The perch filet meunière and fries were wonderful, as were the boiled potatoes (soft and not hard and glassy like "modern" chefs do), the starter salad was fresh and varied, the passion fruit mousse was fine and the white wine Réselle from our own vineyard went wonderfully with it. The service is nice and efficient. All in all, highly recommended.

I'm a little disappointed because it's probably the fourth time I've stood in front of the Caveau for free. On the internet it says open and there is a stop on the door. Due to holidays until... Is it so time-consuming to update the opening times online?

We were eating Treberwurst sausage with a whole group. The cellar is very stylish, you sit in old barrels. The food and wine are both top! I can only recommend it!

My visit to Restaurant du Lac was a thoroughly positive experience that I can highly recommend to everyone. From the first moment we were warmly welcomed, and the ambience of the restaurant right on the shore of Lake Biel was breathtaking. The scenic view of the lake coupled with the soothing sound of the water created a perfect backdrop for our meal. As far as the dining experience goes, the highlight was definitely the pike. I have rarely enjoyed such exquisitely prepared fish. It was perfectly seasoned, golden on the outside and wonderfully juicy on the inside - a true masterpiece of culinary art. The Härdöpfeli complemented the dish harmoniously and rounded off the taste experience. The staff was extremely friendly and competent, gave us recommendations and made sure we didn't lack anything. In short, Restaurant du Lac offers a fantastic combination of delicious food, breathtaking views and first-class service. A visit here is not just a meal, but a holistic experience. If you are on Lake Biel and are looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, you should definitely visit Restaurant du Lac.

The restaurant was fully booked, but the chef still hold a table open for us. We came by boat and their service was great.

The Bernese wine cellar is very impressive and is well suited for larger groups. I was allowed to reconnoiter a trip for a group of about 20 people and in this context I got to know the cellar. Interesting objects from the wine-growing region are exhibited there >> great job.

Not exactly cheap, but: top location, nice staff with a great boss, solid cuisine and top wines. A bit busy on Sundays, perfect during the week. In Zurich you are milked much more for poor performance... drink angel beer! Tastes delicious. Update March 24: still good; perfectly fried char!

Yesterday, five of us spontaneously went to the Gottstatterhaus at lunchtime without a reservation - we received a very friendly welcome and were given a nice table. The perch fillet “Mariage” was excellent and the service was top-notch! Price / performance perfect - I would love to come back next time ❤️

Bei unserem Ausflug an den Bielersee mit Seerundfahrt sind wir voll auf die Rechnung gekommen. Bereits die Tischreservarion vom Vortag klappte sehr gut. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und ebenso bedient. Die Speisekarte ist beschränkt aber für eine Schiffsküche durchaus vertretbar. Gutes Preis / Leistungs Verhältnis. Schöne Bielerseeweine zu vernünftigen Preisen.

Nice. Small surprise because we had not been aware of the change in management. But despite a disappointment with Friborg bruschetta, good pizzas.
