Friendly, easy going service, food is good.

So far the food has always been good. Today all three portions of carbonara were so dry that we couldn't finish them. Very unfortunate.

Lunch Carbonara (with bacon, of course) was delicious, but we started searching for the Bolognese. Where was the beef hiding? Four stars, but the friendly staff deserve an additional star👍. That's why we give it a five!

Normal pasta, like from Barilla. Material costs approx. 3.- per portion, 5 minutes preparation time, then 16.50 (!). With cutlery in the restaurant 19.- Already hefty prices.

Lunch July 26th / Penne al Pesto - Conclusion of the visit: 1. Unloving greeting 2. Basically “throwing” the bread basket with a cheese shaker frozen in the fridge with 1 roll 3. Sticky penne 4. Pesto sauce bland and definitely not freshly prepared. Based on their facial expressions, the guests weren't dissatisfied, I definitely was.😡😉

My first visit with you: Grande! Even though it was lunchtime, I got my penne with 5P Sugo straight away - it tasted really good, I'll be happy to come back :)

I visited this place a couple of times for lunch. The penne all’arrabbiata were good and the service is very quick and efficient which is good. Unfortunately there are very few vegan options which is not good enough in 2022 in my opinion.

Great place for a pasta fix. Love how the pasta is cooked al dente. The sauces are also delicious and tasty, especially Bolognese. The restaurant is located conveniently right beside the Stauffacher tram stop for trams 2,3, and 9. You can choose either piccolo (small) or normale (regular) for the pasta sizes. Small is actually a very generous serving already. Pasta comes with bread.

Carbonara wasn't that tasty. Tasted bland and noodles were a bit hard. Also rather expensive.

Food and drinks must be ordered at the counter and paid for in advance. With the drink and the cutlery you go to your table and wait for the freshly prepared food. The service employee forgot to pass on my order to the chef. That's why I had to go to the counter a second time and ask where the food was. she then kindly apologized several times; The penne al pesto was then promptly served to the table. The taste of the sauce was average, so it wasn't really convincing. Parmigiano Reggiano/grated cheese is given in a container that is too small when paying at the checkout. Normally I like to eat carbonara at Tschingg but today I am very disappointed. Instead of carbonara I got boiled pasta with scrambled eggs. There was probably too much heat during preparation. I understand that things have to be done very quickly over lunch because there are a lot of people waiting. But I would have liked to have waited longer if the carbonara had been prepared correctly. A pity!

Got tempted for the place before movies because it seemed to have nice decorations, nice pasta options for quick grab of food. Going in desert and juice looked quite nice. However as I picked to have carbonara pasta - all the looks couldn't compansated for the poor food. It was very bland pastas sauce with barely cooked pasta (whole new level of al dente). Also traces other sauces - either they use the same spoon or don't clean where they warm up. In addition sauce turned out to be too creamy which made my stomach upset (and why is there cream in carbonara?!?!). Definitely not worth the money. Red wine was meh. Not very welcoming service. Save your 15-18 bucks for a pasta and go for mc Donald's or greek across the street for at least predictable average food.
