Excellent third wave coffee shop. Very original iced cappuccino made in 3 steps, I recommend you try!

Overall good coffee. The employee was a little bored and not really interested. Real strong (not friendly) coffee and cappuccino. Would not come here again.

And the visits to the roastery continue and so do the recessions. This time we went to Basel and had to decide between a place at the counter or Togo. But let's take a closer look. ambience; One way to buy coffee is at the window/on the street. It's really charming, but there's more and more environmental concern (I think) and you can't avoid seeing the tons of ToFo cups and the few ReCup cups. I hope purchasing behavior changes the relationship. The window is beautifully designed in the upper area and the concept also extends inside. Here the customer is in a cell phone store. When it's not so busy, you can have a coffee at the bar here. But be careful, there is no space for more than 4 people here. Service: The service was ok. I don't know anything bad to say, but nothing outstanding either. Coffee: There was a macchiato. It had a strong, strong body with an interesting aftertaste (which I couldn't interpret). Overall, that would be 3.5 stars for me compared to coffees from other roasters. Conclusion: ToGo if there is no other roastery nearby, but otherwise try another one.

I'd say you get your best and correctly made flat white here! Opening hours could be better though.

I was very happy when ViCAFE arrived in Basel. Easily and consistently the best coffee in the area (whether it is at Marktplatz or next to the station). Their flat white is on the milky side (but I am sure they will add less milk if you ask).

I like to drink my “Gorilla” double espresso here. Really great roast, cooked to perfection. This is how espresso is fun.
