We were at the hut to take a break. It has to be said that the weather was very bad all day. Unfortunately there was no longer a table inside but the service staff didn't move quickly enough to throw us out of the hallway again, really rude! We then took a seat outside. Then came the next disappointment. You couldn't order children's portions as an adult and the children's meals were only valid for children up to 12 years of age. Well, I know it differently, it's up to each person how much appetite they have and how much they can or want to eat!

Value for money does not match the quality of the food.

Always worth a stop. Also as a meeting place for families. Great sunny terrace.

Amazing first visit and hopefully not the last!

We had to queue because there were a lot of people. When we got a table we were served very quickly and the drinks and food were delivered quickly. The service staff was attentive and friendly. The hut is beautifully and comfortably furnished.

Good restaurant on the edge of the slopes with a great sun terrace. Fine Tschuggenkafi.

This place lives up to the hype. Really liked it here. Probably best to book a table or a lounger or a bed for lunch, as you will want to enjoy the view, especially on a sunny day. Food was tasty, some good, some excellent. Service was quick and efficient. Will come back!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Tschuggenhütte in Arosa and I am thrilled with my experience. The food was excellent and offered a wide variety of delicious options. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made my visit particularly pleasant. The prices were fair and reasonable for the quality of the food offered and the service. The loungers were extremely comfortable and the blankets provided ensured I could stay cozy even in cooler weather. I recently had an experience at the Tschuggen Hut in Arosa that I would like to share so that interested parties know what they are getting into and the team can improve their services. Unfriendly service: Unfortunately, I found the service, especially the waitress Bettina, to be particularly unfriendly. I found their answers to my questions about the menu to be unloving, stroppy and stupid. I found it unpleasant when I was denied the opportunity to order certain dishes from the menu. Uncoordinated service: The service seemed uncoordinated, which detracted from the overall experience. Eating in stages: The food was not served at the same time, resulting in a less pleasant experience. Price level: The prices seemed high to me personally. Limited space and table allocation: There was limited space and I got the impression that the staff was reluctant to give up the table for long periods of time. I hope this feedback can help improve the quality of your services.

Today I was in the fantastic tschuggenhütte in Arosa. Right at the entrance I was greeted wonderfully by Elaine. I ordered spaetzli and Elaine took care of it straight away. She was very charming and loving. I would love to come to this gourmet hut again. Ps: it's worth a visit :)

Today I was with my group of friends in the pretty and cozy Tschuggenhütte and we had an unforgettable experience. Lea, who just came to our table and took the orders without any problem, is a very friendly and charming waitress! She does a great job and serves customers with joy, heart and humor! She is very nice and took time for us with love. Gladly again and again. ☺️ The food was also very tasty.

Lack of structure when serving. They need two employees for three drinks. We also ordered three dishes, none of which were served together. The last dish came 10 minutes after we had actually finished eating.

Top service. Marco and Sara very accommodating. The Tschuggenplättli was very disappointing, for 33Fr, a piece of cheese and also meat, significantly less than in previous years. Otherwise everything was great

Fine goulash soup. I find 1 piece of “Aroserli” for Fr.5.- intense! I would have expected a pair for this (for 5.- more). Fast service. Great weather 😎

Place to be in the Tschuggen area. Simple and uncomplicated, motivated team. Super centrally located in the ski area. Also perfect with kids. The cuisine is very regional, a variety of vegetables and salads. Not in the quantity of the offering but in the variety of the ingredients. Considering the amount of menus that are sent out, hats off! Again and again and at any time with pleasure! Addition: the big beef tartare is a roarer!

Great support with the organization, before and during a company ski event. The price of the meal also included a private gondola trip. To be recommended.

I've eaten here several times and it's always been fantastic. But today I tried the Casimir rice for the first time and it was heavenly, thank you!

Top for a ski hut. Not only is the food, which is unusually good for a ski hut, impressive, the service was also great. Particularly positive: Here you can get a large glass of tap water for one franc - that's rare.

It's a sad juice shop. Service is terrible. They would be smarter to do self-service. Not the 20-minute queue and the lousy food. Not recommended at all. Never again.

Excellent, spicy, delicate fondue made from original Maran cheese from Arosa during night tobogganing on Thursday evening! Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. 30% of the seats remain free even without a reservation, so you can also drop by spontaneously and enjoy a delicious fondue. Big recommendation. For fondue, it's definitely way better than the Buurestübli: there we were ripped off two days ago with a terrible, inedible "fondue" and ripped off because the landlord mixed the cheese with cheap white wine to save costs - a no go, which many guests complain about in the reviews (“white wine soup”). So: stay away from the Buurestübli - but always like to go back to the Tschuggenhütte!

