Too bad for the terrace it should be open 7/7, so the chef's restaurant is only open until 3 p.m.!

Sadly the airport is badly suffering from poor managment and decisions. Eg why do you have to take a taxi from the french sector to the swiss if you have a train ticket,, but if you have a boarding pass,a bus or shuttle ticket you can walk the 10meters trough the "boarder". Stupid decision and poor judgement by airport...

One of the best airports in Europe with the best facilities and friendly staff throughout. Especially after the bad experience at uk airports consistently. Geneva definitely is among the best 5 in Europe. Thank you guys.

On the same level as Luton or other airports serving low cost airlines. The new terminal is a huge lost opportunity, with no restaurants and looks like a bad relic from the 60s which - like the rest of the airport - would be torn down by anyone with a sense of style or function. All in all an embarrassingly introduction to Switzerland and I only rate 2 stars due to the generally efficient security.

Crowded, cramped, disorganised. Clueless staff don't know how to organise queues efficiently reshuffling people multiple times causing further delays and confusion with no information provided. If you expect to find "Swiss efficiency" then look elsewhere. Would be 1 star if it wasn't for the one nice, polite, and efficient lady at security.

Incompetency at its finest. One of the most inefficient and time wasting airport I've ever been to. If possible, avoid.

Always Chaos, luggage delayed and long waiting times

Shocking experience both on arrival to, and now on departure from. Long queues and very little space. It’s like a grazing field of humans (to quote the teenager stood next to me right now).

Every lounge full, airport so over capacity most people sitting on the floor. Clearly not fit for purpose.

It seems Geneva airport has not kept up with its growth. On a Saturday in March, countless people are sitting on the floor everywhere as the few bars are filled to the brim. While the security process was fast and the small playground is lovely for toddlers, this airport lacks in many ways. For example, what airport still has a coin system for luggage trolleys? You’ll need a CHF 2 coin to get one. Also, the duty free counters remained empty for the thirty odd minutes I waited there.

Excellent updating system for tracking flights arriving in Geneva. Even baggage delivery! So we can arrive at the last moment to welcome those who arrive without waiting for hours in the arrival hall.

Easy access. Plan to reserve parking at least 2 weeks in advance. Several shops, cafes and restaurants. Very clean!

I had rented a car on the French side of the airport, and I came to the Swiss side, because I left by train to reduce my environmental impact from Lille to Geneva. Arriving on the Swiss side at the airport, I was refused access to the French side (even though I presented my passport) under the pretext that I did not have a boarding pass. It is a scandal and a profound attack on the right to free movement. I had to pay 46eur (!!!) for a taxi to take me and my family around the airport and back to the French side. I almost missed the closing time of the car rental agency. We passed between barbed wire fences several meters long, in a long corridor, I thought I was in a country at war. Is this the image we want to show our tourists? In Europe where does democracy advocate??? Urgently create the possibility of crossing from Switzerland to France, and vice versa, as a pedestrian, with the presentation of a passport or identity card. No one is happy with this decision! Neither the security personnel who have to defend this absurdity, nor the tourists who are robbed of their vacation budget to tour an airport (almost 100eur round trip!!!), nor the taxi drivers who hope to make more interesting races, nor the planet, because you have to pollute to go around. I am obviously waiting for a response to this opinion with your corrective actions so that no one relives this sad, unjust, violent experience, deprived of freedom of movement, and with an image like a country at war.

For my part, very satisfied, it’s a change from French airports. Everything is super well organized, toilet clean when I pass. Always a pleasure to take off from Geneva, it’s reassuring!

Good points: the airport is easy to negotiate and the security lines move fairly quickly. What I continue to find shocking is there only ONE water fountain in this airportn and its up on the 2nd floor way past the lounges. And when the shops and lounges are closed or charging outrageous prices, this lack of access to drinking water is beyond words.

Worst airport, I've ever been so far. Slow, people unpleasant. Horrible experience. There are only two open windows for baggage drop for 12 airlines. Does it make any sense? People in line were really stressed about their flights.

