Trumpf-Buur in Ebikon

Enjoyed breakfast brunch with friends. A very rich buffet offers something for every taste. Very fine bread. All I wanted was scrambled eggs. Afterwards we played a game of mini golf. Large playground for children to play and animals to look at.

Nice typical Swiss restaurant. Tasty traditional food.

Very great place. The location is beautifully located next to the forest, with a nice playground for children and enough parking spaces. The service was wonderful. A very good address for fine dining! And it's nice to see that a traditional pub doesn't automatically mean - old - dusty - outdated. For years I have been enjoying “my” beloved Lucerne pate with fries! That evening there were four of us in the Trumpf-Buur on the Hundsrücken. The other guests also found their dishes very tasty. The ambience was very nice. Everything was polished to a high shine. The fire was burning in the fireplace and there was a cozy atmosphere. What was particularly noteworthy this evening was the performance of the service staff. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the woman who served us; However, she deserves special praise and thanks! See you next time :-)

I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. My expectations were correspondingly high. The Trumpf-Buur restaurant did justice to my wishes. Food top, service top. We were 5 adults and everyone was happy. The area is beautifully designed. We would love to come back with our children to test the playground :) I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The vermicelles were very fine, but the whistling sound from the carousel was terrible and our hair still stands on end!!! We wanted to play mini golf but we lost the desire The geese are cool The service woman couldn't walk around us because the dogs at the other table weren't so nice

We have been guests many times and have never been disappointed. Service top, food A1. Brilliant game food, highly recommended! There is a playground outside for the children and animals (goats, ponies, donkeys, etc.) to pet. They also offer mini golf. The restaurant is Swiss, homely and has a good atmosphere. You meet young and old there.

The food was great, the service was good, the prices were fair. Good atmosphere with a large garden terrace, plenty of space for children, large playground and animals. Trumpf Buur is a perfect family restaurant and also a perfect dinner restaurant for everyone and couples. We'd love to come back. We were very satisfied.

It is a wonderful restaurant with a huge garden restaurant. Also perfect with children. The restaurant has its own petting zoo... Very courteous and friendly staff. We will definitely visit it again😊

Four of us visited on a midday when the weather was beautiful. It was amazing how few people there were and therefore amazing that the staff was extremely stressed and very unfriendly. The chügeli pie was a complete disappointment! And after explaining to the waitress, she sullenly called the boss and he wanted everything explained to him at least three more times! When we left the restaurant and went to the toilet, we found the boss gossiping about us and other guests to the staff. Great! At least the other bad reviews agree with ours! It's not always just the staff who don't value the customers!!!

You shouldn't serve people with vicious dogs, even those with a muzzle. The little girl was probably in shock when she was attacked by the dog. (He had a muzzle after all)?

The food tastes good. I think it's a shame that they have everything there for the children, a wonderful children's paradise! But the children are not valued at all. The staff is absolutely unfriendly, both in their dealings and in their language. Service as well as kitchen! Very quickly stressed, which is what you should be used to in such a place, inflexible if you instead of e.g. I would like fries and rice. That's really a pity! I definitely recommend Child Friendly Staff, in general I would recommend the books.

We recently had dinner there with the family for the second time. All meals were praised. My fitness plate with chicken breast was disappointing for me. A piece of meat, not particularly large, with very little salad for 29 francs. In my opinion, absolutely overpriced. Unfortunately, I don't remember who served us, but you'll know that I'm talking to you. When I say that I don't drink alcohol because I have to go to work afterwards, I can very well respond to your comment; "What does 'must' mean here? Are you happy that you have a job, many would like to but don't have the opportunity!" waive. Firstly, you don't know what I do and secondly, I enjoy spending time with my family and had to leave them early to go to work.

Actually, we are always happy here. But today we were disappointed that no one came to meet us. I think if you don't like the dessert of the day, you can be a little flexible and offer another scoop of ice cream. In any case, it was never a problem before.

Great here. Were visiting for a company event. First we played a round of minogolf and then we went out to eat and drink.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is not nice, very unfriendly staff, when ordering the dessert, it was mentioned twice without cream, but it came with cream, the serving daughter wasn't interested, at the Biber where I decided on a dessert, the serving daughter said I was I could still take it, when I returned it she reacted spitefully with an unfriendly background noise, once there and never again. You want the money, but the hospitality remains 😡

Very cozy outside on the lawn next to animals and a great playground for the children. The food was good, the service wasn't quite as good, which is normal given the rush of customers and doesn't count towards the 5* rating. Gladly again and again.

We spontaneously decided to stop at the Trumpfbuur when I called and Ms. Fischlin picked up the phone. She said loudly and clearly that you didn't have a single table free on Sunday and she said I could come by and wait until someone got up and left When we were in the restaurant, Mr. Fischlin came and said there was a table available in the back area, there were around 4 tables available in the entire restaurant, so it wasn't fully booked. When I pointed out to Mr. Fischlin that we needed a child seat, he said take one and place the child chair at your table. Sorry Mr. Fischlin Hospitality is different. When we wanted to order two children's menus for an adult plus a child and a normal menu, Ms. Franziska was very loud and said it was a children's menu that no adults could get. She also repeated this very loudly so that the other person said why she is so loud, we are nearby, there is no reason to shout so loudly at the customers. In any case, the food came and it was good. When we ordered ice cream the bill came for over 100Chf. Have you paid, Ms. Franziska, I'm sorry to tell you this, but I've never seen or experienced anything so cheeky, loud, and waitressing in my 40 years. Learn to appreciate the customers no matter if 10 people come and have a children's menu, not everyone has a big appetite.

