Never disappointed. Great food, friendly service and everyone goes home fu and satisfied.

We wanted to eat something and searched for the best Burger shop in Zurich. Went to the Nr.1 place(I will not mention the name), but was closed. So we decided to go with the 2. placed Burger shop, as it was only 10mins away. The district is not everyone’s choice. Once you are in the restaurant, you fell comfortable and welcomed with the friendly waiters. Tables are clean and good seperated. There is also a lovely terrace in the courtyard . Our choice was the Classic Burger with salad and the Bacon Burger with Fries. Homemade Beef, Sauce and fresh veggies. The Burgers were delicious and tasty. This place is marked for the next visit.

Burger is good but not the best.

food was ok service was very bad. We were chased out after 2 hours even though we hadn't even finished eating... the five of us spent around 250 fr. ate and drank.

A little too expensive but the food is nice

The service is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The food is not good. Everything is extremely salty, fries look overcooked or cooked twice.

Tight seats and very loud. The burgers average, the animal fries were not good, we do much better at home. We had to wait forever for our food until service came after about 40 minutes and said there had been a mixup in the kitchen and we should get our food soon. No excuse for the very long wait. That was probably The Bite.

We had a very quick service, despite the fact that we got warned that it might take a bit longer since they just got a bit overrun when we arrived. The burger was fantastic and the fries where nice and crunchy.

The food is great, even for vegetarians, very nice burgers and fries. I suspect the bread is homemade, really delicious. Service was a bit slow, but I suspect someone was sick because there were "only" two waiters present, so I can't blame them. :) They were always friendly! I found the music to be a bit loud; sometimes I had to shout to have a conversation. Nonetheless, overall a successful evening.

the Bite is definitely one of the best burgers in town. It is therefore generally recommended to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is regularly fully booked. The service is super friendly and accommodating. In winter you sit in the restaurant, in summer in the backyard, which is also very pleasant. The space is rather tight, but that's what creates the atmosphere. The only negative point: the one chair at our table near the kitchen was uncomfortable because the springs seemed to be cracked. Nevertheless, at the end the 5 stars should represent the great experience.

The breakfast burger was delicious - the patty actually came as ordered (medium rare) - which is almost never the case. The egg was cooked just right! You get different sauces on the table which is great! The service was very fast and attentive. One thing to note, the potato waffle is actually more like hash browns. It was not clear to us from the menu, but it’s actually potatoes in the shape of a waffle (and, unlike a waffle, fried).

After reading all the great reviews I was expecting to taste some really great burgers. Unfortunately the medium-rare was more like rare as only the outermost layer was browned and the core was raw. During my one hour stay at least four plates went back with central part of the burger untouched. When giving feedback we were told “our definition of medium-rare is red in the middle”. It would help if that definition was made clear on the menu.

I went to The Bite again - I'll go there again for a burger.

The avo toast was okey, but too pricey for the portion! It was more salad than avo toast!

Bacon burgers French fries Berry cheesecake Homemade lemonade Everything a 10 out of 10 I can highly recommend it, we were immediately served in a friendly manner and after about 15 minutes (we were there on a Saturday at 5:30 p.m.) we received the burger and the crisp, fresh Colslaw salad. The food was great, the music too. All in a great ambience will definitely go there again.

For me, the Classic Burger is the best burger in town. Meat nice and juicy, fresh vegetables, delicious sauce and an incredibly tasty bun. Fries perfectly seasoned. We were very positively surprised and will definitely come back!

Bad! The food costs a lot, the fries are cooked with oil from my grandfather's Audi 80. Music at very high volume and you have to shout to understand each other. The waitress who, after having made the wrong order, also brings us the wrong bill, and seeing the mistake, is also pissed off at having to redo the receipt. Well... the hamburger meat is actually good but the rest makes you never want to go back again. 🤌

I've come here for brunch multiple times. The french toast is amazing, it's so fluffy! It's my favorite menu item 😋 I once shared "the naughty breakfast" with someone else and we were both so happy with the variety of food we got! But it was definitely too much for us (not necessarily a bad thing), I'm definitely ordering it again but with a group of 3 to 4 people. The only thing I have to say is that there wasn't enough chocolate spread for the pancakes.

