The Dude in Zermatt

Was there twice, burgers with pulled pork or jackfruite were both extremely tasty🤤. The side dish, wedges are the best I've had so far👌 The ambience is also first class🤩

Nice place - nothing fancy but good hamburgers

We - a bunch of uni friends - have been coming to Zermatt for a couple of years and we are very happy to have discovered the Dude. The Dude in Zermatt nails it with delicious burgers, a wide beer selection, and live sports on a big screen. Friendly service seals the deal for a great night out with friends. It's the go-to spot for tasty food, drinks, and fun with the mates. It is for certain that we will come here again next year!

The restaurant and bar are unparalleled in their quality and ambience, making it an excellent choice for a lunch meeting. I frequently visit this establishment with my clients, and I am consistently impressed with the exceptional food and service provided.

A little lame, completely empty

The food was just disgusting. We are ashamed of having eaten something like that. It's a shame, it could be a cool place. In summary, just a huge disappointment and impudence

We wanted tasty meal for good money… unfortunately burgers prepared for us (05-Nov-2023) were ugly. Sorry for saying this, but it is true. And Hello to the Chef or his helpers as my “Burger Chef” I could only push inside me even for ~20%. Disaster. My spouse couldn’t finish chicken burger as well.

It was soooo nice there. Monica our waitress was attentive, fun & friendly. The music was not loud and the atmosphere just very easy going. The food was great and we will be back there tomorrow.

Came back to this place several times. This place is affordable and very cozy and has very friendly service! We had ribs and pastrami foccacia, both not immediately recommended as a meal. But still a very nice thing!

The Burgers are not worth the price. The bread is cheap and „wet“ The vibe felt dead and the waiter was not very motivated

Came for the pinball but it was switched off and staff told us it was "for decoration". Good beer, good music. Friendly staff.

Great place…good food, service and ambiance…modern and open…got the ribs and they were tasty AND too much to finish.

It was very busy, but we did not have to wait to be seated. The service was excellent and friendly. Our server spoke 4-5 different languages which made watching her interact with everyone fascinating. The food was pretty good. I had my 1st cheeseburger in nearly 3 weeks.

This was our lunch on the occasion of my birthday. Food was delicious and we were full. Steak was removed from the grill at the correct core temperature. Salad was also tasty and crunchy. Gnocchi was so delicious. The only thing that can be better is the pumpkin soup. The soup was quite watery and lacking in flavor. Otherwise nice service from the waiter and very personable. English is passable and very understandable. Excellent.

Were there at lunchtime on Good Friday. The restaurant seemed to be mostly visited by workers. Perhaps that's precisely why the price-performance ratio (four different menu offerings including salad from the buffet) is unbeatable (16 - 21 CHF). More than an acceptable alternative to the frills white wine behavior that otherwise prevails in Zermatt. Quality of the food, friendliness of service and ambience (America style/sports bar) are top notch.

Decent food, decent prices. The service was fine, the atmosphere suitable for the business. Apparently, even the locals like to go there.

Really big bar in Zermatt, close to the station, but a bit off the beaten track. Great if you want a comfortable seat, sport on TV and a burger menu. It's inside the Alpen resort also, so you don't need to worry about getting home if you've booked there, they've a side door to the hotel. Infact, you could watch sport, drink beer, eat food and then go to the hot tub without leaving the building 😁

If you are tired of all the super busy tourist overpriced food, go to the other end of town and go here. Not sure why more people have not found this place yet. Server was super friendly, food was very good and quick. There was an earlier review saying the burgers were fatty, not the case at all. And where else in Zermatt can you get a beer for only 2.50.

New cool pub in a mixture of a Alpine, pro american modern culture style. Fondly reccomend it for people who enjoys in some good choice of a beer, fatty burgers, Rock music, billiard, relaxed athmosphere... 😊🤟✌️ And animal frendly.🐾
