Good service, friendly atmosphere.

Wir verbrachten den Geburtstag meines Mannes im Restaurant. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und persönlich empfangen, auch ein nettes Präsent fehlte nicht. Sowohl das Couscous als auch das Tajine schmeckten sehr gut. Volle Punktzahl gibt es nur nicht, weil wir es preislich doch am oberen Limit sehen. Trotzdem gerne wieder.

Le restaurant sert un menu à choix. Les plats et la présentation sont parfaits, à l'image d'un restaurant gastronomique.

Die Alpkäserei liegt wunderschön zwischen Rossflue und Giswilerstock. Bei klarem Wetter kann man von hier den Vierwaldstättersee und den Rigi sehen. und ganz besonders schön ist der Sonnenaufgang. Das Essen einfach und gut.

hier stimmt alles: herzlicher Empfang von fachkundigem Personal, ein gut zusammengestelltes Überraschungsmenue (der Saibling auf Sterneniveau), dazu eine Weinbegleitung, die den Sachverstand der Chefin beweist (eine Überraschung der Gewürztraminer aus Küttingen, hohe Qualität aus der Region!). Die Weinkarte ist zudem mehr als fair kalkuliert und bietet eine breite Palette Wir kommen bald wieder

Exzellent gegessen, sowohl der Teller mit Fleisch (Wildsau-Pfeffer, Rotkraut, Marroni und Spätzli) als auch die beiden veganen Teller waren sehr lecker. Hat uns richtig gut geschmeckt. Sehr freundliches Personal, vernünftige Preise, angendhmes Ambiente. Passt!

Beim lesen der Speisekarte kann man die Kreativität des Kücheteams deutlich spüren. Ich wurde belehrt, dass auch ein rein Vegetarisches Abendessen ein Gaumenschmauss sein kann. BRAVO und DANKE

This cafe has a good clientele and the owner is super cool

The meat was among the best I have ever eaten (it cuts like butter!) and generously served with vegetables, French fries and especially this time I had a morel sauce, excellent! I chose a homemade rabbit terrine as a starter, delicious and beautifully presented. We come here in autumn for hunting but all year round the Swiss meat is of very high quality, tender and tasty. Perfectly cooked vegetables, and choice of several sauces. The pretty terrace is above the river and beautiful! It’s worth the detour, I went from Geneva on purpose! The hosts are very welcoming and kind, restaurant only open Friday and Saturday evenings.

My parents lived in the Riedhof for 10 years until their passing and always praised the house, the garden, the food and, above all, the lovely employees.

Very nice and pretty hosts. Very attractive location, especially for women. Top drinks and food like mother’s 😉