A great place to either have a large family lunch or just a small bite and a big drink, while enjoying the gorgeous mountain scenery at 2km up. Has a restaurant for sit-down meals , a kiosk for quick orders and a bar. Right next to sledding, skiing and foot paths

This place should be visited in Arosa. Nice food. ( I mean cheese;) ) and the platter. December 2021

Very poor food, sausage with potato felsalate was a disaster, salad with mortadella, linden, despite the beautiful weather, the grill was closed at 2.30 p.m. and the menu was very limited.

Tasty salads, aroserli and salsiz, friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, I recommend this place.

Expensive and very limited selection, grill was out because the weather forecast was supposedly bad, with sunshine and cloudless skies. Sausage cheese salad Garnished for 20.- What a joke... that's not even a children's portion... They'll never see me there again!

The food is a disgrace. Frozen schnitzel + fries. Cocoa with water and cocoa powder were also saved, i.e. hot water with cheap cream. Loading absolute dirt.

Very friendly. Well organized with lots of people too. Nice restaurant inside and plenty of space outside with a separate kiosk for a quick snack.

Very hard to manage to get table , guests just jumping in when ever got space . No host helping you for tables , always chaos’s during high season . Soup was a way too salty today.

The service staff can discuss well with the people at the next table and don't hear or notice that you actually want to order.. They don't see or hear the waving and shouting... so much has changed although not in a positive sense. There were staff who were responsible for ordering and collecting... they knew the system...

Friendly and attentive staff 🙏🏼 We were able to spend 3 sunny days outside during Corona with delicious food. Curry sausage, pizza & Arosa Wienerli was delicious. Pizza was quite good. Great lounge chairs and bean bags are available. There's still music with a DJ in the bar next door. Always happy, highly recommended! ♥️

A little too crowded and very, very hot and stuffy. I really felt sorry for the super nice and courteous service. We only had cake, it was excellent!

Ambience and service is good. But the prices are completely exorbitant. Very small portions that never fill you up but are expensive. For example, sausage and cheese salad garnished for 20.- For a large portion of fries you pay 12.- but you get a heap of misery.

The place would be really nice but one of the waiters is so unfriendly and arrogant that he ruins the whole experience. When we wanted to pay he didn't put everything on the bill and then he blamed us for not wanting to pay. When we confronted him he got really unfriendly. That's a nogo!

Greetings food, attentive and friendly service and despite there being a lot of guests, the team is very well organized and you don't have to wait too long for your food.

The staff is friendly though. Nevertheless, it is also characterized as inattentive and indifferent. The guests are coming anyway. Problems are smiled away with kindness. And it's definitely not just the high number of guests that is to blame.

Very pleasant atmosphere in the ski area with delicious food and typical highlights such as Schümli Pflümli, punch, Zwätschge Lutz, etc. We were served nicely and quickly 👍 You can also stop here without skis, because the walking paths are well prepared.

Enjoyed Schümli Pflümli outside. Fast and friendly service “from the Unterland”. Great location and also a break point for the youngest ski classes. No disturbing musical sound!! At least when we visited during the week ;-)

The Tschuggenhütte is the culinary starting point for the Arosa Humor Festival. The operation is therefore designed for efficiency, which somewhat counteracts the mountain hut feeling. Still nicely done, friendly staff and good food.

Because of Corona, the food offering was limited. Unfortunately, the whole thing was organized in such a way that you had to wait in line for about 20 minutes while the hungry team sat at a table. Other terraces have managed this better (e.g. order and pay at your seat via web app, and the food came almost immediately). -- But in other years a top place.

Great location, yummy food. Their burger is excellent and goes very well with the delicious Arosa Sunna pale ale

The organization is not good. It takes far too long because everyone has to queue. Compared to the Sit Hut, it takes too much time for food and the entire system is too slow, even compared to the pre-Corona period.

Remarkably good pizza! I went back there to eat something else and again very good! I would also like to underline very good management of places with the coronavirus.

Wonderful spot in the ski area and on the toboggan run. The Corona safety regulations are being implemented perfectly.

It was very good, you can sit down despite Corona and have to register with a QR code. Were served very quickly.

Good corona concept, you can take your drinks outside, there is a number to order food with which the food can then be picked up, and the table on the terrace is assigned to you, all with a mask of course, and you can take it off when you sit down become .

Very friendly staff, fast service (most of the time) even with the place full of people for lunch. I highlight the goulash soup, french fries, and the veg burger (photo) that comes with skin on fries, slaw salad and pickles. Together with the local fizzy drink, Rivella, of course!

Winter beach at the Tschuggenhütte is simply great. Jürgen is one of the hosts there and is very hard-working and personable. Be sure to try the veal sausage. Waffles very tasty. Reservation needed.
