We went to Restaurant Hirschen again after a long time and didn't regret it.
We were greeted warmly and the service was very attentive throughout the evening.
We enjoyed a wonderful white wine from Portugal as an aperitif and were served typical Portuguese appetizers
We enjoyed the “Hot Stone” version with 4 types of meat and the quality of the meat was good. The wine recommendation for the red wine was very good.
We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the evening.
It was a little colder in the evening and they didn't want to serve us on the terrace. Our group was not allowed in because not everyone had a certificate.
For me it was just too expensive, not enough choice but the service was super friendly. For a village pub there should be home cooking with reasonable prices.
Take Away Thai Food: Unfortunately the Pad Thai was anything but “Thai style”. The noodles tasted more like they had simply been tossed in sweet and sour sauce and were completely bland. The Fride Rice was just as bland, no garlic, no seasoning. Just not at all what you would expect from a Thai…
