I would never have thought that this restaurant would be so well positioned with food and great service and a great location.

Absolutely one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. The Patty was cooked perfect with the cheese and the sauce, coming from a Texan I wish we had this burger back home. The atmosphere upon entering was very welcoming and friendly, I would most definitely recommend to everyone!!

Randomly passed by this pub one evening and decided to check it out for dinner. The owner is very welcoming and the burgers and beers were great. Also had very friendly people and dogs.

Very friendly and accommodating owner. I had problems with my camper, the owner gave my sewage system a good flush and then served me a world-class burger and beer. 10/10 would let me work on it again

This place is amazing! We finally got to our Airbnb after over 30 hours of traveling and we stopped and had the Wydi burger and it is incredible! Definitely worth the stop in!

Niklas is a great guy who made us fries after the kitchen closed cause he could tell we were hungry. Very positive and inviting - exactly what you want from a pub. Great music and atmosphere to boot.

The best bar in Wilderswil!! We stopped by this bar after seeing the good reviews on Google and it did not disappoint at all!! The boy couldn't be more kind and friendly, even though he arrived a little late and with the kitchen closed, he got ready to cook so we could have dinner. He was also interested in knowing how we were doing on several occasions. We ordered two burgers, both very delicious. There is a good quality price relation! I totally recommend it if you spend a few days in Wilderswil :) Thank you !!

A neighborhood pub with a rich alcohol menu and a basic but tasty food menu (hamburgers, potatoes and such). Excellent beer, not bad if you're in the area and don't want to go far. A young and smiling team that tries to please. Note that the kitchen closes at 8pm so you should arrive early if you are hungry.

I’m not usually one to leave restaurant reviews, but this is seriously the BEST burger I’ve had in any European country and better then 9 out of 10 American burger joints

We are a group of 12, stopped there for lunch. We were told that if we all order food it will take a long time for everyone to get their food and it wouldn't be all at the same time. So we just ordered beer and 4 burgers with fries and onion rings to share for a quick snack. The burgers were amazing 😋 we appreciate knowing in advance that it would be a long time to get enough food for 12 people there, because we had train to catch after and the 4 burgers were big enough to cut them into smaller pieces for a snack.

My family and I spent a couple unexpected nights nearby, at the Hotel Bären. Always great to find a welcoming place within walking distance! We were greeted warmly by Niklas, the owner, and thoroughly enjoyed his conversation and Alternative Rock & Roll playlist! Highly recommend this little gem on a quiet street in a beautiful mountain village! Wishing the partners lots of success in this new endeavor!

Had the most amazing experience here tonight! There was only one staff since it was Christmas Eve but he was extremely accommodating. The cheeseburger and raclette on bread were delicious. I ordered the mulled wine for myself and it hit just the right spot! The ambience and music were also suited for a chill and fun night. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for great food and an even greater service! If you are a big party, I highly suggest you message them in advance to preorder. This would help them prepare your food better and faster.

Visiting from the US. Popped in to see Switzerland play in the World Cup. It is a great little pub. Had a blast with the locals. Everybody was great. The beer was cold and the food was also great. I had a burger and I could only finish half. It was huge. I highly suggest this pub. The only bummer was Switzerland was loosing 4-1 when I left. Gordon from Texas

We were traveling all through Switzerland for a vacation (during December) and always look for local pubs- this was IT!!! Very nice atmosphere, beautiful inside area & GREAT burger. The owner cooks it all himself and takes pride in kind, personable service. Locals welcomed us in and we had a great time watching the World Cup.

My wife and I agreed for the first time 😁 these were the best burgers 🍔 we have ever eaten, super nice young man who served us. Price performance super satisfied

Fantastic Wildburger and beer! Definitely hit the spot after a long bike ride in the mountains. Service was great and very friendly. Chef/owner very attentive and had a great time taking to him! Best of luck for the ski season. Will definitely eturn next time in the Interlaken region.

My husband and I went here 2 nights in a row while staying in Wilderswil. The bartenders were friendly and helped us with our hiking plans for the next day. The beer and food were very affordable compared to other places in the area. And the locals were welcoming and taught us how to play nails. Great place to relax at after a long day of traveling around. Would come back to Wilderswil just to hang out here!

A lovely warm welcome here and the house burger was fabulous. Sit outside and enjoy the views eating your burger, tasting some Swiss cider. Perfect evening

We had the most wonderful experience at Wydi. The pub had both indoor and outdoor seating areas and had a fun and relaxing vibe. My wife and I loved the music and the owner was incredibly inviting and we enjoyed great conversation with the staff and locals. The staff speak multiple languages and we felt completely at home. The food was brilliant! Certainly our favourite dining experience in the Interlaken region. Rarely do I review but the team here deserve the 5 stars.

Great pub with a massive UK feel to me and my wife after spending the last 17 years in Scotland. Owners doggy kicking about and dogs are very welcomed and all. Bar well “furnished” with liquors and beers. Amazing burger and wedges freshly prepared in front of you. Guy deserves a lot of credit for that. I can only try to imagine the ribs… Next time I fall out with my wife once in Wilderswil I will defo stay there until he locks the doors. God bless mate and I hope life will treat you well!

A surprising and delicious place on the way from Lake Toon to Grindelwald. We were looking for a place to eat on the way and arrived at a pub and restaurant. The place is nicely decorated, a nice guy greeted us with a smile and immediately explained that the menu is short: hot dogs, hamburgers and ribs (pork). It has many spirits, cocktails and a variety of beers. We took 4 dishes of ribs with potatoes and it was very tasty!! It's worth planning a pass through this wonderful place!! On 2022-08 we paid 100 euros for 4 dishes + 4 soft drinks 💶. recommended!!!

This place was amazing. The owners are so welcoming and kind. The atmosphere has such a nice feel to it and really makes you feel comfortable. Niklas made us one of the best burgers I've ever had. He even stayed late talking with us amd having a great time. 10/10 would recommend if in the area.

If you are in the area visiting make sure you stop in here. Great food and atmosphere, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. My burger was cooked on the grill outside perfectly and the owner knows his beers.

We stumbled on this gem and was greeted by Summer (the cute pup, amazing hostess) right off our flight and the start to our vacation. Jörg was beyond friendly and made us feel welcome! Great drinks and tasty food. Super relaxed vibe and came back many times throughout our trip. We will come back again on our next trip to Interlaken!

New owners. And I could tell a difference the day we walked in. Young and hip giving respect to all that walked in the door. Good afternoon sun with a cold one in hand.. this place will continue to grow into a proper institution of Wilderswil for sure. Pop in and see fir yourself!

Stumbled upon this gem accidentally, it’s definitely off the beaten path but well worth a visit. Been abroad for nearly a decade without family until I found Niklas and the Wydi. Small, quaint and warm. Looking forward to my next visit 🙏🏻
