Rustic atmosphere, absolutely appropriate and authentic. Menu is rather small, but top quality and very inexpensive. Very tasty cordon bleu! Charming, very friendly landlady. Attention, cash payment only. 😁 I/we will definitely come back! Thank you for the great evening!

There is no better place to stay

Zimmer sehr gemütlich, schöne grösse, heimelig mit viel Holz und Liebe eingerichtet.Essen sehr gut alles Frisch zubereitet. Die Forelle ein Traum.Das Wirtepaar und Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.Der Aufenthalt wahr für meine Frau und mich absolut entspannend.Auch unsere zwei grossen Hunde waren ebenfalls sehr willkommen. Wahr sicher nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt im Hotel Gemse.

Es war nicht so lange her als mein Familienangehöriger aus Kroatien etwas bestellen wollte und die Kellnerin sagte "wir bedienen keine Ausländer".

I come here from Zurich specifically for the delicious bratwurst with fries! We also have Migros restaurants here, but they are nowhere near as fine as the restaurant here in Sargans. Me and my family were 100% satisfied every time please keep doing it

Friendly staff, sweet children's corner, but it should be cleaned more

Very disappointing, I've been there several times but the food keeps getting worse. Today is the highlight. Won't go anymore. Dürüm cold, some salad, a little meat and that for 12.- is not possible.

Staff is unfriendly. Especially when I don't have any cash, I'm disrespectfully asked to go to an ATM, EVEN THOUGH it has a card reader! In addition, meat is sometimes saved. The only plus point is that it is open on Sundays.

I went shopping with my family today and treated ourselves to a little break in the Cafe Lounge. My daughter was playing with the toy horses that were there. At the end the bill came and we were simply charged 2.- for the children's pony. I think this is a disgrace, it isn't written anywhere and it wasn't pointed out to anyone. I think the second option is justified if you don't consume anything, but certainly not if you consume something there.