It’s against basic customers rights that you can’t exchange anything or refund - I purchased one chocolate and I found one better than that - but he refused to exchange while I was at counter so I have to pay again. #Shame #geneva HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AS WELL ! terrible miserable sad soul

Arrived Saturday 8.30pm...the immigration queue was unreal... perhaps several hundred to a 1000 waiting to get a stamp in their passports, 4 control staff. The Swiss EU queue had 6 people waiting.... for the staff to follow the rules to the point of not allowing families with small children and very elderly use the swiss queue seemed to breach the Geneva Convention :))

Good duty free if that's your thing. Nice terrace by the food court in good weather. Plenty of seating airside. Not enough charge points so bring a power brick!

Passport control was diabolically terrible, rude rude border control woman and awfully long queue

Bad from start to finish. Wifi to begin with will almost seem like a secondary quest, you have to find a particular terminal among the mass of people present in the same place, then collect a ticket and finally be able to access it. In short, we saw more practicality. Then we can note the total absence of distributors and (French) sockets which can be quite inconvenient when you have your transport ticket on your phone. The airport being on the French-Swiss border, we expected not to have to pay for an expensive adapter which we would never use again. It is also important to note the rarity of these, which makes them even more difficult to access. In short, run away.

Would you like to put anti-noise pads under your chairs at the food court, in the veranda.... even the staff drags the chairs and you can't even hear yourself think....

This place is naturally associated with all my memories of professional and private travel. With Swissair before and after the fall, and Crossair every Monday morning to Düsseldorf... The airport of my late returns, the anteroom of my home. A place on a human scale where service and quality take on their full Swiss meaning...

Great airport, great organization with the shuttle buses that go into the mountains. The train station right at the airport is also very helpful. The fact that you can easily find the hotel shuttles is also very pleasant. I like to travel via Geneva airport.

Absolute garbage, airport is designed for about 1/10 of the current passenger flow XD In the future, I try not to use Geneva airport. You Swiss people can do better than this, even with all the oligarch money XD

Until something has been done to make this airport larger and more suitable for the amount of passengers, I would not recommend traveling through here. The good: check in and security was relatively quick. The bad: there’s not enough space for passengers and everything seems cramped. Lounges were full. I would suggest not bringing any extra carry-on here as you might have trouble moving around.

Slow, understaffed and not well planned airport. 20 min queue to toilets. Need a physical coin (like in the 80’s) to get a baggage trolley (the only place during the whole vacay when cash was needed. I only expect the need to get physical money in a third world country, not here.)

Can you please fix your wifi? I have travelled to 50+ countries and many more airports and this is the first and only time I’ve had to go to airport information to figure out your needlessly complex log-in system. What ID card? What boarding card number? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

International terminal is terrible. Slow slow security and no food options

A very busy airport. The shopping area collides with people coming through security but thankfully there's a middle aisle to take you away from them. The airport is making improvements overall.

Lovely modern airport. Easy self service bag drop and security very efficient. Plenty of options for food, drink and shopping and everything was spotlessly clean. Easy to get updates on flight departures by phone sms or WhatsApp with gate details and boarding. Helpful staff and efficient boarding. All in all, excellent.

The queue at passport control is 1.5 hours, no one cares, no one is in a hurry.

Slow security, cramped and low ceiling. Feels more like a bus terminal, than an airport.

This should be called Geneva bus station, very crammed and uncomfortable.

Switzerland's international airport. Easy to access to passport and luggage claim and also easy to go to the city thanks to bus, uber and taxi services. Public transportation is free in Genene for tourists who has an booking any hotel inside Geneve.

Wifi options are not convenient at all if you don't have cellular service. You can get a code through your boarding pass but to my knowledge you can't use this option upon arrival (you need to find a small box where you can scan your boarding pass and it prints a ticket with a code, however I could not locate any of them); or you can get a code via sms IF you have cell service...once again not convenient in this day and age, system should be upgraded.