Tasty Burger and chrunchy fries. But you need to like there music sryle. Dance, Electro, Rapp, no very useful for a romantic dinner.

Worst dinning experience so far, there was a long live caterpillar crawling out of one of our burgers (The Californian), absolutely disgusting. Low hygiene standards of fresh ingredients for us was a No Go, shows how dirty can get the rest of the products. We could not continue eating anymore out of disgust and distrust, so we left the food almost untouched. The service did not look prepared to handle the situation as the waitress hesitated whether to just take out the bug or if we wanted a new burger instead. We cancelled the new burger and we decided to leave. Both side dishes and the mains were barely touched as the incident happen in the beginning. They offer dessert, which again we refused. We did pay full price for the non-bug burger nevertheless. First and last time at the bite the bug

Favourite Burger place in Zurich! Burgers are super yummy, service is very friendly. The best: Staff is always super flexible and tries to give us a table even if it’s crowded on Fridays and we don’t have a reservation. Will try the brunch next!

Great burgers, we also love their brunch. They are very busy so a reservation is a must.

The brunch was great and the staff was also very friendly. We had a hard time deciding, but we were all happy! The only point of criticism is the tight seating, but we didn't feel disturbed by it.

The Bite has a menu with so many tasty options. It's always guarantee of a great dinner. Edit on 30 Jan 2024: I actually put The Bite instead of Brisket but honestly both of them have a fantastic menu.

Great burgers! Super nice service. Our reservation with a dog was taken seriously and we had an ideal table. Great experience, a bit noisy when crowded. Drink prices at the top.

I thought the food we ordered was pretty underwhelming. I ordered the cinnamon French toast which was too mushy for me and my partner ordered the breakfast burger which he said lacked any flavour. The fries were okay but not too fresh tasting. I also ordered the bite hot chocolate which was really nice, and was not too sweet with the right balance of toppings. The service was good and atmosphere and aesthetic of the place was great.

Once a great, now a totally mediocre burger. It’s a shame as it’s almost the only decent burger place in Zurich.

After work we wanted to enjoy cheeseburgers and French fries together here. Staff nice and always trying to serve their guests. Unfortunately, waiting time isn't the real thing and unfortunately I don't like eating when I'm stressed. Whatever, had to try it.

We were at The Bite at the weekend, specifically there is a “Weekend Brunch Menu” and not all burgers are on the list. However, the burger was very tasty, the meat was very fine and the bread was very soft! The fries are very delicately seasoned and they also bring bottles of sauce to the table so you can take as much as you want. The local is small but very coolly decorated. The service staff was very well prepared. The prices are at the upper limit. You have to eat at The Bite at least once.

Cool restaurant, furnishings completely match the burger concept. Unfortunately, we didn't see that Saturday and Sunday it was closed until 2 p.m. Therefore we couldn't order all the burgers. The brunch menu is large and the prices are also rather high. The burger with egg (for CHF 5.00 extra) was very good, the meat is great, the bun is great, and so are the fries with our own seasoning. The sauces with it are great. All in all worth a visit, but a bit expensive for every day.

Really good and friendly service for brunch. I had the "hungry man's breakfast". I am still a bit of a hungry man afterwards.

This place serves great food dont get me wrong, the burgers are delicious, especially the meat. Buttt the sauce is okey at best and not very existent and this places prices dont seem very justified but nonetheless good portions.

We (party of 4) just had lunch here with our 2 doggies and had a really nice experience. The restaurant was fully booked and the service was as expected and friendly. The food was really nice and fresh, we all enjoyed our choice of the menu and the adult drink for dessert. We will definitely come back for another visit.

I am not a typical fan of burgers but I was positively surprised with the quality of the meat they offer there. I enjoyed the burger a lot and the ambience is cozy. Friendly staff and an overall nice experience for a normal price. I would definitely go again.

The ambience is great, fits perfectly. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Really high praise. The toilet is clean. They have great burgers there, very special and you can put them together individually. The meat on the burgers is top quality. The starters we had were also good chicken wings and a salad. The wings can be ordered in different levels of spiciness. But you should definitely make a reservation as it is quite small. Really good place for burgers, we would love to come back and can only recommend everyone to go here. The connection to public transport is okay and Helvetia Platz is nearby. Parking is also available in a nearby parking garage.

