Toscana in Luzern

Service wasn't that attentive, despite there being few guests. The toilet smelled extremely. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the restaurant lost a bit of charm after the renovation. Bruschetta was hard to enjoy. The main course was fine, but I've eaten better here.

Very fine Tuscan cuisine with pizzas. Or highly recommended Campas Pilpi with a legendary saffron sauce.

We were there spontaneously for the carnival. Good restaurant, fine pizza, nice service. Good price/performance 5 stars. We will be back.

Extremely rude old person who refused to seat a family of 10 with kids. The waitress was ready but the old man came a refused seating saying they were booked even though the whole restaurant was empty. If you have kids I would recommend you don’t go here as they won’t entertain you!

Excellent Italian, I would definitely go back. We got lasagna and the seafood risotto. The risotto was some of my favorite anywhere - if I go back, I might get the same. We wanted dessert but we're too stuffed. Service was attentive, friendly and excellent.

Small restaurant that's easy to miss. Read the operating hours posted on the door, on the initial day we wanted to go for dinner it was only open for lunch so had to wait till the next day. Definitely recommend their Paella, better than what we've had in some parts of Spain. Price is reasonable (for Switzerland). The minimum order is two, but... the serving size is enough for 3 or 4. Service was prompt.

American tourists, this place is outstanding! Had lunch on April 24, 2023. Arrived right at opening at 11:30am. By noon, the place was packed. Had a bowl of pasta, a pizza, and a large sparkling water for $60 (US). Much better than the $90 (US) we paid for a burger, fish and chips, and two beers, the day before. Highly recommended

After five visits to Restaurant Toscana, I decided to write a review here too. In summer it is very comfortable to eat outside. Unfortunately, the restaurant is right on a main street and therefore suffers from traffic noise. The interior area impresses with its view of the Pizzaiolo, which is particularly exciting for children. Otherwise, the furnishings don't exactly blow you away and it's rather narrow and small. The host couple are generally very nice and well-positioned, but you can feel their stress and there have been a few small mistakes with the orders or you have forgotten to bring the drinks in advance. Unfortunately the quality of the pizza decreased on the last visit. On the other four visits I couldn't fault the food. But the prices are very proud. If the quality doesn't decrease any further, I'll give it a 4-star rating. For a 5-star rating, something has to happen with the food (that certain something + consistently high quality) so that the price-performance ratio is justified and the service needs to be improved. Otherwise, you can definitely recommend the restaurant for a cozy dinner.

I love old fashioned restaurants but this restaurant is tasteless. The service lady was nice but completely overwhelmed and so firm that she simply poured the wine into the glass. The pizza took way too long and was not edible at all. The Coop frozen pizza would have been better. The name Toscana shouldn't be there, it's an insult to Tuscany.

Well, the pizza is rather below average. However, price-performance is okay. Staff also very friendly.

The staff was so nice and friendly, and even though we had to wait a little (the restaurant was very crowded), they apologized for it and the quality of our meals was worth the wait. We’ll remember this place for our next trip to Lucerne.

I can only rate the service: poor, very, very, very poor!! The old waiter got very angry because we, four people, just ordered a soup each. He said it was not ok to order just that and he was very rude. I even heard him saying to one of his colleagues that he would charge us if we wanted some extra bread. So we decided to leave. Ended up having a delicious soup with freshly baked bread, just 2 minute walk from there, at Antons, where the staff were extremely friendly!!

Delicious garlic soup for starters and salmon noodles for the main course. The service was very friendly, we would like to come back.

“Small but nice” that was my first impression. And I was right. Great ambience. Yesterday was the first time in the “Wirtschaft zum Bruchtor Ristorante Toscana” which has existed for over 80 years. The pizza comes out of the wood oven...super delicious. Today it was a green salad as a starter, very good dressing. And then pasta with salmon and vegetables. Everything to the point. The service is also great...super nice and attentive. Any time. Have a good meal

I really liked the food it was so delicious, but there's something I would like to mention. the service was pretty bad. I asked the waiter to cut for me the pizza but she replied so rudely saying that I can't cut it myself. And don't go there if you hate bugs.

I called to ask about a reservation (the website said you could no longer make a reservation online and to call). The first time they simply hung up, then Mr. González was very, very cheeky on the phone. Whatever I want, he's stressed and doesn't have time for me all day! I told him that's not how you treat guests! He said he was looking forward to the bad review when I informed him about it. I would have happily taken an hour to drive there. But it looks like they no longer need to treat guests kindly after all the Covid measures! It's an outrage and I'll definitely take a walk and express my opinion in person! You can also eat well somewhere else, because you'll lose your appetite straight away.

Friendly waitress, another very dishonest older waiter. Because traffic delayed us 30 minutes and yelled at us when we arrived. Then to finish eating a simple pizza. Because he didn't want to prepare paella for us since it was going to close 1h30-2h after our arrival. I really don't recommend it. disrespect.

