice. Fondue had a very funny taste and the goulash soup tasted like it came out of a can. . Fondue and goulash alone costs 45 francs, table water 500cl (out of a tap) costs 5.50 francs? Service was ok, hence the 2 star

Unfortunately it wasn't all that great there. The service was very nice, but a dry middle class burger with frozen ready Petty for almost 30€ the menu?? No thanks

Was sent away very rudely at 12:20 p.m.... "we won't open for 10 minutes" (even though the signage says otherwise). They have probably come to terms with the fact that each guest only comes once...

I think she’s the first one I’ve been sent away when I ask if there’s any room left. I was almost attacked when I asked if there was any room left. And yet there was room. I couldn't argue. I can understand that we are busy. But we respond politely. I imagine the rest...

AVOID at all costs - this place is a literal joke. The chef/owner should be ashamed. The food is exorbitantly expensive and disgusting. The 20 CHF salad is a tiny bit of lettuce, pickles and onion (the same one they use for raclette btw), one cherry tomato, and bottled dressing. The server was incredibly nice and attentive- the one positive.

Overpriced, charged 4 CHF for tab water, the Poulet salad I got was a joke - ingredients straight out of the can. Not fresh at all. And cost 20 CHF - don’t recommend.

Very nice waitresses but excessive prices: 120 FCH for 3.5 meals and 2 beers! No dessert because limited to 2 choices. Damage. Congruous portions for the price and very ordinary cuisine.

The food was tasty. Though they have a small menu, the food was tasty. Service was decent. And the best part is the view.

We stopped by Bell Restaurant for lunch today after a long hike. As a guest you are not welcomed and upon request When you ask the staff for a table, as a local guest in this restaurant you will be shouted at by the foreign staff and rejected with racist words. It may be that there is a lot of work and the terrace is full at the moment... But an answer with respect would have been the least! No star deserved!!!

We stopped by for lunch and ate an excellent Raclette. We enjoyed not only the food but also the service and friendliness of the young waitress. Much appreciated.

Nice enough staff but disappointing due to the small sad portions. The raclette in particular seemed to provide plenty of (presumably expensive) cheese with 4 tiny half potatoes.. needed a load of snacks to fill me up after I got home

A terrace with a smoking ban, food that has already been eaten and sanitary facilities in the modern style of a barracks. Not exactly recommended!

We were there on December 5. Being low season we were very calm and very well cared for. Fast, and excellent food. I had a beef stew, the meat of which was pure butter. Accompanied by candied shallots, crispy kale and mashed potatoes. The truth is that it is highly recommended.

My experience in this restaurant has once again been deleted, because the truth often hurts, I think I will inform ABE, or the hygiene department. The dishes in the photos do not correspond to reality at all, I think there must have been a change of ownership and they are using the photos of the previous owner, it goes from 5 stars more than a year ago to one today it's not worth any more I don't recommend this place at all.

The only ones to rate well are the local guides. No one to welcome you, not a polite word for the customers. We didn't even stay we ran away before we saw more. I recommend the flavors instead, the waitress is really nice

The small bratwurst with rösti cakes was a disaster for this price. People came and asked for clace and cake and the staff said You wouldn't have that, go to another place! Once and never again!

We went there for the cheese fondue, but the hostess recommended us the dishes on the menu. We chose the trout and the sirloin steak. In retrospect, a very good choice! The food was delicious!!

There were five of us here. Three of us ordered fondue. The waitress said it was 600g. That should be 600g for 75 chf. The portion was not enough even for two. The beef dish was supposed to be with truffle oil, but there was nothing that tasted like truffle. We ordered pickled cucumbers with the fondue, but we were given a plate of vegetables and told that it was free (because the waitress misunderstood). However, it was immediately taken away. The waitress didn't even ask if the person was finished with the food/drink. Just took it away with food. Unfriendly staff and dishonest place.

They took my unfinished drink when I ordered one in advance, foundue portion looks really small. Waitress doesn't speak German, misunderstood the order, said that what she brought by mistake is for free and took it away. And for God's sake people, don't come to a restaurant with wet dogs!

Small fondue portions. No fondue forks. Waitress insisted she gave us 600 grams for 3 people when it is clearly no more than 300/400 for 2 people. Waitress forgot items and sent the wrong ones. Said « don’t worry it’s free we wont’t charge you » and took the wrong items away without replacing with the correct ones 🤷🏻‍♂️oh and they took my friend’s beer away before it was finished... overall a disappointing experience

Disappointing for the price. The salad was out of the bag, decorated with a few berries and ready-made sauce. The gnocchi also came from the bag and was average at best. Unfortunately no recommendation.
