This is a hidden diamond of foreign deserts in Zurich. If you are around you must stop by and enjoy amazing chimney roll cake. You can find it in side street. I recommend the one with choko, strawberry and cream. Kids would love it. For sharing and small bites I recommend the one with sugar and cinnamon. The owners are very friendly. The atmosphere in the shop is very nice and cozy. I will get one next time I am around and you should too!

Very friendly service, extremely warm and relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. I felt like I was in a cozy room. Reminded me of Danish hygge, thank you for this beautiful place 💛✨ The raw cocoa drinking chocolate is also highly recommended!

Tasty treats in a wonderful historic location

Local in the middle of Zurich's old town that offers Baumstrietzel/Chimney Cakes. There are seating areas in front of the shop that allow you to eat your order comfortably and enjoy the old town atmosphere (on the weekends there can be a rush of tourists from time to time, with long queues forming, but then you can just do a round and come back ). The chimney cakes taste good (you can choose between numerous toppings etc.). Staff was friendly and helpful. Good alternative for a different choice of dessert! :)

Two out of the three times I have been here the chimney cake I got served was never fresh but it was always hit it up. On top of that the first time there were problems with card payment and I had to twint. I really like chimney cake, that's why I decided to go back here, but if they are hit it up they are not as delicious.

The owner is very friendly and patient to introduce different type of the Chimney rolls, and different flavours. It is tasty and not too sweet, not too heavy either, just as nice as dessert after your meal. Have it when it is warm, definitely worth to revisit and recommend to all who like sweet stuff, or whoever walking for a long day in Zurich and need to treat yourself, :)

I love chimney cakes and this family business really know how to prepare them. I usually enjoy the classic one with cinamon, but they have also other sorts. Even in a shape of a cone filled with vanilla cream or Nutella.

A unique artisan of the chimney cake and a place where you feel the passion for the product. Personally, I am not a great fan of sweets with whipped cream but the interaction and passion of the owner makes this a 5-star experience.

Vanilla Dream was so delicious and the lady was really friendly. Definitely needs to be repeated :)