Nice atmosphere on the terrace, unfortunately only 3 stars because it was quite loud on a Sunday (children's noise). But the service was even friendlier and the food was even better.

It's a very Swiss farm restaurant with many farm animals outdoors. The service is good, the food tastes a bit salty in my opinion, but the overall feeling is pretty good.

We were in the restaurant as a family on Easter Sunday and can only pay our great respect for the friendly service and the sensational food. We will be happy to travel from Zurich again, it is worth every km! Looking forward to next time.

I am a guest in the restaurant from time to time. The last time we were there, I noticed a lady with gray hair tied in a braid. As soon as new guests arrived, as soon as they sat down (some of them didn't even take off their jackets), they were bombarded with questions about what they would like to order. Some find this disturbing, which was evident from their looks. After a few days we were guests there again. My wife ordered a salad. We aren't very hungry so we wanted to share the salad. After we asked for a second set of cutlery, we were told that yours costs an extra five francs!! No matter where I've been in the world, I've never experienced that before. We ate there for the last time. Salad itself was quite good.

I associate a lot of childhood memories with the Trumpf Buur. We celebrated many celebrations there with the family. And every year after a round of mini golf I eat the Trumpf Buur menu and look forward to seeing the animals and especially Jolanda the pony, she encouraged me as a child that I wanted to work with horses :) She must probably be the same age as me by now :)

We are there often and always enjoy coming back for mini golf or dessert/dinner. Recently we were a larger group and were there for Buurezmorge. We noticed that the buffet was well filled, but for us it wasn't typical for a breakfast at 9 a.m. in the morning. Among other things, with Älplermaggronen, salad and, in our opinion, a small selection of meat cuts. Instead of Maggronen and 6 or 7 different desserts, we would have liked some hash browns, fried eggs/scrambled eggs and bacon (which was an extra charge). The food itself was super tasty, there was a small pot where you could cook your own eggs as you like them or cut different types of bread. The service was OK but could have been a little less stressful. For the price paid of 70CHF (2 people, including 2x scrambled eggs with bacon) we didn't really want to pay that much. Compared to the Richemont in Lucerne, you get a lot more for a similar price. Complaining at a high level.

A beautiful piece of earth in the middle of the canton of Lucerne in Ebikon. Easy and quick to get to by car and has plenty of parking spaces. We went there because we were looking for a nice trip with food & drink and something to do for the kids (1 & 2). The food is recommended! And it seems to be a well-known restaurant in the area. The food tasted wonderful and the service staff was very quick, friendly and nice. We'd love to come back! The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area with an outdoor mini golf course, a cute playground (not very big but sufficient) with a larger play tower (climbing wall, stairs, spider's nest, slide, 1x normal swing), 4-seater seesaw, carousel and a rotating mushroom (CHF 1/time). It also has an area to play with wheels (= tires). There is also a small farm where you can admire a few species of animals. It's tiny but it's perfectly adequate. We also enjoyed being right in a forest reserve = comfortable, beautiful and quiet walks through the forest or the forest clearing.

The staff eats with the guests in the middle of the restaurant. This significantly disrupts privacy.

Good Swiss cuisine, ate a great Cordon Bleu. Price performance top.

Dear Trump Buur team We were a little disappointed with our brunch. The selection was okay, but the Älplermagronen was more than cooked through. The cheesecake? pretty *sloppy*. Cappuccino, tea, scrambled rice etc. can be ordered at an additional charge. Conclusion: I would rather pay CHF 30.00 more and then go straight to the buffet 😉 And: a little *facelift* certainly wouldn't hurt, as the ambience was *back to childhood*.

I have been a guest at this restaurant for over 20 years and so far there has never been anything to complain about and therefore nothing to complain about. We are happy to come and enjoy our stay with you. Food delicious, prices OK and service good.

One of my favorite restaurants, we drive from the canton of Bern to Lucerne so that we can eat the best soft ice cream. The food is incredibly tasty, the staff is friendly and the ambience is very nice and inviting, you just have to try it out

It was stressful on the part of the staff. We hadn't even sat down before the staff asked us to go and grab something from the farmer's buffet before the next ones came. From 10.30 onwards you also noticed that it would be good if they picked up something or paid slowly and left so that it could be covered for the Sunday lunch service. At the farmer's buffet, unfortunately no Weggli or croissants and only salami, ham and a variety of cold cuts. The buffet was squeezed into a corner between the entrance and the kitchen. Shame seemed unloving to me. I'm not the only one who criticizes the friendliness of the staff, as several previous writers have already written, it's a shame for the Fischlin family that they don't clarify this with their staff, it can't be that you're being bullied like that.

I don't know if it's like this every day, but on Saturday July 16th, a Blasio was even installed. It was definitely not the last time I was here.
