I went to the café yesterday and I was delighted to see the faces I recognized from the Le Temps de Vivre restaurant near Chamoson! (One of my favorite restaurants). What a great initiative for the Chateau cafe. You can come and drink a good coffee and eat a Valais plate without hesitation. I am impatiently awaiting the opening of the refreshment bar on the square between the two castles. Good luck to the whole team and see you soon!

In Bremgarten in the old town there is a Bead&Breakfest called “Spatz”. It is located in a very beautiful old house. You will be welcomed by the charming owners. The rooms are simple but cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is rich and prepared by the owner. The price-performance ratio is excellent. In summer there is a small terrace where you can taste something or have a refreshing drink while watching people go by on the main street. The Spatz is a very good address for people who are looking for a simple place with a lot of charm.

A great corner for students! - People like to spend their lunches here, especially if they are attending lectures at vonRoll University anyway. The food was (is) always good, the prices are right (coffee and desserts are especially good value!) and there is even regular live music during the lunch break! A decent alternative to the 'official' university cafeteria vonRoll! A visit is always worth it - a clear recommendation for every student in Bern!
