The restaurant is simply furnished. Overall the food is excellent, especially the chicken leg and Nai wong bao. The dimsum was served hot and delicious. I personally love it here.

It was alright, mediocre Chinese food in Zurich.

My favorite is the steamed pork ribs. The rice rolls and stir-fried beef ribs are delicious. The chicken feet are a bit too small. The carrot cake was average, and the barbecued pork buns and custard buns were too sweet. Spiritual Cantonese people are satisfied✌️

Loved it. We had the Char Siu Zhao Fan and the Mui Choi Kau Yuk. The flavors were nice and we liked the sauce with the juicy meat☺️

The dim sum is just great, especially the octopus ball! The staff is very nice and professional. We made this a regular place to eat out.

The Tom Yum soup we ordered was extremely salty, we had to pick out the ingredients in it and ate it with the fried rice we ordered. The soup was totally left untouched. The skin of the dumplings was too thick and hard to our liking. The taste was not up to our expectation also. Fried rice and lotus glutinous rice were decent though.

Can’t count the times I walked past this, what a miss!! Made up for it finally and the food is amazing, service friendly and speedy as well. Many more things I wanna try in the menu. As a dessert we had the sesame dumplings, the best I’ve had ever anywhere.

A very nice Chinese restaurant with a good variety. Was there on a weekday evening and it was a bit quiet. The food was really good and the waiter was even kind enough to not charge us for a bread that a bit dry. The staff is very friendly and will be coming back again.

Very cool restaurant with authentic Chinese food! Price is relatively more than okay and the service is always friendly. My insider tip for all Europeans: try the pig's ears! They're really great as an appetizer.

The food was good. The waiter attentive and friendly. There were two of us there. The food was served at a staggered time, but the time during which it was served was quite short, so it didn't break the mold. The ambience is simple but appropriate. A large monitor mounted on the wall in the dining room entertained us with a silent film showing how food is prepared in China.

With Uncle 7 I have FINALLY found a restaurant with authentic Cantonese food. An absolute highlight for me and an insider tip for anyone who loves real Chinese food! Service was very friendly.

The location near the Bahnhof in a quieter part of Zurich was much appreciated and the service was friendly and attentive. You could eat out on the shady pavement in good weather. The food however was average. Probably the glutinous rice balls and charsiu rice noodle soup were the better dishes in our order.

As a tourist from Hong Kong, their fried rice is about 8.5 marks.. and it is freshly made… I know some people may say they are not 100% Hong Kong style, but what should we expect when we are in Switzerland 🇨🇭 Happy that I walked a long way to try ✌️

We were in Zurich over Pentecost and discovered this great authentic restaurant. The meal was delicious. The waitresses were very attentive and always friendly and helpful despite the full house. My son fell in love with the dessert (coconut balls) and my daughter couldn't get enough of the wonton soup 😀 The prices are completely okay. All in all great and always worth a visit.

This restaurant is just always so comforting and very authentic. I always love to come back. I would appreciate though if there was a vegetarian soup option and if the TV wouldn't be on all the time, as it's a bit distracting.

Nothing fancy at all but just very good dim sum. We had quite a large selection of dim sum (some of my companions had never eaten dim sum before) and even though we were full, we went for more. Given the location and quality of the food, it was fairly easy to get a table and the price was very reasonable too.

My go-to place when I crave Chinese food. The dim-sum I tried are very tasty. My main dish favourites are the "57. rind nudeln"

Good taste. Takeaway from the buffet including a drink for CHF 15.- It's a shame that the price has already increased twice in the last 12 months. The lack of variety in the buffet dishes could be criticized.

As a Cantonese, this became my favorite Cantonese restaurant in Zurich/Switzerland. My dim sum cravings have been satisfied! You can find most of the classics, and we ended up getting multiple rounds since we were hungry. Around 140CHF to feed 4 people with drinks and dessert (2 who eat a lot and 2 who don’t). I’d expect to spend 35-45 CHF per person to eat your fill 😊 Definitely coming again 👍🏼

Simple good chinese food and great to talk

Went there on a Tuesday afternoon and found it’s closed. No clear label for the schedules.

Delicious dim sum, had a meal with my pals sometime back and was happy with the food and service.

The meat was of poor quality, which is a shame for 50 francs.

Some of the dishes seem to be pre-made and taste average. Excellent environment, friendly boss and professional service. Barely a passing score of 60/100

Delicious dim sum and good Chinese food, with plenty of tables, and extremely kind staff. Late on a weekday night, most seats were available. Unlike in summer, no outdoor seats (way too cold for that!). Good selection of dim sum, which was very tasty. Beef with black pepper was also good. Quantity and prices slightly above other Chinese restaurants. The staff was very attentive and nice. Overall a good experience. Second time there, and probably not the last.

MUST-GO restaurant in Zurich. Everything was outstanding, and we only stayed Zurich 2days and went here twice. One thing I really miss in Zurich is the red soup in the pic.

Authentic Cantonese restaurant My Hong Kong friends speak very highly of this restaurant, and I finally had time to visit. The owner is from HK and super friendly. We had fried noodles, har gao and some other dim sum. Even though the décor is a bit faded, they were playing Cantonese music in the 2000s. It brought me back to the Hong Kong that I grew up. We ended up paying around CHF 30/person, and I find it every reasonable given the quality and the location. I will definitely be back next time.

Lowest rating is 1 star and if possible I would give minus 10 stars. The reasons are as following. 1. We ordered a lot of food here. What they did was to charge 1 more shrimp roll and Turnip cake which we did not get. 2. Expensive as hell and not even Chinese. I would say this is imbiss style in German. Nothing is fresh. Go elsewhere to have your diner if you want a more authentic experience.

