Good ramen in Geneva, friendly service and love the bibs they give you to not mess on yourself ! Unfortunately you cannot order wine by the bottle, only per glass.

Food was OK and a little on the expensive side for Ramens. Our first server, a lady with her slick tied hair, was not very friendly. Her replacement, another lady with curly hair, was very nice and adorable. The atmosphere was chill, because it was a Sunday.

A regular at the place, the food has always been great (ramen, bao, gyoza, etc.) but I am disappointed with the change in the menu: less plentiful, less broth, and ultimately more expensive if you want to have something similar. I think I'll look for a new ramen place in Geneva. Damage.

Atmosphere really nice, but I would say the best part are the ramen noodles. The noodles are very rich in flavour when you bite into it, and after finishing the bowl left my stomach very satisfied with the meal. I would definitely go back there next time with my friends, it was a great experience. The staff were wonderful as well.

I wonder if the taste buds of the Swiss have deteriorated after the health crisis The meat and egg in the ramen are cold, the draft is not hot enough. In any case, this is not the traditional way that ramen is prepared in Japan. Plus we paid 3.9 francs for tap water… it’s not reasonable Avoid if you're looking for authentic Japanese ramen

The dishes offered are very good and more than adequate in terms of quality/price. There is quite a wide variety and the lunch combination offer with gyoza as a starter is great (3 gyoza for 4 CHF in addition to ramen). The waitresses are great, however, charging 4 CHF for a glass of tap water because it is "a glass of filtered water", even though I have already consumed another drink for which I I paid, is a bit ridiculous. I will return, but will not consume any more drinks.

Umamido has one of the best ramen in Geneva. Love the spicy Miso ramen and the side dishes (karage and gyoza). Opens everyday non stop from lunch time including Sundays.

Went there a few times and the Signature Chef Ramen ("Tan Tan", I don't know if it changes on a rotation) was nothing but excellent. Tasty with just that bit of spice in broth, and pork was perfectly cooked and tender. My friends also tried Baos and said they were pretty good. Just as a note, beverage list is short and they have no dessert at all. Also it's just chairs-and-tables so don't expect any typical ramen shop "ambiance". Excellent food though, so if you're just looking for good ramen it's one of the best in the city !

Ramen is delicious! Spice it up (ask for the sauce)!

After testing the Umamido de Plainpalais, I told myself that I had to try this one. The atmosphere remains less warm than in Plainpalais, the service is slower and the servers are slightly unpleasant. However, the cuisine remains just as good and we always find good value for money. I still recommend this restaurant.

Awesome ramen, we had Yuzu Shayu Ramen and Kara Miso Tonkotsu Ramen(perfect spicy) with chefs recomandation, both tasted very very good, consistency, flavour, ingridiends were all on the spot. Congratulations! Thank you for your awesome ramen.

We discovered this little restaurant by chance. The ramen is very good the welcome was very good Another advantage we were served at 2 p.m.

The garnished rice bowls are a joke. Between the photo and what happens. We mainly only have rice. Just a few slices of radish cut to 0.2mm and two or three cherry tomatoes cut in half. Seriously ? I never post comments but this is a scam. At 23chf for rice without garnish it’s incredible.

Very good ramen. On the other hand, it could have been more filling, and I found it expensive for what I ate. Otherwise, a nice little restaurant with friendly staff.

It took quite a lot of back and forth from our waitress but eventually we established that the tofu ramen dish is not vegetarian but in fact, vegan. Which we were thrilled about. The flavour of the dish was great although I’d have preferred the tofu to have been cooked to give it some texture (rather than a slab of tofu just plonked on top of our ramen!). The kimchi as an extra topping was delicious. Overall positive things to say about the aesthetic of the venue, the cleanliness, friendly staff and menu variety. Pricing is the same as everything in Geneva - expensive! But this ramen warmed our souls on a rainy day!!

Incompetent Every time I order, there is an error. Real balls. Twice, you forget a supplement, but you don't forget to charge it. This is theft. And there, there’s 10cl of broth!!! Are you kidding or what? I ordered ramen, not dry noodles...

I ordered ramen. They didn’t even put a spoon or napkins...

Too bad the service can ruin everything… Loyal customers from the very beginning, our last two experiences have definitely made us angry with this establishment... No suggestion card provided, error in the orders, overcharging of the bill (which we no longer present to you under the pretext that we are paying by card) and no commercial gesture (finally, 50 cents offered!). As an excuse? " Sorry ". There were no extra people (apart from the delivery people on scooters who had priority!!). In short, what luck to have the choice of ramen restaurants in Geneva to be able to go elsewhere!

