Wanida in Schlieren

Wanida is still an absolute insider tip and I'm surprised that not many more people have discovered it yet. Yes, the on-site decor isn't particularly inviting, but the food is authentically Thai and the portions are really filling. You will be warmly welcomed by the owner and those who come often are treated as if they were sitting at the table with mom. During the time I worked nearby and ate here every week, my portions got bigger and bigger and when I said goodbye I always got fruit or something sweet with me. She is an absolute heartfelt person and I finally wish her a lot more fame! ♥️

The food itself is very good and definitely worth 4-5 stars. But the rest leaves something to be desired. The furnishings seem a bit cheap and the area on the kitchen side even seems a bit shabby and cobbled together. The staff was friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed by the rush and unorganized. So it took some time until we received and paid for our food. Portions and prices are within normal limits.
