Outdated restaurant in previous decade chic that wasn't kept to its standard. The temperature was unpleasant (too cold) and the food rather average, particularly the quality of ingredients and price were a mismatch.

The restaurant has a beautiful view of Lake Lucerne. We had A1 service. Our special requests for our little daughter (1 year old) were also taken into account. We would come again. Stroller and wheelchair accessible.

Without a reservation, three of us friends found a place on the terrace on a Saturday evening and were served professionally and friendly from start to finish. The food from the kitchen was to die for. Yes, it's a different price range - but the service, the greeting from the kitchen, the quality of the dishes and the portions - you had a perfect evening! First cream - we can warmly recommend it.

It is slightly better than mediocre cooking , our favorite restaurant Riva was closed today, we were told to give Zee a try. The soup was saltier than it should be , even the sampler soup for breads was salty. Salad with the restaurant dressing was a little too sweet, though salad itself was fresh and well tossed. They made a small mistake on the main course but a swift correction turned it around , which was nice. Then the final step became a bit irritating, this was our last stop for a pleasant two week European vacation, we were in London, Paris, Strasbourg, Munich etc. in each city we read the tipping rules, and in some city even the hotel concierge told us tipping was not required we still left five to ten euro. Tonight as we were paying the bill with a credit card, our waiter started his attempts in soliciting a tip by repeatedly nudging us, once, twice he sounded us out, the very last time he was kinda rude and said to our face, “you know the tip is not included in the bill you paid with credit card!”we were quite annoyed by his unrelenting and unwarranted pestering, firstly he didn’t know if we were going to leave some cash or now, secondly all the information on Google says it is strictly up to you if you want to leave a tip or not, and waiters make a decent salary here in Switzerland, as a result of his bickering, even though we still left 10 Swiss franc on the table, but we strongly felt he singled us out because we were not from here. I want Zee to know this was quite annoying, let alone rude and inappropriate , which gives us a lasting memory and zero desire to return. Weggis is a city we relish very much, this would be our second stay in the city.

Eating right by the water, what a romantic feeling. The staff is very accommodating and offered us a very tasty non-alcoholic autumn drink upon request. The food was excellent.

There were ten of us there and the starters were very good. The main course was a bit disappointing. For the high price, we would have expected fresh vegetables and, above all, more than 2 small boiled potatoes with the fish. Desserts, especially the Zee Coupe, were good. The location right on the lake is unbeatable and the service is friendly. All in all, a successful evening that we all enjoyed very much.

We were only there for café and dessert. The view of the lake is stunning.

Unfortunately this was the most underwhelming meal of our trip. The surface was excellent and the location lovely. However, while we enjoyed some parts of our meal, the prawn pasta appetizer as well as our fish was particularly good, we wouldn't return here. The quality of the bread, vegetables, and especially the rice was not what you would expect for a meal of this price.

Only 3 tables taken out of about 20 available and we were turned away because we didn’t have reservations. They gave us dirty looks because we were in athletic atire. We probably have more money then everyone there… their loss.

We were there twice this week and just loved the great service, food and the view! Great food, great additional products such as oil, spices, herb butter and bread. Afterwards a nibble that simply delighted! When the staff smile, you realize how welcome you are here! Great, keep it up and thank you very much again, it was great with you. One employee said he was happy to work here. That really says it all! We'll come back when we're in Weggis.

The food was outstanding, I picked the asparagus soup and the catch of the day which was extremely fresh and delicious, rare quality to find nowadays. Excellent fish! The side dish (risotto) was unfortunately not edible - only consisted of a creamy, indefinable mass and tasted more like raclette. But the waiter served me potatoes and they were great. Generally a nice evening with good service and an amuse bouche

Without a doubt, the best restaurant we visited in Weggis. The food was delicious in perfect portions, we particularly loved the red cabbage soup. The service is excellent, we feel like we are eating at home.

We were there on an autumn evening. In addition to game, there was also the normal menu with fresh fish of the day. Wild hare with salad, pumpkin cream soup as well as the vegetarian game plate and the beef stroganoff were excellent. The only thing that would have been better for the coffee was Friandise than the biscuit. For us the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

One of the best restaurants in the area (or probably even in Switzerland)!! Absolutely amazing food, wonderful service, great views!! And, we accidentally forgot our power bank there, and they sent it back to Zurich without even taking any charges. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weggis!! We spontaneously went to eat here on holiday. We were very excited. A highlight in terms of taste. The price is definitely a little more expensive, but the food and service are worth every cent. The entrecôte was a taste experience :)