Ramen restaurant, good variety of choice, possibility of adapting according to our tastes. The broths are simply excellent, the rest of the ingredients are fresh and good. Add to that a perfect cooking of the noodles and we are in nirvana. For those who wish to keep their shirts white, oapier aprons are available, so no excuse not to try this restaurant.

First time trying this branch of Umamido - a ramen chain from Belgium that exists in Geneva since 2017. The space is much better than at the Boulevard Carl-Vogt. Food is ok. The kitchen seems to be mostly doing assembly work, so the service is fast. I had the rice and pork for a late lunch. Everything was lukewarm but tasted nice. (I'm not sure about the cherry tomatoes in this dish though.) Pricing is kind of stiff (it's Geneva) - 24 CHF for a smallish portion of pork, egg, cabbage and rice iirc. On the plus side, a half liter of sparkling water from the tap at 2.90 CHF, which is a good option compared to the double you usually pay in local restaurants for the bottled version.

Amazing food! I took the Pork Teriyaki Donburi and it was wonderful! The service was very welcoming and ready to answer all the questions we had. Top!

I love ramen = I love Umamido. We always passed in front of this restaurant, and we were always curious to try it. We went for lunch...and wow! Food is delicious, and the ramen with chef's additions is a great meal, one of the best ramens I ever had. Also, the donburi bowl was great. Service was fast, and the waiters were always smiling, a great team. The place was clean and well kept and overall relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommended 👌

Excellent Ramen, very thick and flavourful broth. The service is very friendly and the place is nice enough. It’s more on the cantine/fast food style than a proper long evening sit-down experience. Therefore, an great lunch spot. They dont accept bookings so show up early or expect to queue.

We had miso tonkatsu and kara miso tonkatsu. Chef’s recommendation is recommended. The marinated egg was soft and tasty. Kikurage mushroom in the bowl added texture. The chashu pork was very tender.

This type of restaurant is absolutely not my usual style. I stopped by chance with my son to cool off. Finally, we opted for a dish, the karaage donburi which was just EXCELLENT!!!! Chris is incredibly kind, thanks to him for the wifi. I recommend x1000. thank you

Great place to eat Ramens in Geneva, the staff is welcoming and warm, the ramen was delicious. I also had the fried chicken to share which was crispy and served in a Bao. I recommend

I stopped there on a quick lunch break and was pleasantly surprised! Tan tan Men was amazing: full of flavors and lighter than what I had elsewhere before which was really appreciated 😀 The waiters are really nice and helpful also :)

This place is is garbage. A sin to humanity this place is. We had a woman waiter who was very rude and needs a helping hand to get social skills. I'm here on holiday with mates that live here and we went to gey lunch. We spent over 20 francs each and got nothing to show for it. I am 18 years old with a massive ronnie and beard. I asked to have an overpriced Japanese bear and got denied. They told me I have to be over 16 and have id. I'm a tourist from Ireland and Im not carrying my passport out to lunch. My friend who is 17 with id ordered 2 beers and denied him because he came here with me. The woman theb processed to shout at french when I yold her I don't speak it well. The food was atrocious and expensive

Served very quickly! The ramens are excellent with the possibility of taking them to go if you are more hungry! You can feel the quality of the ingredients used. It’s great value for money. No complaints.

Highly suggested for their vegetarian ramen! They have just one choice of vegetarian ramen but the good thing is that you can customize it with different toppings as you like. I had mine with the addition of one egg, it was delicious! I also recommend their appetizers, the spinach and the kimchi were my favorite. The staff was very nice and welcoming, the place was clean and well furnitured. Ideal place for a easy lunch or dinner, great value for money.

If it wasn’t for the great food, I wouldn’t set foot in this place. The seating and space is borderline and the service is just very average.

Food is ok. We had chicken ramen, the chicken was not cooked enough but the whole thing was pretty good with fresh produce and an excellent broth. As an Uber Eats delivery person, I absolutely do not recommend ordering here. Soups will spill half the time due to unsuitable packaging.

I ordered Chef Raman and it tasted pretty good, but I still prefer the taste of Taiwan or Japan.

We are from Zurich and have tried many Ramen restaurants all over Switzerland. This is definitely one of the best places we have found that remind us of the ramen in Japan. Definitely try it if you get the chance!

