Un R de famille in Genève

We went to brunch on Sunday lunchtime. There was a wide choice of savory and sweet dishes, each equally good. Place offering a games room for children.

The concept of the restaurant is good, but if I have to note the quality of the dishes, the decor and the layout, it is rather average for this price... The children's corner is very simple and small, but certainly it has the merit of existing. We saw the nanny... I imagine that for parents who are a little desperate this place is nice, but if you have to accompany your friends with children somewhere, clearly I don't recommend this place. In the end the children were not looked after by the nanny. The kitchen is open, and therefore children can go in... There is a staircase to access the games room, I have seen less dangerous spaces... In short, for this price, the decor, the space and the quality of the dishes are really not up to par. But this restaurant has the merit of existing and of allowing young parents to go out with their children.

Great place, on the other hand I find that the price per adult is a little expensive, even if it is justified with the choice of dishes in the buffet but it may be too much in the end, less choice but also quality and a price per adult under 40.-

the only time still available on online reservation was 1 p.m. for Sunday brunch even a week before. I booked so for 1 p.m. no choice the same day of the brunch they called me at 12:45 p.m. to tell me that my reservation was for 11:45 a.m. and that the buffet closed at 2 p.m.!?! so when arriving at the scheduled time at 1 p.m. the choice of food was still very limited so still a little disappointed 😞

We went to eat for lunch, original atmosphere which was a change from the ordinary and very responsive servers. We see that the menu is thoughtful and uses seasonal ingredients. The food is good, especially the beetroot risotto but the spinach sauce for the gnocchi was unfortunately not to my taste because it was not seasoned enough in my opinion.

Simple and cozy atmosphere. Good service. However, it lacked choice with a little more meat in my opinion (only one choice of meat if you don't count the one with a few slices of ham). We see that the ingredients are quality, and the cooking is well done apart from the fact that all the dishes were lukewarm. The cold leeks (I imagine that was done on purpose) not great… Very good bread

We had a great time as a family. Small downside for the kitchen, we found it a little expensive for the quality of the products..

We ordered 2 starters for my colleague, a warm goat cheese salad and a soup. For my part, a hot goat's cheese salad as a main course for 25.- the only difference with the starter there was a hot goat's cheese toast and more for 12.- more than the starter the person who took care of us did not understood nothing and didn't listen Not For the price there are much better elsewhere

It's not my habit to mention mixed experiences but since the restaurant asked me twice to leave a review and these are taken seriously and count for them, so here it is: We had already had a very good meal in this restaurant (2-3 years ago) but this time, the service struggled and one of the dishes ordered did not live up to our expectations. As for the service, taking orders was a bit tedious and we had to ask 3-4 times for a carafe to accompany our glasses of wine. For the dishes, I had a delicious parsnip soup, no complaints, and, for me, half a room of hot goat's cheese (15.00) and the person who accompanied me had the same salad as a main course (25.00). However, the two plates contained more or less the same quantity of salad and a (small) toast with a piece of goat's cheese for me and two small toasts for the main version. The waiter told us – this is what I understood – that he would have a second course of toast. But he didn't come back (3-4 different people attended our table). The salad was just sort of leaves, curly and crunchy with not enough dressing. That's it for the comment. Maybe it was just that day that there were hiccups, or maybe the restaurant changed management.

Great except that we came specially for a dish. Arriving at 12:30 p.m. with two little ones, the dish in question was already gone. Damage !!

Very nice taste experience during a Vietnam themed evening. A well-balanced meal with attention to detail, full for the eyes and the mouth. Impeccable service. Only two downsides: the soup was too spicy and the cassava cake was a little dry, it would have been nice combined with a berry coulis or other. Highly recommended :)

Local and fresh products always prepared with originality and taste, each time a pleasant discovery. Thank you to the whole team who really makes an effort to offer quality with finesse. The terrace at the back is quiet, you have the impression of being in the countryside.

Service to improve: the waiter forgot to place the order, his colleague in turn made a mistake in the order and said that it was not his fault. The first waiter does not apologize and only announces that it is cooking, in the end 1 hour of waiting for 3 boiled eggs... You have to wait until the moment of the bill to have an excuse to the approximate service.

Unpretentious buffet but hey, it just lacks diversity in the desserts! The setting is good, the children's playroom is great. On the other hand, what can we say about the reception?? An unpleasant team! Not one to catch up with the other! An order error, no problem if the staff apologizes but that was clearly not the case!! Too bad, this place surely relies on these achievements and the team makes no effort.

When looking for a place to eat with children, one expects poor or very average food and I quite liked this place, the food was very delicious, the service was a little slow but very friendly, the manager is very unfriendly, the restaurant has a very nice terrace. Nice for the summer and they do have a small area for the children with toys and things to color.

If the 0 star function existed, I would have put it. The last time I was there, there were two pest controllers who were installing rat traps in their kitchen and the kitchen team was rushing around looking for rats while they were on duty.

More than a restaurant, a warm place where you enjoy spending time! Everything on the plate is good! Proposals that tempt you and have taste. And the icing on the cake is that children are more than welcome with dedicated areas and of course good meals for them too. Well thought out, this place is to be recommended with your eyes closed. A big congratulations to the chef and his team.

Basic and uninteresting cuisine with high prices.

The quality is gradually but steadily declining unfortunately. My last meal there might very well be my last meal there since there seems to be a complete lack of interest in patron satisfaction.

Great restaurant! Not only is the food good, with local and seasonal products (and always vegetarian options), the dishes are homemade, well presented and generously served, but the welcome is always friendly, they remember you 'once to the next and call you by your first name! In the summer, the lovely interior courtyard is very pleasant. One of my favorite addresses in Geneva!

I went to this restaurant thinking that it would have a little play area since this is how they market themselves. I was incredibly disappointed because there is only a play place on Sunday brunches for families (which are very expensive). I therefore did not stay to have lunch but I did see that the kids menu was any adult dish. I don’t see how my kid would eat any of the food on the menu so no kids area during the week and kids are expected to eat like adults sitting down at the table in a restaurant that is supposedly super “kid-friendly”. Very disappointing.

We went there following a Facebook ad “a family restaurant”. Breathe parents, a nanny is available, free activities for children, WHAT A JOKE! We arrive, already a mediocre welcome, the couple next to us asks where the promised nanny is, they simply answer that there isn't one... We ask where the play area is, no play area. No excuses, no explanations. Nothing is made for children and the food has no seasoning, bland. Before leaving we asked what the people around us thought, all disappointed and angry. It's a scam, don't be fooled. INADMISSIBLE

Great! Special character of the place which is very warm, especially the terrace with these colors and the few plants from the vegetable garden. Nothing to say about the quality of the dishes. I ate very well there and all the staff were friendly. I recommend and I will return!

- At this price there is not enough choice at the buffet, not to mention the mediocre quality of the dishes. - Once the dish is finished, they do not replace it. - Not many choices of desserts. Just one or two cakes quickly finished and not replaced. It is the law of first come, first served. - just one nanny for 20 children is clearly insufficient.

My family was embarrassed in an authoritarian way that the room manager spoke with us and his colleagues. I advise no one to reserve this brunch.

Very disappointed by the reaction of the chef! Several times found "small residents" not invited and unappetizing in the dishes...and he did not take responsibility and did not apologize but put the blame on his staff! Not professional at all! Too bad because the setting is nice and the staff charming.
