I visited this establishment very recently and what a nice surprise! Everything was perfect, everything was delicious. I can't wait to repeat the experience! A huge and warm thank you to Aurora, I have rarely seen such a friendly, warm and professional waitress. Very nice experience, I recommend with my eyes closed.

Nothing to complain about. Very friendly staff, very good food. This is the 2nd time I've eaten there, the first time for a pizza and this time a pasta dish.

I have a moral duty to inform you that this is a big disappointment. It is clearly not worthy of being called Italian cuisine. It’s more of a restaurant for the French. The Spritzes were bland, the margherita pizza (the base) wasn't even on the menu, and my pizza had WAY too much mozzarella, to the point of not tasting like tomato sauce. My husband had pasta, also disappointing, bland and not as good as homemade pasta. The service is friendly, but we feel that money is the only credo and that the love of Italian cuisine is not part of the essence of the restaurant. Very very disappointed, really. If you have any decency for your stomach, don't go there.

Disastrous value for money… Good food but given the prices and the quantities on the plates it’s just not possible… 33.- for 4 spoons of pasta and 25.- for a small pizza, it’s completely ridiculous 😳😳😳 Nice atmosphere but very noisy.

A cuisine by and for the heart. This restaurant is a treasure in Lausanne. A short, effective, creative card. The decor takes you into a vintage Little Italy, all decorated by a top team! Happiness on the plate: special mention to the truffle pasta, the best I have eaten in Switzerland. Grazie la squadra for treating me from day one!

The pizza was good, but the size was small, even for Swiss standards. Charging 27 CHF for a small pizza is insane (especially when it costs you almost nothing to make!). Service was good, very much based off of Big Mamma in France!

The food is good but the prices are a little expensive, also the wine, especially the carafe of water, costs 1 franc.

I highly recommend to try pasta here, very fresh with tasty and fancy sauces. Very good service and kindly. It has a great atmosphere. The cheese cake is fantastic!

the decoration is incredible, with its soft lights and candlelight. The staff is welcoming and ensures that the evening runs smoothly, which is very pleasant. I really liked the genovese raggu, however my favorite was the tiramisu which was airy, tasty and just succulent.

Located in La Riponne, this Italian restaurant is very welcoming. Decorations made entirely second hand, plus their subdued lighting offers a very relaxing atmosphere. The food is very good, my time for pizzas I prefer when the dough is thinner, so that you can hold it in your hand without it leaking! (That's just my opinion). The service is top notch! I recommend.

Very good experience. Waitresses present and helpful. I had truffle and button mushroom pasta and it was delicious. The truffle was very present and perfectly complemented the creamy mushroom sauce. The atmosphere is very nice, I will come back

Wonderful place! Super central and convenient for parking. We arrived by motorbike so we parked practically in front but for cars there is a large underground car park. We had a pizza, really good, and the tuna calamarata. Burrata as an appetizer. Great atmosphere! Compliments

The local radio was playing loudly in the restaurant which is always a bad sign (feels like a mcdonalds). The food was just ok, but so expensive and is served extremely fast which makes it feel cheap (expensive italian fast food if you will). It was my second time there and was hoping that my first experience was not going to be repeated, however I was dissapointed again. Its a shame really because it could be so much more... My girlfriend has dubbed this place her favorite worst restaurant in switzerland. If I were to give my key improvement points, it would be: - make a real music playlist and not just the local radio (seriously) - review your prices if the quality is going to stay the same or improve your quality if you want to charge as much (but good luck because it is just pasta...)

Be careful, they confuse the price of pasta to share. We always paid the price of a portion that we shared with the reduction of a few francs on it. Last time they charged us twice the price, so 72 francs for a pasta dish. When we tried to explain it to them, they didn't want to know anything. Very dishonest, too bad because it's a nice place but to avoid!

New test a few days ago. The pizza is undercooked. The dough is bland as are the products that make it up. All this is certainly fresh but we get bored while eating. The service is friendly. The place, usually too noisy and tiring, was only half full on this Tuesday afternoon. A sign ? The prices are clearly excessive for the service provided.

Family meal with our 1 year old son. Succulent dishes, beautiful menu of dishes at affordable prices, very cozy and Italian atmosphere, everything we love! Impeccable service, very friendly and was great with our son! We highly recommend this restaurant! Plus the chef's name is our son, isn't that wonderful?! 😊 We will come back for sure!

We go to them regularly and each time it's a real treat. Very friendly welcome, fast and efficient service and in terms of the kitchen on each visit we make very nice discoveries (whether in terms of starters, dei primi, or desserts) with a very good quality menu which changes regularly. A real little corner of Italy. In absolute terms, one of the best addresses in Lausanne in terms of value for money.

Pasta dish with truffles, and the one with shrimps were excellent (a little too "al dente" it seemed to me). Tiramisu on the other hand, not the best. Pleasant atmosphere and very good service. But not enough choice, and a little expensive all the same.

The price is very expensive compared to the quantities served. The limoncello offered at the end is a very nice touch, but the taste leaves something to be desired. The positive point remains the decoration of the restaurant as well as its terrace. The service is neutral, nothing more.

You have to come for the concept, the Insta photos, more than for the food and the authenticity of the cuisine. I've been there several times but I never felt like I was in an Italian restaurant. There are much better things in Lausanne.

Two days ago, I went to have dinner with some colleagues and 2 of us got a strong food intoxication with an episode of vomits. They should really check the quality of the food they serve. It was a horrible experience, definitely I'm not coming back again.

