Bar always crowded but good atmosphere. From spring onwards, students and trendy people come to have a drink and hang out with a drink in their hand. There are beers and also fast food. The fries and hamburgers are excellent. Perfect for watching football matches on big nights like the Champions League.

Crazy atmosphere in summer on the terrace and lots of good drinks to drink. The staff speaks English and is very friendly. I recommend for an evening with friends or colleagues. The Riponne car park is right next door.

One of the few decent bars in Lausanne. We meet a fairly mature audience there, including people from all walks of life. It is easy to meet rather interesting people there with a good level of conversation. The terrace is very spacious, you never feel cramped. If the minority of rednecks who usually hang out at Flon could never come there, that would be perfect.

Excellent fish and chips and burgers. On nice days you eat in the small square in front which dominates the Place de la Ripponne. DIY service that can definitely be improved.

I really liked this bar. It has an incredible atmosphere, very "sports bar" style. It is located at a high point but has a garden with a terrace. They are quick to serve and serve burgers, chicken wings and other snacks at an affordable price.

I just drank a shandy. And I brought my cheese tartlet. I met 2 gentlemen with whom I chatted. It was pleasant. They had ordered a very appetizing platter. I had to leave because the rain came. I like this place where I went 5 years ago, with a friend from Quebec. I will go back...With pleasure.

The place is great, the menu top, prices fair. On the other hand, the service was lousy. When people order trays and they PAY, the least they can do is give napkins and cutlery and not blow when asked, this message is especially aimed at the short black-haired English-speaking miss. We're here to have a good time, not teach you your job. It's good to hire pretty little girls, it would be even better if they know how to serve... of course this doesn't concern all the waitresses, some are adorable and professional.

It is literally the place to be in Lausanne in the summer. People line up, the waiting staff merely moves parasols and cleans up. Service at the bar+bipper. The view is grand, the staff very kind, the food is great and the atmosphere is ridiculously boho glam given the circumstances.

Good for partying: if you're not blonde and tall, some waiters at the bar from the south of France won't even come to take your order. Too bad because the rest of the team is very nice

A place where lots of people meet in the center of Lausanne. The cool thing is that people of all ages meet there. It has an open-air square where you can observe the street, the museum, the cathedral. It is not accessible to people with mobility difficulties, as access involves several steps. However, the atmosphere is very cool, even with a cold of 4 degrees. I highly recommend 🥰

Really well placed bar. Very popular in summer, it takes advantage of the adjacent public square which serves as a terrace. The bar itself is quite small, it's really its outdoor environment that makes it so successful. We go and get our pint in it and sit on the grass, on the stairs, in the gravel, or on a bench if we're lucky. The burgers are good and enjoy a very good reputation in Lausanne. I would recommend this place especially in summer. Rather cheap price for the center of Lausanne. Pint at 7.- Burgers between 13 and 17.-
