Noisy trip Place lacks charm Bland, flavorless food I'm not really difficult, I don't like it

I waited too long to discover this gem. Went for lunch and brunch and the service is fabulous. Food was fresh and tasty. The brunch is incredible. And the view is beautiful. Definitely worth going and returning!!

The view is breathtaking. But if you're hungry or thirsty, you'll have to wait a loooong time before your order is taken. Tired of waiting, we ended up leaving the place without being able to consume. There weren't many customers though. The staff is unpleasant (I say hello, they don't answer me, for example). This is the 3rd time I've been there and the last time.

Very friendly atmosphere and service

We really enjoyed our brunch experience. There is a lot of choice, the food is good and the staff are very pleasant. The only point of improvement is that the food unfortunately did not stay very hot.

For a restaurant in a sports museum, it's surprising that smoking is allowed on the terrace. We were literally smoked in by the surrounding guests. The cafe was OK and the service was very friendly and accommodating.

I will only talk here about the all-you-can-eat brunch offered on Saturdays and Sundays: simply dazzling! Absolutely loved our brunch at Tom's cafe, the staff were very polite, helpful and on point. The variety of food was amazing, to suit every tastes. Highly recommend, we had a table of the terrace with it's stunning views.

At the TOM snack, it's a shame to serve glasses with a different capacity and when we ask to add a little... the waiter replies that he has already put more in the other glass... in the meantime we have when even paid CHF 33.- with a board... not very commercial service.

You have to wait.....we forget you.... ice cream without interest, we could expect products from a master ice cream maker.

Good food (even the pasta), with prices in line with any bar/pub in Switzerland, although you also eat dishes with particular and very delicate preparations (without sauces). Kind service. Stunning panorama, terrace overlooking the lake.

Super pretentious when it's not even a classy place. This is a museum restaurant, I would still like to point out that. When I arrive, given the cold atmosphere, I wait a moment for someone to come and seat me with my 2 children, as no one comes I decide to go and sit at a table. I just wanted a drink and a snack for my kids. A first waiter comes and I give him an order. That's when he tells me that I have to write down the order on a sheet of paper with the menu and leaves. I do so and wait a good 15 minutes before someone else kindly comes to take my order. 1 American platter of 3 mini burgers and 3 drinks. In the meantime, someone comes to tell me that I have to leave the table at 6 p.m. because it is reserved. There was no sign on the table, I certainly wouldn't have sat down if I had known. It was 5:35 p.m. and in any case I didn't plan to last forever. 5 minutes later a waitress comes and puts the drinks on the table without saying a word, hello or anything. She places the bottles and glasses next to them and again it’s up to me to serve the drinks in the glasses. 5 minutes later the mini burgers arrive, which yet another waiter brings with a little more sympathy. I ask him for the bill in order to leave the place quickly. It was the waitress who served us the drinks who came and placed the bill on the table as she passed without stopping to collect. Since I can only pay by card, I decide to wait for someone to come so I can pay. After a while the waitress returns, still without speaking. I hand her my card and she cashes it. I say thank you to her and then I hear her muttering a m’ci so she’s not silent… when I leave no one says goodbye. Politeness is definitely not there. I am deeply disappointed. I wasn't expecting great service but my impression is that the restaurant doesn't treat all customers the same way. A mother with 2 children is not interesting for them so we must quickly clear out to make way for a more upscale clientele. Except that if my experience had been good, I might have wanted to come back as part of a company outing, for example. They pay too much attention to standards and it’s regrettable. I clearly won't set foot there again

For the overall brand I will give 5*. The service is truly impeccable, the servers are really top notch, the setting is great, absolutely nothing to say. As for the food, most of the dishes were really excellent, but some lacked seasoning or had too much (e.g. the eggs, the hot beef (I don't know if it was roti or other…)), the choice was OK (foie gras would have been very appreciated however given the price). I know this is a tough review but for 68 francs for brunch, I want the best possible quality on everything.

Rarely have I been so satisfied with a meal! The service is impeccable, the view is magnificent and the food was excellent! I was pleasantly surprised by the prices which turned out to be extremely attractive considering the very touristy location of the restaurant (20chf for the daily special). Ultimately, it was the small, simple gestures that have become so rare these days that appealed to me: Bringing bread and a carafe of water before the meal, without having to be asked, is not common practice. our days and it made us very happy!

