Turnhalle in Bern

As long as there is no event that requires admission, it is always cozy here for coffee or a beer.

It used to be very cozy, colorful and a real favorite place! Since the owners took over, it has unfortunately been stuffy, unloving and unfriendly. Children and families are not welcome! A pity....

It has a nice atmosphere, everything is there to eat coffee, you can sit in the garden, there are a few different shops, I just liked it.

The previous gymnasium was an instance for 20 years. Universally popular and known beyond the city limits. A cultural highlight in the middle of the city. Then the tenants were thrown out because the owners wanted to try “something of their own with a little more art”. Now there are chairs and tables lying around carelessly in the courtyard and you trust that the previous guests will simply continue to come. Big disappointment. Why are the owners/new operators allowed to take over this Google page with all the 5-star reviews? It is no longer the gym that is advertised here. P.s.: The new bar people are all nice.

Super cozy space in Bern. The perfect refuge in winter when it gets too cold elsewhere. I can highly recommend it.

Good, cozy bar with a huge terrace. Self-service at the bar.

I feel discriminated against. As the only man in a group, I was forced to read a poster before entering. The bouncer said that they wanted to create a safe space. Immediately afterwards she pointed out to us that we should be careful about our bags and cell phones because they could be stolen. Great safe space created here.. I will avoid this place that discriminates against men in the future.

We had the chance to make music in a beautiful exhibition. It was a valuable work.

Cultural Center, where you can have a coffee, tea, a drink, an aperitif or eat something with friends, has several businesses where you can also order pizza or sandwiches to share.

A wonderful farm with a very nice self-service (camels with salad - highly recommended. A small oasis in a beautiful city.

Always good! Very comfortable to sit outside in summer. The parties are rather poor but the bar service is great! The clientele is a bit alternative, lots of students. However, less chic than most of the restaurants in the surrounding area.

There is a lift and the gym wants to call itself child-friendly, but the staff won't allow you to use the lift with a stroller.

It's okay as a detour if nothing is open, you can get here quickly. Cozy atmosphere, very spacious (logically) I think you could do more with it in terms of decoration etc.

Cozy atmosphere, unfortunately the chai wasn't very good and the waiter was a bit incompetent (we didn't have a saucer and couldn't take out our tea bag as we didn't have a spoon either).

On a Saturday evening, 9 p.m.: Reserved table for 6 for employees... I was sent away after 5 minutes, everything else was full. I also found another table for three reserved for employees... I'm not sure if you even want to work here!

Too crowded and the urgents aren't good

Always friendly, cheerful staff, fair prices and a very beautiful setting! For me it's the place to be if you want to have a cozy beer after work in Bern. There are always great parties on the weekend too.