The hot pot is really an experience. Wonderful ingredients, friendly service. We had Christmas dinner with the company there.

Pre-ordered the hot pot and loved it. Huge plate of veggies, great broth, high quality meat, super friendly service. Kid-friendly and great atmosphere. Price is great for quality and amount of food. Will definitely go there again.

The pork belly is very good, the price is right, and the service is good.

The food is excellent. Uncle 7 is very friendly and we enjoy the hospitality of this restaurant. Price are reasonable also and taste is delicious and fantastic. Try his Curry Beef and fried noodles and you will not regret it.

The cooking method is not authentic, the rice rolls are terrible, but the shrimp dumplings are acceptable. The rest are all made for Gui Lao's taste. Better yourself! The chef hasn't arrived yet!!! Swiss Chinese food is probably like this, the more authentic chefs have retired.

Excellent Cantonese food very close to the Central Train Station in Zurich. The dim sum and regular dishes are authentic and the service is friendly.

We had a hot pot and the meat left something to be desired.. not very fresh and difficult to chew.

Food was quite average for the amount they charge. Also it was very salty and very less quantity. One glass of water cost around 5.2 chf which is very costly.

Dim sums are just horrible. You spend days putting out food for people and this is the quality you achieve? Is the food even fresh? You can tell from the color how bad the quality of dim sums was. The rest was heavy, drenched in oils and honestly made me nauseous eating.. very sad

Terrible. Had my hopes high due to these reviews, but oh my gosh. Having lived in Asia for 2 years it’s easy to taste the good from the bad. The char siu was terrible, can’t even call it char siu.. it’s whatever meat that was marinated for a bit with some non char siu like sauce. The buns were not fresh at all, obviously not fresh! Strange colouring on it which implies it was frozen just a few minutes ago. This summaries many eateries in Zurich, underwhelming but still at a high price. These reviews are surely (with all due respect) from people who have never tasted good Asian food. The workers are all Chinese, they should be ashamed displaying their native cuisine in such a lazy way.

We should have read the reviews before we came, not after. I can only confirm what many others have said; food is disappointing (both dim sums and even the sweet and sour chicken that was very dry - meaning frozen and old chicken pieces). Even the white rice was bad; obviously cooked a long time ago despite our visit at noon lunchtime. The tea was bitter too. It seems like the restaurant always went for the cheapest ingredients they could find; frozen, or low quality. Won’t be coming back even though service was friendly and place was clean.

Went there spontaneously and for the first time, and were pleasantly surprised at how fine and authentic the dim sums were, and the water spinach was also very good! Thanks!

This is an excellent restaurant with a good selection of dishes located within walking distance of the main train station on Zurich. There is an extensive dim sum menu. I enjoyed the stewed pork belly. There is outdoor seating available. Staff speak both Mandarin and Cantonese..

Very good traditional Chinese kitchen. Dumplings and soups are very tasty and feel different from every other restaurant in Zurich. Will come back to try the hot pot!

The Restaurant is located in a quiet area, the food tastes good and the price is very affordable. Just 13,50 Fr. for Lunch Takeaway which is a good price for Zurich.

A disappointing experience! We went for the dim sum but the shrimp rolls tasted like reheated from frozen, poor quality and dry. We also only received 1 lotus leaf roll though the menu pictured 2 and were charged for a 10 franc water when we asked for tap water specifically wouldnt recommend.

Quite disappointed, the dishes just don’t look or taste authentic though it tastes Chinese, but far from the names of these classic dishes suggest. I still think the spicy fish soup and fried eggplants are much better at Beyond restaurant by Paradeplatz. Even dimsums are substandard, Hong Xi on the other hand has really top quality dimsums. Last visit for me.

Main dishes (water spinach and mapo tofu) were fine but dumplings were very disappointing. Especially this dumpling we ate had very strong and distinct flour taste. Hargau was okish. I would not recommend eating dumpling here :( The staff (I guess the owner) was friendly and the restaurant was quite spacious and clean.

Buffet very fresh, tasty and cheap, also to take away! I once ordered the Cha Siu with noodle soup a la carte and can only recommend it! I will come again and try more Chinese specialties.

Humble spot about 8 mins walk from HB station, decor is minimal, but cleanliness and food are at top notch. We had a great time chatting with the friendly servers whose origins are German, Vietnamese and Chinese. They make best efforts to ensure food suits our taste buds. Appreciate that.

You can find one of the few delicious tea restaurants in Switzerland, a Chinese food desert! I’m very satisfied. It’s not a bad idea to come all the way from the French Quarter to have a meal! The boiled series and dim sum are both good, but the others are even better.

First time I came here the dumplings were frozen inside. The second time I tried this restaurant they let me wait over 45 minutes for the food. Inacceptable. I will definetly not come here again.

Very pleasantly surprised! Chinese restaurants can be quite variable but this place was wonderful on all accounts. Food delicious, service very kind and welcoming, decor and atmosphere great. Ordering in English was not a problem.

The taste of the dishes was okay, but the dim sum meat was not fresh. . . Very stale. . . It feels like it has been a bit sour after being stored for a long time.

Unfortunately, the quality of some dishes has decreased, which doesn't stop me from continuing. Most of it is just great! And the service leaves nothing to be desired!

Dim sum? They are frozen products from Asian store. (I bought it before therefore the moment it was served I was shocked) taste bad and the pork rib was slightly sour, i had a bite and couldn't continue eating. Perhaps their fried rice or vege or meat dishes are better, but i think there are better Chinese restaurants in Zurich.
