He was prompt with my referral and familiar with the surgeons work making me feel at ease about seeing them and letting me know if we didn't clique he would insist I get another opinion and was happy to refer me to another surgeon.

He listens intently when you voice your concerns and he makes it his mission to address any issues you may have.. You can count on him to be your healthcare advocate! He is truly a blessing

Besides safely helping me deliver my children, he successfully performed a few needed surgical procedures on me and gave excellent post-operative care. I will miss him terribly when he retires.

Dr. Von Almen is an incredible physician. He is kind, thorough, efficient, and caring. He takes his time to explain things and elicit your feedback, and he and his staff are incredibly responsive if you have concerns. Another thing that really impresses me about him is that even being so knowledgeable and experienced, he will still take the time to consult with other physicians to make sure that he is providing the top level of care to you, though I am sure he already knows the answer beforehand. You would be hard-pressed to find someone better and his retirement will certainly leave big shoes to fill.
