We ordered Wiener Schnitzel and received 2 Kinderschnitzel. Wiener Schnitzel was still charged. Hard to beat in terms of audacity! The ambience was okay, but nothing special.

Service completely unmotivated. We ordered the menu with starter and fish. The fish smelled so bad, I'm sure the cook must have noticed that the fish simply stinks! I told the staff, they apologized but didn't even buy coffee or anything. They then charged me a whopping 24chf for the starter. I don't think that works at all. We have visited the restaurant many times, after the incident today we will never go there again.

We were greeted by the entire service staff including the boss and as if we were regular guests. We're not that, but there's really nothing wrong with becoming that. From A to Z everything was perfect, atmosphere, mood, the sparkling wine with the aperitif, the attentive and lovely service throughout the entire evening. Kaiserschmarrn is very good for that. For vegetarians there should be more traditional Austrian dishes, dumplings taste good but I didn't expect the option with cous cous. An amuse bouche is served, which is nice, but unfortunately intolerances are not addressed at all and an alternative is offered. I would have expected that. There were no active recommendations for either food or drinks, you just wait for what the guest orders. A pity. All in all, I've had a lot more fun in other restaurants without points, both with the service and the food. 3.5 out of 5 stars for me.

Kartoffelsalat which came with the famous Wienerschnitzel was one of the best I have had. The owner Franz is a sommelier and he is a very very friendly owner. He has immense knowledge with wine and is always ready to make good recommendations. Styrian wine needs no introduction but if you have never had any, this is the place to be. Overall, i would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to eat Austrian, but even better, Styrian dishes in Switzerland.

My favourite Austrian restaurant in Zug. The owner and his staff are what I consider real hosts. It is even worthwhile to drive from Zurich. And we were here again. What surprise the owner was cooking today and guess - it was super. The staff as always perfect, friendly and efficient. The menu great and the owner so special - a real Gastronom. We would love to duplicate and bring him to Zurich. With the good weather the terrace is a nice place having lake view and as said with the menu and the staff your visit will be magnificent. We ate here a month ago and I thought I left a review but I must have not so here we go: Food was delicious but the best part was Franz the owner. He’s so welcoming and caring. He made our visit even more special. Apparently he just celebrated his 60th and he had some of the bottles of red he had ordered for his birthday left and we were able to drink a wine that is normally 60-80 CHF (for the bottle) by the glass at a very very reasonable price and it was absolutely delicious!! Schnitzel was delicious too, and so was desert. We’ll definitely be back :)
