Woody Pizza in Zug

We ordered the prosciutto and fungi pizza as well as the vegetriana and they were both delicious! Nice thin base with a puffy crust -just the way I like it. The pizzas and drinks are on the slightly more expensive side, but they tasted fresh, had generous toppings, were pretty large, and were ready in only a few minutes. There are two reasons I’m deducting a star though: 1. the young lady at the till was very unmotivated and had an unfriendly undertone. 2. they don’t accept cash, which is very unusual for Switzerland.

Very tasty Neapolitan pizza with perfect dough. There have to be dark spots, otherwise it wouldn't be Neapolitan pizza. People who don't like this should just let them know.

The pizza was exceptional—deliciously airy crust that added a delightful lightness to every bite. Wood oven makes the difference!

The pizzas are very good. I prefer to take away, I miss the ambience of eating there. From ordering to receiving the pizzas it was very quick. The pizzaioli are very friendly and spoke to my daughter, she was allowed to watch behind the scenes. The selection of pizzas could definitely be larger. Grazie a tutti

Pizza was fine, but with burnt spots on the edge and bottom! This is carcinogenic.

Burnt pizza, could only eat part of it. Unacceptable for a price of CHF 20! That was my last pizza there, what a shame.

Mega crispy pizza. But the offer is fine. At off-peak times you can get the pizza extremely quickly within 5 minutes 😀 Woody Pizza is right at the entrance to the extremely cool Freiruum in Zug.

Absolutely fantastic Neapolitan pizza! 10/10 🌟 Incredibly good, airy and light dough, all the ingredients are very high quality and the price is absolutely right.

The pizza was amazing. Just like an Italian pizza. Unfortunately it was a bit small though and the crust was a little bit thick. Obviously the Freiruum has a great atmosphere and is very kid friendly. Over all a great dinner.

A pizza just as it should be, with black bubbles and the typical Neapolitan leopard print on the edge. Most Swiss pizzerias can't keep up with that. Really the best pizza in a long time. little italy in Affoltern am Albis and Zug :)

I love Freiruum in general and Woody has the best pizza in canton Zug! The pizzas are authentic Italian pizzas all made with their own dough recipe & qualitative toppings. You have to try their vegetarian pizza!

Very cool location in the Frieruum. Ate at Woody's Pizza there on the recommendation of a friend. I had a very tasty Pizza Etna. Dough fluffy and crispy. The wood stove is definitely a very good investment. Overall a success, I'll definitely be back!!! Thanks to Rosano for the tip & the very good pizza 🍕!!

Eng: they reheat “old” pizzas. They just did it to me. They had two pizzas left by someone, and as if nothing had happened, they simply reheated it. Very bad. I told them and they didn't even want to listen to me. There, in front of everyone. Never again Eng: they hit up “old” pizzas. ordered 2 pizzas for my girls, they had 2 left-overs right beneath the oven, for who knows how long. They just simply put it in the oven. When I asked they simply neglected me. For the record, it immediately turned cold Never again

This is a “pizza al legna mobile”, a truck that has a real food fired pizza oven at the back. Had a quick chat with one of the pizzaiolos and their 36hrs raised dough is a mix between Neapolitan and Roman, with decidedly more crispy feel yet still very light and delicate bite. Really tasty pizza and friendly people, and nicely designed experience all around! The truck moves around greater Zurich area, so check the website for availability.
