Alpwirtschaft Obere First in Vitznau

I think it's great that in a restaurant like this (Bäsebeiz) you can only pay in cash. Food and drink prices are average. The service is Swiss and appropriate for such a place. Definitely try the Läbchuechä, it is more than a hit. I would love to come back.

Nice farm restaurant, nice cheese plate, often a bit stressed staff, but still my favorite stop in this area.

Very friendly owner and nice service. Unfortunately our cash was only enough for 2 coffees, next time we'll definitely eat something from the small but delicious menu!

Large selection of warm drinks, which were served very quickly. Very friendly service staff who also gave us information about the next departure times of the cog railway. Unfortunately, card payments/TWINT are not accepted here. A pity!

Incredibly unfriendly and even though it is clear that only cash is taken (everyone can now imagine why) this is extremely outdated these days (Twint would solve the problem!)

A small, good restaurant good for a drink or something similar.

Nice small mountain restaurant, friendly waiters (for mountain standards) and home like kitchen. Extremely appreciated resting place because it was the only one open in a very windy weekend. Sale of local cheese. No card payment allowed, only cash or twint

Great hospitality at this farm restaurant while hiking on Mount Rigi. Our sausages were delicious and when asked the hostess offered a plate of lovely vegetables, each individually cooked, in lieu of fries. Beer, cider all delicious and at a more than fair price. What a lovely surprise in a beautiful day. Only issue was the flies (cost of the amazing outdoor view ! )

Quaint little restaurant with a small but fine selection of food. The service was very quick, friendly and accommodating. The prices are also very pleasant and are very reasonable despite the mountain location. Ideal lunch break while skiing. Bratwurst with bread: 8.50 Bratwurst with fries: 15.50

I loved the interior decoration, as soon as you enter this chalet you feel comfortable. The manager was friendly and we ate well. For my part, a cordon bleu with fries and beans. I will come back with pleasure

You always have to stop off at the Obere First Alpine Farm, a lonely peak...

The nature trail with the indigenous plants and of course the view from the rock path are interesting.

Very authentic restaurant right off the hiking path, run by very friendly husband and wife. All desserts made from scratch and cream straight from their own cows. Only about a 20 minute beautiful walk from the Rigi-Kaltbad train station/cable car.

Very good and inexpensive food...drinks also inexpensive. Also ideal for children.
