I didn’t been in the restaurant , and i am glad that I didn’t dine because the reservation team sounds unprofessional during taking a reservation with their unpleasant reasons if they have availability but for them is to short lol like they the one who gonna control how i eat , so unfortunately they need to work how to talk to the guest and give a valid reasons

Made a lunch reservation for 1:30 on a Monday - the restaurant closes at 2:00. The service was outstanding, timely, and attentive - I never felt rushed. This place is definitely higher end, and the prices reflect that, but so does the service and quality of food. I came to try tithe classic Swiss sliced veal with wine sauce and rösti, and it didn’t disappoint. When my dish first showed up it looked like less veal than I was used to seeing, but the elegant way they plate it was deceiving - you get plenty. The sauce was rich and flavorful, the veal and mushrooms were tender and nicely cooked, and the rösti was nice and crispy on the outside. I am definitely looking forward to returning with my wife for a romantic dinner in the near future - would highly recommend.

Fantastic food and service. We had a wonderful, attentive server who made excellent recommendations and coursed our meal perfectly. We only had 3 nights in Zurich and I'm so glad we came here. This seems to be a popular fancy place for special occasions so definitely make a reservation.

Visited this place several times over the years and have to say quality has gone down lately. Visited before Christmas break and were served stale pastry and old bread. The plus remains a very good wine list, however not enough to make us return.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the traditional Swiss restaurant. The food was extremely delicious and the service was excellent and extremely precise. I would like to thank all the employees who asked about my satisfaction several times. Everything was truly excellent and I am very impressed with your dedication and professionalism.

The best meal I had in Zurich! Cute terrace. Service could have been better. I ordered the veal with kidneys and a side of grilled vegetables. The vegetables were such a surprise and they really put effort into them - wow! I will definitely come back

We sat in the beautiful Münsterhof. Delicious veal kidneys and noodles - a Zurich specialty, eaten. Nice service.

I was there for an event and it is a very pretty old fashion house. Worth going to see .Long ago I had food and it was very, nice up scale. They also have a terrace to dine or have a drink

Ms. Richard is a really bad event coordinator. She gives prices where they aren't even on the website, why? - no one knows, I'm really mad!

Lovely dinner. We decided to eat outside on a nice cool night. We did have reservations which we recommend. The food was delicious!! Loved every bite.

It’s is a really good restaurant. The food is really good, the schnitzel, entrecôte, calf. But the fried duck liver is on another level! Service was good. There was a mess up where the main dish was brought before the starter, but the waiter offered to return dishes and wait for the starter. It didn’t matter that much for us, we just kept the dishes. The fried duck liver was a great side for having at the end of the meal! Environment is nice. It was summer so we were seated outside. It can be loud if there are some street performers in the square. In general a really good restaurant!

A old guild House in Zurich Old Town from the 1300s that's now a restaurant. Beautiful view across the square of the church and traditional Swiss/German food. The Guild was for weavers and hat makers and continued to this day, about as more of a fraternal organization, without the connection to the tradesmen

My experience was as a worker at that restaurant in 1987, it was a good experience.

Super nice historic guild hall where you can get married in a civil ceremony. Very elegant and classic. I'm happy every time I can accompany a bride and groom here. It is also very beautiful from the outside and you can take beautiful pictures both inside and outside.

So lala. Review time. Service & welcome 1a. Attentive staff, quick service, no points of complain. Starter - Smoked salmon mousse was absolutely 1a in terms of taste and presentation. In my opinion the best dish of the day. Main - Kalbs schnitzel. Already happy that potato salad and preisselbeeren are served as a basic which isn’t the case in all Zurich restaurants who claim to have Kalbsschnitzel! Presentation was very nice, the Kalbsschnitzel itself was a little over fat/softisch to bite. Maybe something on the way it was prepared. Would give it a 4/5 as I call myself a schnitzel Connaisseur. Dessert: creme brûlée. Chocolate mousse was not complete/unavailable as such I switched. Great taste and presentation. Good 5/5 Overall with price - mains are in line with the area. Starters on the high end but the taste and presentation makes up for it so justified. Overall 5/5 for this location

This was one of my favourite restaurants on our trip. Big generous meal servings, really cosy atmosphere, and good variety of beer. Couldn’t fault the authentic food here!

Tasty and copious dishes served in a historical setting. The restaurant is one of the oldest in Zürich and conveniently located in the old city centre.

Very nice restaurant with top staff. My wishes and needs (histamine intolerance) were taken into consideration and the menu was adapted accordingly. I can really recommend it. Very friendly, very accommodating - everything was just right. I was there as part of a company Christmas party, but I will definitely go again privately.

Super delicious meal and impeccable service but pricey

Unfortunately very disappointing, the wait took 40 minutes until we received the drink. Unfortunately, injected white wine tasted like beer and was bitter. The second order had the exact same problem. After the open was served, we had to linger for 30 minutes. It's a shame... we won't visit anymore.

As a regular guest, I was greeted very personally and friendly by the boss with my name as always. A very nice table was reserved for me, which was very suitable for the purpose that day. People know me here and take me seriously as a regular customer. The food here was excellent as always. The service was friendly, but not always attentive. We wanted to order dessert and called the waiter next door who was busy cleaning an abandoned table. He acted as if he didn't hear us. Only when he had finished cleaning the table were we heard and he took the order. It seemed to us as if the table was more important than the guest. I also realize that this was an isolated incident, but it shouldn't happen in a restaurant like this. However, on all previous visits everything was fine in terms of service. The price-performance ratio is 100% consistent here, if you ignore the aforementioned incident. In any case, me and my guest left the restaurant very satisfied.

A great place for dinner in Zurich is Zunfthaus zur Waag, the premier restaurant in Zurich’s city center. I chose to dine outdoors overlooking Fraumunster Church where the melodic church bells rang like clockwork on the 1/4 hours. The owner came by a couple of times and was very personable. He truly enjoys his guests. I dined on a delicious cauliflower purée soup with truffles and caramelized cured bacon strips. My main dish was gnocchi with sage and Pecorino cheese. I sat there for hours people watching, listening to piano music in the piazza and enjoying an incredible chocolate mousse dessert. It was art made by a very famous Swiss chocolatier.

the best decision for our vacation here was to dine at this restaurant. I had already reserved a table in July. everything was right in this restaurant. Top-notch service in a well located central square. There was a street musician also playing music which made the atmosphere even nicer. Food is extremely fine and delish. Highly recommended!

Besides delighting your palate, you will enchant your sight with the views from Fraumünster. This is one of the top traditional swiss food restaurants in Zurich.

We recently had our wedding ceremony with a small aperitif in the Zunfthaus zur Waag. Ms. S. responded to all of our questions and requests during the organization. The service and the appetizers at the aperitif were top. It gave us great pleasure to be able to hold our wedding ceremony in the guild house. Thank you for your great commitment!

Delicious food and tradition combined with excellent service. What more can you ask for?! The waiters were super friendly and even customized the menu of the day for me so I could try a delicious soup I had spotted in the menu 😄

Can’t say enough nice things abt our experience! The owner is extremely kind and showed us in person to the other restaurants while his own was full. We were committed and came back. He not only made us a new table but also offered us the complimentary great wine when waiting. The food is even better. Very authentic and tasty. Deserts are amazing! We will definitely come back!
