Good food as usual at Tibits. I'd love to come back. Clean, good service. Very central location at the train station.

I loved the tibits restaurant in Lucerne soooo much. :) We were welcomed kindly by the staff, who explained everything detailed with us how to choose between the several options the restaurant brunch offers (pay by weight or a fixed price: 49 CHF, a bit expensive, but you get to choose between such a biiiig variety of food at the buffet). An endless variety of vegan and vegetarian options - sweet and savory. If you take the fixed price for the brunch, you also get a yummy juice and a hot drink, which you can choose freely. That was a really lovely deal. I loved the waffle with a vegan vanilla and chocolate sauce, which you could put on top of it, yummy crunchy bread rolls with or without grains and also glutenfree options, the vegan sausages, vegan tofu scrambled egg, etc...... the endless vegetarian and vegan dream continues. I loved it soooo so much here and recommend this restaurant to everyone, who wants to make their tummies, minds and souls happy. I had a super energy filled happy morning. Thank you lovely tibits team!!! :)

More of a canteen than a restaurant. The restaurant is always very busy. There are sometimes longer waiting times at the buffet. But these are manageable. The quality of the food is good to very good. Only Asg ancestral and vegetarian products are available. Tibits is a pleasant place to eat, but not exactly romantic. It should be mentioned that Tibits has a nice children's corner

I think there was less choice of food than in Zurich, but everything was tasty and otherwise quite crowded.

Fine, varied offerings at the self-service buffet, where you can try a lot of things. Despite the full restaurant, we were able to have a pleasant conversation at the table of four.

The restaurant is located on the upper floor of Lucerne train station. Most evenings you have to queue for a long time to get a seat. They serve vegan and vegetarian dishes that are delicious. You can help yourself at a buffet and then pay at the cash register. I think the restaurant is rather expensive. Staff often seem very stressed to me.

We “discovered” TIBITS by chance for dinner and were totally thrilled. Pleasant atmosphere, very large and varied selection at the buffets, staff very friendly, value for money very good. We will definitely and happily come back!

I love the food at Tibits, friendly service... the only thing I have to complain about is the toilets... and the wafer-thin toilet paper, if you can call the paper toilet paper. Savings are being made in the wrong place...

Whenever we go to Lucerne From time to time we visit Tibits Lucerne. Today we were in Tibits in the evening to have dinner with my family. Location as always great 👍 Service very good until one detail at the bar we got a broken glass which could be very dangerous (I contacted Carlos personally) we ate a warm buffet and I'm very, very disappointed with the dish 🍽️ blue ones Potatoes. It was raw (I also reported it to Carlos) it can't be that the blue potatoes are served raw. Especially when it comes to a type of vegetable that is theoretically very easy to prepare. Cook in steam for 20 minutes. Allow to cool, marinate and bake for 10 to 17 minutes at 180 °C. The quality must always be there, for the price you pay does not correspond to the quality you get. We really enjoyed it.

We stayed shortly here to have a quick coffee and a hot chocolate with a gipfeli. Cappuccino cost Chf 5.20, hot chocolate Chf 7.70, gipfeli Chf 1.90. It is on the expensive side. The Cappuccino was ok, the hot chocolade definatly completely overpriced, consisting of approx. 260-300 ml Milk with a piece of chocolade placed on a wooden stick. By the time the chocolade was melted the milk was only luke warm. The size of the gipfeli compared to the price was very small. The proclaimed Service was not existant since it is self Service. To food offering I can not comment. Since 6 Stars for absolut top I can only give 3 Stars in total.

It is buffet where they weigh your plate and you pay by kg. When we visited the rate was 47 CHF/kg. For two of us the dinner came to around 42CHF A lot of options but majority are cold dishes. I guess is works for most of the Europeans. But it would be nice to have more warm food options as well. That will definitely help to attract more Asian population. When we were there the train alarm at the station was continuously on for 15 min. It was a headache. It wasn't restaurant's fault. During the peak time it is hard to find a seat. We waited for like 10-15 minutes.

5.20chfrs for a cappuccino with literally 4 sips…. Far too expensive

The buffet is varied, but I don't know what it's like to eat there regularly. How often there is variety on offer. Friendly staff.

The service was great. I can recommend ginger lemon tea. The prices are on the higher side.

I enjoy going to tidbits in Luzern for the food, the location, and atmosphere. I love the diversity of food that never fails to satisfy my cravings for variety. The location is upstairs the escalator of the train station and super convenient. And the atmosphere is chill and relaxing. It's a pleasure to work remotely at tidbits from time to time as well. Hope you enjoy too!

Super great restaurant...but the price is enormous! And because it's always so full and you scoop as you go, the food on your plate is cold because it takes a long way to pay. I still like to come because it's very cheeky, just not often because of the price.

Jam packed and noisy as hell. And when you go to pay for what you've served yourself, they ask you to add a tip to their already sky high prices!

Price does not match the quality of the food. There is a lot of variety but we found the food to be bland.

During peak time it if difficult to find spots and people tend to spread their bags which sometimes takes more spots than they intended to. So just ask and don’t assume it is taken 🤪 The staff is very friendly and made some good wine recommendation. So thanks for that. 💪

Vegetarian but extraordinary layout. This is inside Lucerne railway station. They sell buffet but the method was a bit unique to me. You take what you need and payment is decided on per 100 GM food basis

My favorite vegetarian restaurant in the Luzerne main train station is on the 2nd floor and has an in-house WC. If you have luggage, you can choose to sit outside (see photo).

The idea to have several vegan options where we can choose what amount we want is super good, I just think they need to offer more vegan protein options in order to have a more balanced menu. The desserts could also be better.

