Very good spectacular quality, not a card full of choices but few and right ones

Very pleasant neighborhood restaurant in Ascona with Italian and Ticino menus. We live nearby and have been visiting Ticinella for years. The cuisine is very good and you can usually get an inexpensive daily menu. The outdoor area is particularly recommended in the warmer months. You can also enjoy an aperitif on the terrace and then move to the restaurant. The Ticinella is always worth a visit, especially when times are fully booked.

We had a super experience for the New Year's Eve menu. The dishes were really very good, plentiful and served quickly. The price was absolutely fair, and we appreciated the flexibility of being able to choose between individual dishes and the full menu option.
