Neni in Zürich

Were here for dinner for the first time today and Elsi was our waitress, a sweetheart, in a good mood and always had a saying, top service 👍👍👍👍👍 wasn't here for the last time

I had Salmon sashimi for starters and Chicken Shawarma as main, completed by a chocolate mousse cake. It was delightful and our waiter Elsi was courteous and funny. Will come again for sure.

A huge compliment to the whole team... first of all I would like to particularly praise our waitress Elsi with her very friendly manner and the joy she showed us at the table - it was really a very great and pleasant service... The food is delicious. The prices are rather high. It's also rather loud in the restaurant, which didn't bother us that much, but not everyone likes it when they go out to eat.

Our group had the Balagan menu and the food was nice. The waitress Elsi was extremely welcoming, friendly and hustles to serve our food and drinks. Elsi's service brought the whole dining experience to the next level

Very great restaurant with delicious food In my opinion, the seating is very tight and with wine, mineral water and food it gets very crowded on the table. Larger tables and more distance from the neighbors would be desirable

I had bday celebration at Neni on Saturday. We were a group of 5. The ambiance was bubbly and fun, the food was delicious and our host, Elsi, was wonderful. She took great care of us and we loved her! Thanks Elsi for making this experience extra special! :)

Our visit to Neni was great. The four of us enjoyed, among other things, the lamb chops that Elsi had recommended to us. The hummus and babagamush were also excellent. The dessert rounded off the meal perfectly. Thanks to Elsi and the team at Neni for a great evening.

We were served very friendly in the evening. Our waitress Nina was very courteous, personable and spontaneous. Since we didn't allow enough time, she quickly packed the dessert as a take-away and gave it to us. The food was very tasty and the location was very pleasant. We will definitely come back.

The service leaves something to be desired. The unfriendly waiter, the one with the two earrings, stared at me and wanted me to hand him my plate without saying anything, which I did and didn't even get a thank you for it. Actually, that was his job and not mine. But that was just a small detail of the whole evening. Unfortunately service was really bad. And there was no thank you for a tip of 50Fr. 🙄

A fantastic evening with fantastic food and service. The menu contains many culinary surprises that are not commonplace. You can tell everywhere (food, service, ambience) that the management works excellently! I would love to come back and can only recommend the restaurant.

So I've ordered from Neni many times over the past few years and I loved it. What's happened over the past 6-12 months is a a crime against food. I don't understand at all why the Jerusalem Teller went from being a perfectly cooked, charred chicken and veggies to a humus soup that tastes undercooked and cold. I visited today thinking maybe it's just the deliveries but it's absolute disaster.

Very unique dishes and flavours to enjoy in a sharing concept. Got great recommendations and a lovely service throughout the night by Elsi.

I would say it is a decent, stable option for evening, without any “wows”, which is sometimes good. I would recommend the Jerusalem plate and the cheesecake. The salad with Korean chicken used to be much better couple of years ago, this time the chicken was way to much roasted, such that it became dry Aubergines were a bit too spicy for my taste, and the rice that came along was extremely dry, lacked some sauce. Prices are good for Zurich, but again, no high expectations about this place.

A very pleasant and open atmosphere, I would be happy to have Elsi serve me a fine meal here again.

The food is super delicious. The location is beautiful & modern - contemporary. The ambience is pleasant. The pace of service is good. The quality of the food is very good. The location is central right next to Zurich main station.

We spent a very nice evening at Neni, the service was very friendly (big thanks to Elsa/Elia) and fast, we were always asked what we wanted and served quickly, the food was very authentic and tasted good, I had one Jerusalem Plate, a bit too much hummus for me personally (but I also can't tolerate enough chickpeas), the chicken was well seasoned and perfectly fried, I would definitely recommend it! :)

The food at Neni surpassed expectations. The set menu offered up a plethora of gorgeous Middle Eastern dishes, all beautifully presented and explained clearly by our attentive staff. The aubergine, sweet potato and vegan “chicken” were particular highlights and the cheesecake & sesame ice cream deserts were to die for. High level fare at highly reasonable prices, delivered by friendly and knowledgeable staff (our waitress Elsi was an absolute joy!) In beautifully serene and tasteful surroundings accompanied by a sophisticated and soulful musical soundtrack. Highly recommended!

The overall experience at Neni in Zurich left much to be desired. Despite attending the HealPlayLove Festival, the restaurant struggled with basic service elements. Seating was a tedious affair, even with ample space available. The host seating us did not even greet us. The menu, disappointingly, was incredibly limited, making the dining options quite restrictive. Adding to the dissatisfaction was the demeanor of our waitress. She exuded coldness and rudeness, lacking even a basic smile or greeting. It felt like an unwelcoming atmosphere throughout. The culinary disappointment reached its peak with the sweet potato fries, which arrived completely burnt and were, unfortunately, inedible. The troubles extended to the payment process, where an additional 30-minute wait was required, and to make matters worse, they didn't accept Twint. In this day and age, not accommodating popular payment methods is surprising and inconvenient. Considering the plethora of dining options in Zurich, I strongly recommend exploring alternatives. Neni fell short in terms of service, menu variety, and overall dining satisfaction. There are undoubtedly superior places to enjoy a meal in the vibrant city of Zurich.

Elsi made the evening even more beautiful than it already was with the great food, because her very friendly and positive manner made everything even better 😄

Had a great experience here for Christmas Eve while visiting Switzerland. Elsi was our server for dinner and was such a pleasure and even more fun. They had gluten free bread that wasn't listed on the menu and was worth the few minutes to heat up!

Breakfast brunch at Neni, great selection of food, the buffet is not overloaded, but you always discover small highlights and local products that you can try. Overall very tasty. One star deducted for the bland Shakshuka, otherwise it would have been five.

We were able to enjoy a wonderful Christmas dinner with the whole family at Neni. The sharing menu was excellent, the food was delicious and the conditions were very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back :)

The food was extremely tasty. To my surprise it was very inexpensive. Especially at Christmas, you always realize how privileged we are to enjoy such a bombastic meal. Unfortunately, other people in the world are not so lucky. We are lucky to be healthy and live safely.
