Nice Indian restaurant at the upper end of Länggasse. Quietly located, it offers the opportunity to eat outside or inside. Food is very good, but in the high range. When you be prepared to wait up to an hour for your food, so getting drinks and Horsd’oeuvres. When the restaurant is busy, service is slow. Especially summer evenings the outside seating is very pleasant. The wait staff are often students and very friendly. More Indian desserts would be great. The Biriyani and other dishes are very good. Tulsi is one of our favorite places.

During my education week in Bern my colleagues recommended this restaurant. I am happy to come to know bout this location as I would like to try it again but not for take out option. I want to try the regular a la care dishes. I had on two consecutive days the lunch menu. Once with veg option and once with chicken. Honestly I liked the chicken option better. Taste was in general good, service was really fast and staff is super friendly. But what surprised me were the lunch prices. Usually for lunch you pay quite lot but my veg option was only CHF 12. What I can recommend to the restaurant is to give lunch boxes with food separation so that the dal, the rice and the chicken do not become one soup in the take away boxes. Especially when there comes also raita on top of it. From the taste perspective it's definitely a place worth to try

I had a chance to explore this option (in past Namaste and Maharaja Restaurant) along with my colleagues from India, Middle East and France recently, we enjoyed the food and of course the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