Unfortunately there were A lot of free tables. however, when I asked to be seated she said come back after one hour.. I waited for a while outside and saw a lot of people with no reservation walk in and get seated .. it was my last day in the city so I was very disappointed to not try the place .. but I’m glad that they showed me their true colours as I wouldn’t want to spend my money in a place that discriminates.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say that the place is really charming. The decoration is superb, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable, which really added to our experience. The portions were generous, but the only downside was the high noise level and close proximity of the tables, which could make conversation a little difficult. Despite this, it was an exotic and pleasant experience overall.

It's difficult to rate this restaurant, the atmosphere is really cool for a Riponne spot, the decor is warm and welcoming especially in summer, the staff is very friendly. Always had a good meal but the person with me received a dish of pasta that was way too salty. With all the best will in the world it's impossible to rate an Italian cuisine establishment that messes up a pasta dish. Try anyway, to err is human.

I came at 2:00, and it was already closed. They say 2:30, but at 2:00 they won’t allow you to sit. Very wrong!

We had a very pleasant evening at this place. A very trendy spot to eat some delicious Italian food. This garden restaurant (they also have indoor seating) has a stylish decor and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The vegetarian dishes, though few, were very good. Their delicious limoncello was the perfect way to conclude our dinner. A perfect spot to hang out with friends.

Super popular and for good reasons! The menu is a little smaller than in other restaurants but it is 100% sure that everything is good. The decor is incredible, if the weather is nice enough, I recommend the terrace! Absolutely worth visiting!

Magnificent place with a super pleasant outdoor terrace for a summer evening and very well decorated. The dishes were delicious and homemade (pasta and pizza dough). Special mention for the cheesecake as a delicious dessert!

Beautiful place and very very friendly staff and top notch cuisine

We had the ndujia pasta, a soft Calabrian sausage, generally very spicy. The pasta had nothing spicy, nor any bits of sausage. It looked like pasta with a basic tomato sauce. The dessert was good. Nice server. Nice setting. We pay a lot for the decor, not the quality of the dishes.

This was an amazing Italian restaurant! The pesto pizza, truffle tartar, and pasta were all outstanding. The staff was exceptional. Highly recommended!

To begin with, the place is really great and well located. The terrace is really charming and when there are people (which is often the case) the place is very friendly. On the other hand, regarding the food, I found it very very average. I took the seafood pasta, no flavor, bland sauce, seafood straight from the freezer and all for 33 CHF. My partner had a pizza for 28 CHF which was better in taste despite the dough which had the consistency of a biscuit. It's a real shame, because they boast of their quality products but in the dish you don't feel them and they aren't highlighted. Despite everything, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Too bad the kitchen doesn't follow behind.

I have visited this place a couple times during the last few months, and I strongly recommend it for both the unique atmosphere in the city centre and the kindness of the staff. The food is a good taste of the Italian tradition - with a mild French-Swiss adaptation, and the portion sizes are above the expectations, especially for the pasta dishes. The staff is very welcoming and prompt for every request. Will go back again.

06/28/2023 // An experience not to be repeated. Once we arrive there, the waitress does not take the full order from our table and we only end up eating at 2. Instead of 4. The other two plates arrived later. As well as the drinks. Once the plates have all arrived, we pay 26.- for a plate of pasta so that it ends up being “normal” and nothing exceptional. Following this, we asked for cheese for the table to put on our “pasta” which was edible and took us 5 minutes to wait as well. Finally we eat without cheese… Despite decent cuisine (for pizza), I do not recommend and will not return.

I genuinely thought that because of the high prices, the food would be something special. There were ants on our table outside. These prices are for a more sophisticated place. There is nothing special about the pasta, the sea-fruit pasta was soooooo average, you can feel like the fish is a frozen box they got and then they heated it! And the tartuffo was also average. The food wasn’t even hot. The tiramisu is tasteless. It’s supposed to be sweeter and with more alcohol in it. I’m disappointed as I was craving Italian food.

Nice atmosphere and plenty of tables outside. Good ingredients but tasteless food. Etna pizza was very salty. Tiramisu was without adequate coffee flavor. Good place to enjoy a drink outside when the weather is nice but I do not recommend for dining.

Excellent!! The pasta is to die for... a pure treat. The service is impeccable with involved waiters and waitresses. And a little extra: it’s perfectly suited for people with gluten intolerance.

Amazing freshly made pasta with all the sauces. Antipasti - delicious. Desserts - mmmmmmm. It is always packed, so we tried to reserve online, there was no spots, but we went there as they keep a couple of tables free for walk-ins. The terrace must be nice when it's a bit warmer.

The setting is cozy. The team is young and very present, a little invasive. As a starter, the octopus was good, but nothing more. The orange had nothing to do with it. The fennel had a good texture. The “sauce” lacked body. Lukewarm. The dishes were successful but were not very generous. Dear. The cheesecake was quick and delicious. Not very beautiful and it could have been presented colder. Gigantic. I had the impression that the starter, main course and dessert were the same size. I expected a better experience, considering how armored it is. Good all the same.

Unfortunately, the service was completely overwhelmed - we had no main courses after 1.5 and the waiter was not accommodating but rather rude. Mozzarella was also out - at an Italian restaurant! Unfortunately no longer recommended. There are enough alternatives around it - Salukki for pizza and Bussone for everything else

Great pizza restaurant in Lausanne. It isn't as easy to find good food in Lausanne as at home and this place ranks as one of the best places I've visited. I will be visiting again!