The best ramen in the world 🌎 Until you open a London location I will exclusively keep coming to Geneva or Brussels. Ramen of the chef highly recommended and feel free to add some extra pork thick slices

The ramen was very good and the kimchi was very spicy which was appreciated. The only small thing to note is that they do not serve jugs of water but glasses of water, otherwise I recommend the yuzu lemonade which is very good.

Excellent address for traditional ramen. The cuisine is delicate, the menu offers a multitude of different ramen as well as other typical dishes. Ramen can be customized with many toppings and sauces. The setting is nice, very authentic and the atmosphere warm. A must-try when visiting Geneva, for all ramen lovers.

Staff at their spoon food hall outlet are rude and racist, management should do something about that before a customer throws a fit in public which is what I intend to do next time

I want to say that the Ramen in this place is Like WOW!!!! Is too good !!!! I just Love it. I ordered Kara misu Reco du Chef. If you like spicy then go for that one.

Very very good ! The ravioli & ramen are excellent. Welcoming and competent staff. Small downside: there are no gluten-free noodles (I mean in the ramen soup) but there is still an option that replaces the noodles with rice cakes. Next Time we are absolutely going to test the Bao. See you soon :)

A fantastic and close to authentic ramen experience right around the heart of Geneva! Went on a Wednesday evening around 1830, wasn't quite so crowded at all yet. Was able to get easy and attentive seating and service. Went with their classic spicy ramen option with the "full house" being the extra chashu and eggs etc. Absolutely delicious. The noodles tasted great and firm. The chashu was tender. Egg cooked perfectly. I do feel that their "extra" option should be the standard to be honest but i understand it has to come at the increased cost. Their in-house lemonade tasted fine and was acceptable. Overall, for my first Genevan ramen experience, this passed with flying colours.

Pretty tasty, but lacking that last bit of authenticity. Also the noodles were not super great. Taking the order was a bit slow, but otherwise friendly. Food arrived quickly.

Great ramen, highly recommend! A bit expensive but definitely worth it. You could definitely share a bowl for two if you don't have a big appetite. My personal favourite is the Kara miso tonkotsu ramen with the chef's recommendation (it is quite spicy though)

It was a very tasty meal! As a starter we had buns, the edamame tofu croquette is just incredible ✨ and for the main course two ramens which were just excellent 🙌 Plus with the cold season starting, a good hot ramen tastes even better 👌 We can't wait to come back 💯

The service and the staff was very good. The food is very good as well. I highly recommend this place.

1 hour of waiting in the draft, in the end we watched the parade of orders without being able to eat unlike our neighbor who arrived just after us, served, and left. Top chefs who even organized the entrance given the crowds, the ramen is very good The service at Rive, on the other hand, is bad, in particular one of the waitresses who seems lost and the manager at the cash register who is useless and in bad faith. It is one thing to take orders but it should not be to the detriment of the customers in the restaurant.

Excellent ramen place...opens early evening 18.30. Patrons are standing around. By 19.00 the place is full. No reservations I think.

Very good bowl of ramen by European standards. Overall, the tonkotsu broth was very tasty and the pork slices were tender and flavourful as well. If I had one complain would be that the noodles was just regular noodles off the shelves and not really Japanese ramen standards. Fried chicken was good as well but slightly expensive for the portion. Overall, definitely a good place for ramen!

Very good Ramen restaurant. The setting of the restaurant is rather elegant, but the furniture is not very comfortable and there is little space. The service is friendly, but seems to have slowed down a bit since the last time. The ramen and starters are excellent, with great taste and good ingredients. In terms of price, they may seem a little high considering the basic products, but it is probably also justified by the location of the restaurant. In the end it remains a very good ramen restaurant. It's not the first and it won't be the last time I eat there.

Ordered from here via Uber eats. Unfortunately the experience was rather subpar. Everything spilled out of the containers and was trapped in the bags and some of it even leaked out into the carriage bag of the delivery guy. He told me to call for a refund and went off. Unfortunately I did not receive a refund. What a pitty as it’s supposed to be good and 150chf was wasted… Don’t recommend ordering from here.

I think it's the best ramen I've ever had. The quality of the products is there. However, I am writing 1 year later and the flavors are still running through my head. I still haven't found better ramen than here

Being a regular, very disappointed with my last experience. We order 3 dishes, the first soup arrives 30 minutes before the others and it’s not even the dish ordered. And after that we hear the cooks laughing in the kitchen. A little seriousness please when we sell a soup priced at 25chf.
