When we stopped in front of the restaurant to study the menu, the lady who was standing on the terrace and talking to those present said that we weren't allowed to park in front of the restaurant because it was reserved for guests. I pointed out that we would like to stop there. The snippy “But we’re closed” showed us that we would still prefer to visit the wonderful inns in the immediate area, where people treat people decently. The pizzaria across the street, for example, is excellent and offers a wonderful view of the lake. It's also open.

Delicious cauliflower soup! Great price too 9.5CHF. Quick service & a beautiful (less busy) spot to stop between hikes at Mt Rigi. Less views than the peak when the weather is cloudy, but a great spot to stop nonetheless.

There is a small fridge with drinks for self service, payable via Twint or cash. Unfortunately Twint wasn't working, so only option was cash. Beer, soft drinks and an alcohol free panache was on offer. Beautiful view, got a bit chilly when the sun went behind the hill.

Price-performance okay, salad buffet looked better than it was, the soup bowl was a bit very small! The 'älplermaggeronen' is pasta with cheese sauce and if you're lucky you'll get one or two pieces of potato floating in the sauce.

We drove here specifically to have lunch, opening times were supposedly updated a week ago and it explicitly said: open. We arrive and it says on the door: Opens at 5:30 p.m.... It's a shame, very disappointed. Please state your opening times truthfully!

Only antisocial people there. Don't go there