A feast for the palate, a rendezvous with environmental friendliness, and a poem for the wallet. The diversity of your buffet is truly a nod to the plant world, but also a tribute to the skyrocketing prices. You'd almost think the flavors were hand-picked by unicorns to justify such extravagances. A piece of tofu dressed in holy spices is presented here as if it were forged from gold. But wow, the pioneering spirit in the environmental protection movement continues to advance! Because not only the food, but also the environment itself is treated ceremoniously here. The plastic cutlery - a tribute to botany that helps us taste our delicacies in proud vegan style. But be careful! In your boundless generosity to keep the cutlery for the home, the valued guest has to pull out his wallet again. A charming detail that certainly only serves to remind us that the noble mission of environmental protection obviously comes at a price. It seems as if the line between culinary ecstasy and financial agony is blurred here. A trip to Tibits is truly an adventure of superlatives, where the palate dances and the wallet cries. It remains to be hoped that these high prices will soon be incorporated into research into a diamond-topped salad, as this seems to be the next logical step. Sincerely, but I won't be coming back...

This is not fine dining as it is in a train station and has a buffet but....the food was delicious, there was an excellent range and the staff were friendly. And cost is based on weight of your plate so you can decide how much to eat and pay. A hot meal with vegetables for a decent price in Switzerland!!!

You could easily offer something for normal eaters in a Vegi Resti. In Normalrestis there are also vegetarian menus.

The vegan selection for breakfast wasn't as big as I know for lunch or dinner, but everything was very tasty, everyone was friendly and the restaurant is very nicely decorated.

Very special dining possibility, don't miss it! It's a vegetarian Restaurant, there are specialities from more countries, different spices.. It's a Buffet System with messurment of food weight (what you put for your plate). Just perfect!

The restaurant is above the train station platforms and despite this the atmosphere inside the restaurant is very pleasant, a vegan buffet and payment according to the weighing of the plate. The food is delicious and of a very high standard, the price accordingly. highly recommend.

Always a very large selection of very fine food. The buffet is always tidy, stocked and clean. I really enjoy eating here when I just want to eat something healthy and delicious quickly.

To pass the waiting time, I went to tibits at the top of the train station for a coffee. I like the furnishings, the single/two-person tables could be a little further apart. My cappuccino with oat milk was okay in itself, but for the price of CHF 7.20 I would have expected something "more": a saucer with a coffee spoon, a small biscuit or something similar.

Being a vegan, I was thrilled to find this place. Huge selection of options and all clearly labeled. Most of the items on the buffet were tasty and nutritious. The Jaffna curry and the spinach patties were out of this world. They even have several items of dessert which are vegan, which I was pleasantly surprised to find. I also got the vegan ice-cream which was wonderful. All in all, a heaven for vegans and vegetarians! I wish there were such restaurants in the US as well. Food that is good for your health and good for the environment! I especially looked for a tibits when I was in Zurich as well, after my experience with the tibits in Lucerne.

Our absolute FAVORITE PLACE - incredibly delicious food, great vegan selection. The catering we had was also absolutely great. So cozy, whether for the morning buffet, a cafe, or dinner - the selection and offer is always convincing. :-) Maybe soon completely vegan? ;-) Definitely well labeled, whether for allergy sufferers or vegan. Thank you for being here - the employees are also super friendly and well-positioned - people are happy to give tips for their “study”, “language school” or “holidays”. :-)

Tasty vegan food on the second floor of Lucerne Station. Great variety of salads, hot dishes, breads and desserts. It is fairly expensive priced by weight but the taste and quality of food is worth the price. Good ambience and several seating options.

Overall it is a nice place, and I appreciate an only-vegetarian restaurant. I think the buffet system of "only pay what you eat" (by weight) is also good to avoid food waste, but it involves having to go often to the bar, unless you calculate very well at the begining what you want. The personel did not remind people to take away the piece of bread from the plate for weighting, which should be for free. But that is only possible to know if you can read swiss german. The food was good, but not the best I have eaten at a restaurant either. But I still think it is a decent place to have a meal with friends and spend the time at, for an affordable price.

Finally was able to return TIBITS yesterday, 8th July'23! A visit to Luzern without TIBITS being included is just not feasible . The food is beyond perfect, and each time I discover something new and delicous. Always so fresh and continually being controlled! The staff are ALL so helpful and efficient, creating a great relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the wonderful food. They even make time to explain details of recipes should you wish to know more about the dishes. What better way to finish a great day in Lucerne than a visit to TIBITS before moving calmly to your train situated just below the Restaurant!! Thank you to you all for making what had already been a memorable day, even more memorable, and can't wait to visit again, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!

This is a place where you can make your own vegan plate, lovery place and the food is delicious.

Good location and nice ambience. You can always find something good to eat, but also something not so tasty. The food is usually lukewarm and not hot/fresh. Price/performance inadequate.

Make your way upstairs in the Lucerne train station, and prepare for an absolute treat. I'm no vegan, but this food was simply wonderful. Tremendous variety, as you can see in the pics others have posted, all food freshly prepared, and the self-serve feature ensures that you'll get exactly what you want in the quantity you prefer. The prices are quite reasonable, always a plus when visiting Switzerland.

Very nice restaurant, right in the Lucerne Banhoff. We needed a place to have a quick lunch on a Sunday and our choices were limited, but it turned out great. I'm not vegetarian, but I was very happy with the food. And everything is priced the same, by the weight, and it ended up being one of the least expensive meals we've had in Switzerland! The staff was very friendly, too.