Has good Italian food. Really liked what the waitress looked like, she was also very nice and gave us free water 💧. The food was as expected really enjoyable, for me I especially enjoyed the red wine they suggested even though it was a bit on the pricy side

Went there for lunch. It's actually quite busy and the seating is a bit cramped. However, it still suited us. The service staff tried very hard and were friendly. The menu is classic Italian. The food was really excellent, really tasty. At the end there was a dessert menu. I think with a la carte guests you could ask about dessert in advance, otherwise we would have liked to order a dessert from the menu.

Ein „originales“ italienisches Restaurant mit leckeren Spezialitäten und ausgezeichneten Pizzen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt voll und ganz. Das Lokal liegt zentral, jedoch nicht in Mitten der Touristenattraktionen. Es hat einige Aussensitzplätze.

Die Auslese finde ich dicht gefächert und bisher hat was auch immer ganz und gar bombastisch gemundet, was ich vor mir serviert bekommen habe.Aus meiner Sicht ist ein Abstecher da durchweg zu empfehlen.Alle Tische wurden makellos geputzt und die Sitzgelegenheiten waren ungemein bequem.Wirklich schneller und netter Dienst. Ich finde, dass das ganze Personal dort einen tollen Job gemacht hat.

Never was inclined to visit until my work took us for a company lunch. It was amazing and I couldn't believe the value you get for what you pay. It isn't more expensive than a moderately upscale sit down dinner in downtown SLC. Great food and fantastic service at good prices. Will return.

Hier meine Bewertung:1) Gestaltung, Dekoration, Licht, Ambiente sind nicht schön, aber das ist hier nicht so relevant für einen guten Abend.2) Sehr freundlicher, kompetenter und herzlicher Service.3) Das Essen ist in Form, Farbe, Geschmack, Zubereitung und Haptik gut.4) Die Preise sind für das Gebotene voll in Ordnung.Ich würde wieder hingehen.

Sehr unhöfliche Bedienung vom Besitzer höchstpersönlich. Wurden, weil wir kein Nachtisch oder Kaffee nahmen so gut wie rausgedrängt. Nie wieder!

Wir sind am Mittag jeweils öfters im Toscana, da es direkt um die Ecke ist. Die Bedingung ist immer super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wünsche können angebracht werden und sie tun das Möglichste, um diese zu erfüllen. Sehr gute Pizzas.

Mi hijo y yo visitamos este encantador lugar para cenar en nuestra primera noche de nuestra estancia en Lucerna. Estaba a poca distancia de nuestro hotel. Nos saludaron y nos sentamos de inmediato. Descubrí que la camarera era de Portugal muy amable y servicial, y el propietario era nativo de España. Todo se veía genial. Pedimos el risotto de mariscos y una pizza de piedra. Fue increíble. Con una influencia española del propietario, los sabores de los platos brillaban. Fue encantador incluso para el postre? la camarera se aseguró de que estuviéramos felices y lo hizo una gran noche!

Kürzlich und völlig spontan zum Nachtessen in diesem Lokal zu Gast. Da wir nur mit mässig grossem Hunger unterwegs waren, haben wir zum Essen "nur" je eine Pizza bestellt. Was uns aber serviert wurde, hat unsere Erwartungen klar übertroffen und steht klar über anderen guten italienischen Restaurants der Region.Freundlichkeit, Zuvorkommenheit und Qualität scheinen in diesem Restaurant "gross geschrieben" zu sein.Sehr angenehme Bedienung und der Service ganz allgemein wie man es sich wünscht.Preis/Leistung meiner Ansicht nach ganz ok.Fazit: So empfehlenswert, dass wir gleich nächste Woche wieder reserviert haben :-)

Aufmerksame Bedienung, unkompliziert, zum Beispiel, wenn man etwas am Menu ändern will. Ausserdem gute Qualität zu einem fairen Preis.

Hat gut geschmeckt. Spanische und italienische Leckereien. In der gemütlichen Stube oder vor dem Haus. Zweiteres jedoch etwas laut wegen der Strasse. Eine Empfehlung bleibt es trotzdem...

Das Tischdeko auf den Plätzen und im gesamten Restaurant ist sinnvoll und ästhetisch. Die Toilette ist konstant rein und allem in allem vermittelt das Lokal einen schönen Eindruck. Testet jene einzigartige Küche, auf der Speisekarte ist in der Regel für jeden was dabei. Danke. Die Kellner sind jedes Mal besonders sympathisch und überaus verbindlich. Das macht mir und meinen Mann bei jedem Besuch voll viel Wohlgefallen. Ich war schon lange nicht mehr so fasziniert von einem Restaurant.

