The Bowling - Balexert in Vernier

Bowling for leisure activities very nice but for licensees the maintenance of the tracks leaves something to be desired. The oil is old or the appliance must be dirty. The effect of the ball does not take, does not adhere to the track!! Too bad, because the one on the Meyrin road had the merit of being extremely well maintained. The food is very good, and a thumbs up for the pizze.

I was surprised when I wanted to exchange money on my credit card for cash and they told me that they didn't have cash when last time they were able to do it without no problem ! A bowling alley without cash seems very strange to me... This is not the first time that I have had problems there, especially since the employees are very unpleasant. Don’t work in a bowling alley if you want to be that way with customers!

Came here with my younger cousin to do some bowling. I had a great time getting absolutely decimated 😅😅. The rustle hustle and bustle was absolutely crazy, so many little kiddies running amuck.

We had a wonderful evening as a family, the waiter was very friendly and took great care of my daughter, I recommend.

The House of the Dead is a rip off!!!! My friend put 4 chf in it and it didn't even work (she basically lost her money) and my other friend tried to play aswell and 5 seconds later she DIED!!!! (In the game ofc). So just a heads up, don't play this game. But overall a great experience BUT NOT FOR THE GAME THAT KILLED MY FRIEND (IN THE GAME). She's offended btw .

We didn't have to wait very long to play, however it is not possible to reserve. Very expensive drinks and snacks! A glass of Fanta for 4.60!!

We really enjoyed this very lively space but it’s a shame because it was noisy. In addition to bowling, there are other games: shuffleboard, pinball... The bowling alley is really well organized and we had a good time playing games with friends but it's still expensive to be able to have fun You can also eat and have a drink. The large covered car park at the Balexert shopping center is also very practical.

Very good, clean and good atmosphere. And stay for a bite to eat, it’s worth it (+ good value for money). There are meters of pizzas that will satisfy all tastes! Possibility of playing arcade games for all ages. Billiard room also.

Good bowling alley, well maintained as it is pretty recent. Staff is terrible, pricing is high (but normal for Switzerland) and the place is usually quite packed. One issue is that there is no general ball storage so you have to go look in other lanes if you haven't found your fit which may feel a bit intrusive into other people's games. Arcade section is pretty nice and the pool tables are decently spaced out (also overpriced 25CHF/h) Snacks are incredibly overpriced as well.

We went there for an evening with colleagues and overall, I would say it was a nice experience. The good thing about Balexert bowling is that there are plenty of lanes available, so we didn't have to wait too long to play. The reception staff were very friendly. In addition, the bar is close to the slopes so it is practical to be able to order drinks (beers, wines, cocktails, soft drinks) and enjoy them while playing, which adds a festive dimension to the evening. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, with soft lighting and ambient music, creating a friendly and festive atmosphere. The facilities are well maintained and clean, which is always a plus for an entertainment venue. We also tried the restaurant which offers pizzas by the meter with the track+meal formula. Although the service was a little slow and the waitress was not very friendly, the pizzas were very good and worth the wait. Of course there is a huge car park so no problem with parking. Good for an evening with colleagues, I would come back for a day with family.

Went for the first time to go bowling with a friend and I accidentally threw the bowling ball off the alley and the worker runs up to me screaming as I’m explaining to him that it’s my first time and it was an accident he then kicks us out for no absolute reason after apologizing this is unacceptable

Arrived Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and we were told that at 11 a.m. we had to clear the track because of the anniversary. 😢😠 We went to the games room and then ate there. The prices are exaggerated 6.80 Chf for a 0.25 cl beer. A liter of beer is expensive. Slow service, staff who do not speak French, difficult to obtain information. In short, I don't know if I would come back. 😢😡😠

The price of meals is just exorbitant. I take as an example a steak with its morel sauce with 3 morels 50frs. Just overkill for a bowling restaurant. I hope that for the trouble the employees earn more than the minimum wage

The food not exceptional. It was simple pasta with tomato sauce... it was a little dry and not too tasty, too bad.

No communication even though we booked for a restaurant before...in short, we couldn't do anything, no bowling. Each time a different problem. The children were sad... At the restaurant not much better... They even cleared the table without asking even though we hadn't finished eating. We were only gone for 2 minutes... in short, a disaster.

Rude staff, they said they closed 1 hour before the stated time. They are right as a company, but the last straw was to blame us for not having called when we simply consulted the schedules on the internet. We suggested changing the hours so as not to move people, but they said no because they SOMETIMES close later. They prioritize potential money over respect for customers, to be avoided.

They can be clearer about availability. Called the day before to book a lane and they said no need to book, just come in. On arrival, they said there were many birthday parties and therefore a 2h30 wait.

Super long service and really not good food with an over-the-top taste accompanied by a terrible smell coming from the dishes served. Exorbitant prices for simple menus. The next day, stomach pain for three days. Otherwise the games are great!

I'm calling to book bowling only. But I don’t specify at the beginning that it’s exclusively for bowling that I come. The person tells me that there is no problem reserving a table and bowling and when I specify that it is just to play 2 games, it turns out that it is not possible to reserve only the bowling on the weekend.. I showed up at this bowling alley two weeks ago without reservation and we were told that there was a 1.5 hour wait. So I'm calling the Praille bowling alley! Who in turn take reservations without any hassle for people like me and my group who come JUST for bowling. I took the liberty of putting this opinion after comparing the two services which are in the same field. I hope the feedback will lead to improvement. THANKS.
