A horrible experience, very disappointed. We had booked for 2 people online. Once there they told us that there was no reservation. Then after consideration they found us a place. I specified that the meat be well cooked. I receive my plate with half the things that were supposed to be on it. I returned the plate saying that the meat was undercooked and the chicken was missing. After 30 minutes they forgot to bring me the plate. My husband has finished eating and I still have nothing. I received the plate again with the undercooked meat and once again they had removed the chicken. What more can be said ?!! The staff not attentive except for one lady who was nice and apologized for the delay. They saw my plate full, that I had eaten almost nothing and didn't even ask us if we were satisfied or not. Nothing to add. Very disappointed because we wanted to go there for 1 year and ended up not even eating!!!

Warm and well decorated place. Welcoming and friendly service. Unfortunately the dishes were inedible and expensive for what they were. Pay 49.- for a cold beef steak and frozen vegetables from Migros. Really unfortunate and hugely disappointed. And I understood that it was for International Women’s Day and that’s what’s even sadder. Bad organization, women danced anywhere even though there was space for it but no one saw fit to guide them. Fortunately no one choked

Great discovery. Excellent value for money! The dishes are plentiful and very good. A special thank you to the waiters who were very available and friendly even though we had with us a person with reduced mobility with several restrictions. We recommend and will come back. The only downside is the disabled toilets which are not accessible. Too bad, since the restaurant is 100m from a PMR foundation.

Just excellent, I highly recommend, we tasted the traditional Albanian cuisine including the red wine which was recommended to us by the staff which we loved. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Thank you for this pleasant time spent with your family.

My dish was cold We had to wait 2 hours for our orders to be taken and what's more, we were the ones who had to call the waitress, they counted our dishes incorrectly and then we had to wait 2 hours We were looked at badly by the women even when she brought the cakes There were just men who were welcoming

Very good restaurant. Quality service and typical dishes. You have to come and try.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff are friendly. On the other hand, the reception was average, and the wait was long for a salad, rice with vegetables and a goulash sauce. In addition, our 2 dishes were served on cold plates (the food was still hot). We didn't really like our dishes....In short, I strongly recommend a little training in the art of catering because I think there is potential!

My wife and I arrived from Geneva to try their cuisine. Parking space galore for customers, a good dozen spaces. The place is very hidden, very pretty also inside or on the terrace. The homemade bread, the meat that we ordered was magnificent, the paprika and cream were perfect, the burger was a real delight. Maybe the service is a bit long, it doesn't matter. When we eat balkan we take the time to eat. The boss or manager is really very nice and welcoming, the waitress maybe doesn't have the biggest smile but she is professional, that's what we ask of waiters or waitresses for efficiency. I wish you good luck, that you can grow in the future, because you deserve it. For example, opening another restaurant in Geneva 😉. See you soon

Nothing to say After waiting because of their success, I had a magical time, my palate traveling to the Balkan while being in the heart of Lausanne, Since then I've been waiting for friends to set the cutlery a second time...

The ambience was OK. Service, very slow and lame, had to call a waiter because he was too busy to see that customers were there. The food wasn't fresh. We drove very far to go there, but it wasn't worth it. I do not recommend Votra.

Restaurant with Albanian specialties. Very friendly and smiling service. I had the discovery dish with several meat specialties. It was good but sometimes the meat seemed undercooked. The atmosphere is neat once you enter the restaurant.

We were 5 people. The service was a little slow although there were few people and the smoke from another customer who was outside bothered us until the window was closed. Otherwise the food was very good, the atmosphere pleasant and the staff friendly. I recommend Votra!

We went often because we were greeted by an incredibly welcoming young blonde waitress with a very gentle and smiling kindness, a very professional service and incredible efficiency, recently we passed by we learned that she left this restaurant and we are disappointed at their departure because the welcome and service is no longer the same as before. This nice person has created a gap in this place, because the male staff is not at all up to date with the catering and the dark-haired lady who does the service is not so welcoming and does not make conversation at all. Catering is about looking after yourself, smiling, welcoming, talking with customers, efficiency, not keeping customers waiting! Finally, we will no longer go to this place. You have no right to say that the other waitress was a bad person. Because before judging someone you have to look at yourself, and yes this waitress was worth gold, she was a GOLDEN person. She brought us hot dishes, she didn't make us wait and she was always smiling and well looked after! Sorry to disappoint you, sorry that you're not as perfect as she was.

Good food, poor service, more than an hour of waiting even though we had booked under the pretext that they had a lot of people. Learning to manage customer flow is not very complicated. Provide better quality tables. I don't recommend.

3☆ We booked a Saturday evening during a special evening, fixed menu, without being informed in advance. We were thinking of going to eat traditional dishes but when the waitress told us about a unique menu, we still thought we would receive a traditional dish. Our disappointment was clearly felt when we received a small iceberg salad with a ridiculous black olive and some unfortunate crumbled carrots; the main course consisted of veal with mushroom sauce and side dishes (rice and frozen vegetables). As much as the cooking of the meat was great, the accompaniments looked like pureed vegetables and rice. The traditional touch was at dessert. We asked for Trileqe, a little dry, and baklava, the WORST I have ever tasted. A HUGE failure for a traditional Albanian restaurant. Considering the results of this menu, the price paid was exorbitant, the quality was not there. The service was very fast, too fast. One might wonder when the dishes were prepared. The waitresses were very friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere was great, the singer too, the customers were able to dance. In short, the meat, the atmosphere and the service are the only positive points. The rest needs to be improved.

Good food and range of dishes. On the other hand, the staff is not at all professional. Endless waiting... The lady who manages the bar looks at us while watering the plants without even saying hello while the owner smokes his cigarette. Avoid when in a hurry, but worth it because of the great selection of specialties.

A menu with quite a few choices and some specialties (kafka, goulash). Nice staff. Terrace without view but sunny and sheltered from the wind.