It's difficult without an order

Great experience today for brunch! The pancakes were really fluffy and the berry sauce gave a very nice touch. Overall great experience! Service could have been a bit faster at times..

Apart from the fact that it was a bit loud and cramped in the restaurant, I really enjoyed the visit. But I have to say that I didn't make a reservation, which is probably why the table was a little tighter. The food was very tasty, the staff was friendly. I can recommend it for burger fans 👍🏻🍔

We had a lovely time and were able to enjoy the "Hungry Man's Breakfast" and the "Avocado Breakfast" which we recommend. The service was also very friendly. We still paid 80 CHF for two people.

Very much enjoyed our stay there, we went without reservation around 19:30 and the place was still pretty crowded. Luckily we got a spot and had a lovely burger. Can recommend the asian salad.

Definitely some of the best burgers you can get in Zurich. The taste is great, the side dishes are great, and the price is very good. The waitress was really nice. Only the music was a bit too loud and it was difficult to hear each other. Will definitely come back though!

We already started eating as we were very hungry. The fries were very unique and delicious with bacon, tomatoes and Gruyère. The sharing plate was good, not much to say. My personal highlight was the French toast, as simple as it is, it was so good in terms of taste and texture 😊 The atmosphere was very “hip” and the ambiance like no other brunch spot!

We were there for brunch, very loud and a lot of people, pretty tight. The food was pretty good, the pancakes were fantastic. Unfortunately, a lot of our dishes were chipped, plates and glasses, and they weren't very clean either. (leftover food) Orange juice was great. Worth a visit, but wouldn't go back again

Get a tasty burger and on top a tinnitus for free. Very noisy place plays load rap music all night. I remembered this when there was no music and it was less packed with tables. But these times are gine now it seems.

Place, taste and service win, and the taste with the most wins

The best thing about the burger was the meat, great quality and perfectly medium fried! Unfortunately, the burger itself wasn't anything special. We had "the hot spot" (and love spicy food), unfortunately the taste of chili drowned out everything else. The cole slaw salad in an atypical style (vinegar oil dressing) was boring. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. You got the feeling that the waitress was passionate about her job!

Nice ambience 😍 Got the “Threesome” which was super cute. BBQ Burger is scrumptious. BUT!!! Their warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream was literally life changing. 🍫 The chocolate brownie was perfectly fudgy and cocoa, the homemade ice cream tasted of heavens. Legendary, revolutionary, never-done-before, amazing. Boyfriend and I can both recommend.

My burger had no taste and the fries were not fresh but frozen ones. Do no recommend for this price (31 Francs) ! :(

Burgers are delicious, and they also offer gluten-free buns! 🤤 Unfortunately, the French fries are contaminated and not suitable for celiacs since they are fried in a shared fryer.

The meat in the burger was only fried very briefly and was therefore very "rare". Otherwise quite a nice atmosphere.

It’s the best burger I had in Switzerland, The beef was so freshly made and delicious. The dinning experience is actually pretty good but because it was very busy in a weekday I highly recommend making a reservation hours before you go. Otherwise the wait time is pretty long. Yes I definitely recommend The Bite

The place is decorated in a cool way. The halloumi burger was very good. However, the fries weren't that special for my taste. At a burger restaurant I just expect better fries.

Sunday brunch: lukewarm food, forgotten orders. We won't do it again. (Service MA is still friendly and organized) Dinner: TOP!! We've been there several times, we'll do it again and definitely recommend it ;)

Had reservations as a group. The waitress didn't want to take an order until everyone was there. She refused to let us order until a time she specified. The manner, tone and expression were absolutely unacceptable for a service person.

Cozy garden restaurant in the back yard and the prices are fair for Zurich. The burgers were good, but you shouldn't expect a taste explosion and they were a bit too dry. The texture and taste of the fries gratinated with cheese didn't convince me. Good local beer, highly recommended.

The server was super nice, and the food - AMAZING! It was well worth the money. One downside was that there was no AC nor fan, so it was super hot inside the restaurant. The atmosphere was college-y style, and there were just youngsters eating and drinking in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend for a good hamburger if you’re in Zürich!
