Offers a cozy Swiss experience with its charming chalet ambiance and crackling fireplace. Their local dishes, especially the fireplace raclette, are a delight. The staff is quite knowledgable and goes the extra mile with recommendations. The only downsides are the need for a car to get there and the necessity of booking in advance for weekends.
thank you again for this always quality meal with local products
We have been coming for 50 years and we still have the same welcome and the same quality!
I had a chance to stay a night in the hotel, regretting today that it was only one. Hospitable, charming staff creates an unforgettable atmosphere, blended with the sentiment of neighbouring Swiss Alps. The hotel decoration is influenced by a chalet style. The place is obviously reachable by a car, however a bus stop is 250 m away, from where a ~ 1 hour trip to Sierre connects you to a train network.
We ate there in the evening, we expected better. The reviews were good and the menu was small so a good sign.... Finally quite disappointed, we had the chicken (with gratin and vegetables). The chicken, although the piece seemed of very good quality) was very very dry...and served without sauce to make up for it. It must have cooked too quickly for too long. The bland vegetables and gratin of no particular interest...Also the wait for the dish was a little long...Remains the young waitress, smiling and efficient, good point.