Restaurant un peu à l écart de la foule. C est très bien. Tables en extérieur. Une belle carte avec spécialités espagnoles et surtout italiennes. Pizza excellente : pate fine et garniture en quantité et qualité. Le personnel est très sympa. Une très bonne adresse pour un restaurant italien a Lucerne.

Mi esposo y yo disfrutamos de una deliciosa comida esta noche en el restaurante Toscana. Nos detuvimos alrededor de las 5 después de hacer turismo y reservamos una mesa para 2 a las 7 PM. Nos preguntaron en ese momento qué mesa nos gustaría. Nos señaló y la camarera dijo que sí. Honestamente, no asumí que una vez que el negocio se recuperara más tarde, seríamos recordados en términos de qué mesa elegimos.Llegamos unos minutos antes de las 7 y la camarera nos reconoció tan pronto como dijimos que teníamos una reserva. Ya estábamos limpios y parecíamos diferentes hace un par de horas. . Nos sentamos y nos dieron menús de inmediato. El menú ofrecía muchos artículos diferentes, como pasta, pizza y paella. Elegimos una botella de vino y fue fantástico. Había 2 damas esperando en 6 o 7 mesas y estaban ocupadas. Después de nuestra copa de vino inicial, tuvimos que esperar un poco para que vierta la copa siguiente. Esto no fue un problema porque fueron muy amables y se disculparon. Sabíamos que estaban trabajando tan rápido como pudieron. No esperamos mucho tiempo de ninguna manera. Para la cena, elegí la pasta con salsa de tomate, albahaca, ajo, crema y vodka. Mi marido eligió la paella de marisco. La camarera explicó que tenía un precio de 2 pero dijo que lo comprobaría. Regresó rápidamente y dijo que un plato de paella para 1 estaría bien. Este fue un gran servicio, especialmente porque mi esposo se ofreció a pedir otra cosa sin ningún problema. Nuestra comida era increíble. Las raciones eran grandes. No podía comer toda mi pasta y apenas había comido en todo el día. El vino fue fenomenal. El servicio fue estupendo. No puedo creer que no haya reseñas recientes. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante. Nos alojamos en el Hotel Drei Koneig y este restaurante está a 5 minutos a pie como máximo.

Pizza war gut! Service war absolut katastrophal.

Wir waren hier gestern Abend zum Essen, empfohlen von ein Local. Erstmal hatten wir einen tollen Tisch in der Ecke, so dass unserem Hund nicht allzuviel im Weg lag! Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch nicht wenig! Service war sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Ich könnte sogar mein schlechtes Spanisch mit dem Wirt üben! Alles im allen eine herzliche Empfehlung. Un collègue suisse après nous avoir fait visiter Lucerne nous a emmené dans ce restaurant. Proche du centre historique et pourtant à l abri des touristes... bel accueil avec le sourire, les plats sont diversifiés et copieux... Pour ma part je suis resté dans la cuisine traditionnelle suisse : un velouté crémeux aux asperges suivi d un saumon accompagné d asperges, de riz, de brocolis et de carottes : excellent...Kenavo ar wech all

Gehe immer wieder in dieses Restaurant und wurde noch nie entäuscht - Leckeres Essen, freundliches und tollerantes Personal. Man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Die Einrichtung ist angenehm und der Chef des Restaurants ein sehr sympatischer Mann. Alles in allem ist das Toscana eines meiner lieblings Restaurants.

Wir gehen schon seit Jahren da essen sind sehr zufrieden. Top Qualität und über die Jahre immer Spitzen-Service. Wir schätzen auch, dass unsere Kleinkinder (2 und 4) immer herzlichen willkommen sind. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre ist schon fast KULT!

Am Mittag werden drei Dreigänge Menüs angeboten. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundlicher und schneller Service. Italienisch, rustikales Ambiente. Empfehlenswert.

Das Essen war gut und der Service war recht gut, wenn auch etwas langsam. Das Trinken von Leitungswasser an unseren Tisch war an den meisten Orten, an denen wir geblieben waren, ein Kampf. Dies war keine Ausnahme. Es hat mich überrascht, dass es 3 Dollar kostet. Unser Essen war heiß und lecker. Es war in der Nähe unseres Hotels und des Sees. Ich würde empfehlen.

Erstaunlich gute und flotte Bedienung. Alle acht Personen am Tisch erhielten zur gleichen Zeit die Bestellten Seisen. Kurze Wartezeit. Sehr freundliche Bedienung auch durch den Wirt. Gute italienische Küche, preiswert.

Wie immer genial! Gemütlich, lecker, freundlich, preiswert

Sessel in der Raucherlounge sind ja gut gemeint aber man sitzt zu tief und dann vor allem so weit hinten, dass ein Dialog über den Tisch hinweg mit dem Gegenüber fast nicht mehr möglich ist. Funktioniert also nur in gefestigten Beziehungen.
