Massive operation, long walking distances, quality of the food was excellent, no fish, no salmon, sausages presented carelessly (lumps of sausage on a plate). Long queue for coffee. Atmosphere like Chinese New Year in a tourist hotel. CHF 39 per person, is it still possible?

8 years of Zmorgeland - 8 years of Sunday brunch, for which people like to travel from the Bernese Oberland to Basel. Freshly prepared, large selection of regional products and the best Chai Latte far and wide!

Food definitely not worth 37.- …below average drinks. There are better and cheaper options in Basel.

The food was very good, but unfortunately it was very crowded and you had to wait in line for a long time.

I didn't have a bad experience nor an amazing one. Food was ok but It didn't let me say "aww, I Would love to get another bite of that". Probably because of lack of variety. Staff was very kind though and the Markthalle location never disappoints!

Great selection of food and a hectic but lively atmosphere. Great for going to brunch with kids or a large group. Just make sure to book online ahead of time so a table is reserved for you.

Very good all-you-can-eat buffet brunch, with quality food, for all tastes. Croissants, fresh bread, various cold cuts and cheeses, prepared salads, bacon, eggs, and everything was excellent. 37 euros per person, which is reasonable for Basel prices.

For the price there could be a little more choice... we made a reservation for 12:30 but the selection was still very small and a maximum of 10 people at brunch at that moment... unfortunately we left hungry as there was almost nothing left... a shame.

Amazing brunch and by far the best thing we've had in Basel so far. Unusually large selection, very exciting dishes, tea and juices etc. at your free disposal as well as a barista coffee drink included (that's not a given). Any time!

I can fully recommend Zmorgeland. Regional food, almost everything in organic or Demeter quality. Relaxed atmosphere, very suitable for families with children.

Brunch order home delivery for 3 people. On-time delivery, but the delivery quantity was very disappointing. 3 pieces of cheese and 3 pieces of cold cuts. 3 pieces of croissants and 3 rolls and 3 very small jams. For Fr 34.00 / person it is too expensive for the price/performance ratio. I won't recommend it.

I tried the Brunch@Home this Sunday and unfortunately I wasn't satisfied. For 34CHF per person I was hoping for something different. In terms of quantity it was ok, but it wasn't anything special. The Rösti was cold and greasy, the fruit juice from the supermarket and not particularly tasty. I heard the brunch on site is very good though. However, the Brunch@Home didn't convince us and I wouldn't order it again.

Rich buffet with a variety of delicacies. In addition to the usual continental breakfast, you can also choose between 8 different types of cheese, hummus, sweet patato and other vegetarian specialties. Reservations are recommended but usually not necessary.

The food is good. I found it unsatisfactory that there were too few braids and too few croissants. I think it's a shame that the price only includes a cappuccino.

Zmorgeland is one of the best choices for brunch in Basel as it’s local, fresh and made with love. The buffet represents a fresh and local selection of creative salads, cheeses, meats and veggies. The hot section features homemade hash browns (Rösti) as well as scrambled egg, a soup of the day, home made Quiche and hard boiled eggs. Zmorgeland excels at providing local and homemade options for brunch and is run by a lovely wife and husband team. You will leave happy and satisfied ready to take a nap.

Great atmosphere, quite crowded at times but always a great selection of food and drinks. I would love to come again.

Very unloving, overpriced and uncomfortable. For us it has little in common with the rest of the market hall and its atmosphere. Focus on organic and sustainability but have products with palm oil lying around. Addendum; You can make your own ginger-lemon tea - please put UNTREATED lemons for it, it's a shame about my tea and the money.

once in a lifetime experience: never again. the price is by far too high for the quality. @ chf 34 freshmade juices should be expectable (not MICHEL industry stuff) eggs and hash browns (rösti) weren't warm enough and the choice of cheeses under expectation. @ this price one one coffee is included (another cappucino 5.50). what i missed most: food made with LOVE.

What a spread! Bottomless brunch for CHF 34 a bit on the steep side but if you’re having one sitting they’ll do you a deal. Lovely open space, great bread and onion frittata!