A superb view of the lake, a very beautiful and well-appointed place with top-notch staff. We went there after a visit to the museum and honestly very good value for money - absolutely fine. Special mention to the waiter who was very professional: smiling, friendly, commercial and happy to do his job. Bravo to him!

Beautiful view, nice building, downside is that there are always a lot of customers, so the staff looks very busy. But it is a recommended place in Lausanne. 🌟

Very nice surprise! We went to brunch during the museum's 30th anniversary without a reservation and the waiter managed to find us a good seat. The service was efficient and polite. On the dishes everything was good and included the brunch classics as well as more elaborate dishes (suckling pig, stuffed salmon, etc.). A little more about the excellent choice of cheeses. The view is breathtaking, it’s certainly one of the best brunches in Lausanne for 68CHF.

This review concerns the TOM Café located on the top floor of the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. On weekends this restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat brunch with a drink included and unlimited apple juice. Reservations are strongly recommended. In this very bright space, with a terrace and an unobstructed view of Lake Geneva, this restaurant offers a brunch with a wide variety of products: antipasti, fresh and local dishes, numerous desserts, cheeses but also the unmissable continental breakfast. It is rare to find an all-you-can-eat buffet with such good quality products across the entire offering. The attentive and efficient service of this restaurant makes this stop unmissable during your visit to the Olympic museum.

Best location in town. Beautiful view of the lake and great food. Was able to try the famous perch here, but all the food looked extremely delicious. A must when visiting the Olympic Museum.

Disappointed...went with my daughter on Mother's Day Sunday and the products offered on their bircher muesli tel card or the basket of pastries were not part of the offer. All the more surprising since we were going there for brunch. When you ask them why they are deprived. The brunch lacks finesse, no salmon, no fine cold meat. Nice cheese offering but only one bread variation. No cut fruit, a mixed fruit salad. Too bad the place is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. And only one hot drink and of course no fresh fruit juice.

The terrace was not served. No problem, you should report to the TOM Café bar. My wife got something to drink and eat, and two minutes later I got nothing. A pity. The staff doesn't have a clear line, you are harshly reprimanded and ignored. Likewise the Chef de Service. Arrogant, arrogant, doesn't try to find a solution. Too bad we ate our Piquenique in the park.

Family meal during lunch time, fair prices, modern and clean restaurant and the staff is very friendly, very big downside is the speed of the service: 1 hour 45 minutes on site for a simple meal (2 daily menus and 3 children's dishes) which should be quick before visiting the museum)

Brunch as good as ever, special mention for the return of the all-you-can-eat buffet which I find brilliant and each dish is a treat. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price which I still find high and which has increased. Today we encountered a problem with billing which was resolved very quickly. In short, I always recommend this place.

Very nice home. We were 2 people for lunch. The menu at 20.- for this quality is really nice. The service is impeccable. The menus arrived quickly and above all it was delicious. Dishes full of flavor and generous. I'll be back! Obviously the view adds to all of this.

The service is inattentive and below Swiss standard. I am a local, and come here twice a year hoping that management would change. Not yet. I recommend checking out other options in the area, as there are many quality Swiss cafeterias located above and below the park.

We were eating there on the occasion of our visit to the Olympic museum in Lausanne. At the door we were greeted by a very friendly Portuguese lady who helped and advised us from the beginning. The truth is that we ate well and we were able to do so with enviable views from the terrace.

Vegetables lasagne was one of the best i have ever had.

Incredible view, friendly and very helpful staff, also the food and drinks were very good. I had a vegetarian burger, a cappuccino and a local wine all of which were delicious. The place is a little touristy and popular, but it’s definitely worth a visit.

Very tasty indeed! But the TOM hamburger is pretty “heavy”, did not like it so much. But still, tasty. There’s also an incredible view of the lake outside, amazing!

Aurien is a terrible manager. terrible treatment of customers. Attempted to kick me out of the restaurant for requesting to switch tables from a 2 seater to a 4 seater. Later began shouting and threatened to call security.