It’s getting old… we left on March 9th. An incredible world but the airport was saturated…

It is a central and easily accessible airport from which you can reach the city in 20 minutes. The staff are helpful. It would be easy to get off here and cross to France by train 😉

Good airport, easy to navigate and check in was smooth. The assistance service is good. Nice range of shops if that's your thing and a few coffee/tea and food shops.

Worse airport ever in Switzerland honestly employees are very arrogant and no coordination busy day at the airport normal people waiting in the queue but airport staff constantly add more people to the queue front part this causes an unfair situation and constant arguments I try to speak with employee why u waiting here instead of beginning if u do that no one jump front off us but clearly he ignored because when he's time end he can go home no one think passengers!

Airport with motorway access still under construction. Very well combined inside with the different arrivals and departures. Notifications via watts app are very good, and provide comfort for the people who come to pick up travelers. Good idea. THANKS

Terrible experience. Terminal 2 is not fit for purpose! Queue after Queue. The smallest security setup where you have a one to one conversation then scan your boarding pass then X-ray…Wholly inadequate! Then a bus to the main terminal arriving through a side door…With no lift, help for elderly or people with kids! Main terminal was like the end of the world! Then a 3km walk to the gate where the travelators aren’t working! No space at the gates to sit, 6 gate staff doing nothing. Then an hour long wait for baggage on the plane departing because 3 out of 4 X-ray machines were apparently broken?! I thought the Swiss were the pinnacle of efficiency and how to do a country? Clearly not! the airport reminded me of Cairo and that’s all I need to say.. won’t be coming back if I don’t have to.

Two hour wait to get through passport control on a Sunday afternoon. The wait and queue was longer than our flight! It's ridiculous. Switzerland clearly don't want tourists to use their airport. Avoid this airport

Always long lines to check bags and get through customs, especially British Airways. Wish there were better options but this is Swiss precision apparently :)

Worst airport I have ever visited. Enormous immigration queues on arrival and departure. The heat melted chocolate in my bag. The layout airside is terrible. Once we got through the baggage scan (very efficient) it was crowded with no space at any food outlets and nowhere to sit. People were sitting on the floor. You can buy a Rolex but good luck trying to find a chair to sit on

Quite possibly the worst international airport I’ve flown into for many years. Immigration took approx 2 hours of standing. If you don’t have an EU passport, it’s like your at an airport 20 years ago. What an Outdated approach to passport control with 4 immigration booths for several 100 arriving visitors with no real effort to modernize. Luggage retrieval was the slowest! Even after a 2 hour wait! If you can avoid this one- do it.

Atrocious airport. Queues snaking in every direction, get internal buses then have a massive security queue. 120 mins from arrival to gate for a short flight in Europe.

Lovely airport, lots of shops and easy security

Really old airport. Advertising posters from major Swiss watchmakers line the walls of arrival corridors, but the halls, toilets and others really deserve a refresh worthy of the image we wish to give of Switzerland... As for waiting for luggage.... no comment.

You can buy a luxury watch or a Hermes scarf but impossible to have access to basic services: very complicated to have access to wifi from a computer, there is no 4G network throughout the airport (very difficult to send a message, absolutely impossible to watch a series while waiting for your flight), the sockets for charging the phone generally do not work, once in zone C, impossible to buy headphones that work with an iPhone, very complicated to buying a sandwich after a certain time, crazy queues for luggage…. The basics of travel need to be reviewed before claiming to be a luxury airport….

Dear Geneva Airport, even after spending CHF 000’s in your country as a tourist I didn’t spend anything in your airport as I had to wait 30 minutes to get through passport control. It seems you don’t have any respect for travellers from UK otherwise you would afford us the same courtesy as we do when Swiss travellers come to UK and allow us to use automatic gates. So much for Swiss fairness and efficiency. I will consider going elsewhere and spend my money in future.
