Disastrous restaurant, feeling of being disturbed and strong smell of tobacco throughout the restaurant. Hygiene really leaves something to be desired (hair found in a dish of spaghetti), I strongly advise against it!

Sorry to say our experience at this restaurant wasn't good. We ordered two types of spaghetti and neither was very good. I didn't finish mine. The bruschetta was subpar as well. The service was good despite being busy and having only one person serving tables. In a city with so many good dining options, it's difficult to recommend this one.

We ordered from eat.ch and waited a whole hour. Tried to reach her by phone twice, then Angolo canceled the order without consulting her. This is an impudence, disrespectful. So I can't recommend ordering there.

I've never had such a bad meal in a restaurant as I did in this one!! I ordered a carbonara..got a plate of spaghetti with egg and stinky bacon (topped off with a teaspoon of tomato sauce) the carbonara was pink in color!! The waiter also had the nerve to ask if it tasted good...I told him that he should rename the carbonara...to pasta with egg and bacon!!The food isn't even worth one star!!People don't though!!!greatest rip off Switzerland!!!Word of honor!!!

The food wasn't delicious. The weather was nice so it was nice to be able to eat on the outdoor terrace, and the server was very friendly.

Fine pizza and pasta. Eating al fresco in summer while watching the tourist flow to the Lion Monument. A special experience. The waiting time to be able to place an order is a bit too long, but it also seems like they don't have enough staff, like so many places. So always stay calm and watch the tourists.

Location is great - but I didn't like the pizza at all and the service leaves something to be desired.

We are visiting from the US and walked in with 9 starving people. They greeted us with excitement, took our order and bright the folks out quickly. It was VERY refreshing to eat in a pleasant atmosphere after a long trip! Food was amazing! We had the Margerita pizza, carbonara, bolognese, curry pasta. Everything was amazing!!

After what happened there with that waiter, I would NEVER eat there!

First of all, we just wanted to eat the starter as a snack and then continue, so I can't judge the pizza or pasta. When we arrived we got a seat very quickly and not long afterwards we got the ticket. This only includes wine as a drink and then the food. When asked what non-alcoholic drink I could order, he said "everything" and seemed annoyed. For food we ordered bruschetta and garlic bread. It took quite a long time for the food to arrive because in the end it was baked rolls with herb butter and tomatoes and garlic bread, a baked roll with garlic butter and cheese gratinated. At the end, the waiter doesn't ask if it was tasty because he probably already knew that it wasn't worth the money. According to the feedback rules, something positive now. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy.

One of the best pizza spots I’ve been to. This is an underrated gem because we were just touring around and came across this place with not much hype. We had such tasty and authentic pizza and fries. And the price is very friendly compared to the rest as well!

Probably the worst pizza I had in years. The dough was hard , no yeast used or no time to let it raise. Cheap ingredients , certainly no mozzarelle was used. Just bad 80' german style pizza . Disappointing

A very good Asian take away. The duck is absolutely recommended. Nicely cooked through and you don't have the "gloppy" fat taste that ducks are known for. From hot to mild to tofu, everything is included. Price top

I ate lunch outside in front of Bourbaki today. Friendly welcome and fast service. The menus are not physically very attractive. But the choice of food is simple and totally ok. I decided on the chicken wrap. Food was good and great considering the price/performance comparison.

Went to Angolo in 2014, and have been missing it since. I remembered it was a cold rainy day. We were so hungry after visiting the Lion monument. The food was good. The apple pie was made on the spot, and it was literally the best I've ever eaten everywhere. Hope to visit again. cheers from singapore

Nice, affordable Italian cuisine. If you're on a budget or simply want somewhere nice to eat, whether its Pasta or Pizza then this is the place to come. I ate here twice whilst I was in Lucerne - July 2019 and it was absolutely delicious. The guy who served me was super friendly and helpful. The service was top notch. I didn't have to wait long for my food and it was super tasty. Portion sizes are good and price is very reasonable. You can find this place on the way to the Lowendenkmal (Lion Monument).

Service was meh and Food was ok.

Our kids loved the pizza and spaghetti. The wife and I had salads that were very good. If you're looking for a light meal after the Lion Monument, this is a good choice. Like all European restaurants, don't expect your food or service to be super fast. Relax and enjoy the people watching. If you're in a hurry, there's a cafe across the street.

Pasta Pollito tasted like it had been cooked by a blind chef with no sense of taste. The chicken was hard cooked, partly with cartilage and bones and tasted like cheap antibiotic chicken from Brazil. The courier was unfriendly and complained because we paid separately for 2 pastas at 20 francs each (with a tip!). The portions were large. But that was little consolation for me. The rest ended up in the trash anyway I cannot recommend it and will only eat in this horrible restaurant again when hell freezes over.

Toilet facility closed, supposedly only one toilet in Bourbaki UG. I think it's an impertinence and against the trade law, just to save cleaning costs. Flop!

Really fine, thin pizzas from the stone oven, but also schnitzel and even cordon bleu are on the menu. If you prefer to eat at home, you can have it delivered to your home...

Absolutely bad service and 🤢 food! We order bruschetta and got burned bread with chopped tomato 🍅topped with balsamic oil no taste of garlic or sign of any cheese , the main food was ok nothing special , very expensive drinks and food are overcharged for Pizza place. 🙈

Wir waren nur über die Straße von diesem Joint und einer späten Nacht um 10 Uhr. Um 30 Uhr gingen wir nach einem italienischen Abendessen. Zu unserer Überraschung hatten alle Restaurants mit den besten italienischen Bewertungen in der Nachbarschaft ihre Küche geschlossen. Ich meine 10. 30 Uhr ist nicht so spät. Dazu gehörten Bargati und andere bekannte Gelenke. So enttäuschend wie wir waren, begrüßte Angolo uns mit offenen Armen, wo wir eine köstliche Pasta und Pizza Carbonara zusammen mit Caesar Salat genossen. Anständiger authentischer Geschmack muss ich sagen.

Great little place! After visiting the area we were hungry and this was the first place we came across. Don't understand why the reviews aren't that good, we had a lovely meal! Shared the bruschetta and a "wishpizza" with salami and onions and it was delicious! Great taste for a relatively cheap price and the owner(?) is really kind as well and comes over for a chat. Would definitely recommend, don't miss out!

Vicino al Leone Dormiente, abbiamo trovato questo locale. Il prezzo esposto fuori non corrisponde a quello del menù e questo fatto non è molto carino. Per il resto nulla da dire. Sia pasta che pizza assolutamente buoni e porzioni decisamente perfette. Abbiamo pagato il giusto, visto il luogo fantastico e assolutamente turistico. Molto buono.

Wir hatten das Bruschetta, welches sehr gut abgeschmeckt und angerichtet war und die Pizza Quattro stagioni, welche mit frischen Zutaten und einem hervorragenden Boden präsentiert wurde und ausgezeichnet schmeckte. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden Angolo jederzeit weiterempfehlen und erneut besuchen. Macht weiter so!

Very good pizzas, we ordered 3 varieties and we loved them. The pizzas are personal but they are large portions so if you don't eat a lot they can be enough for two people. It's not expensive, it's a friendly, welcoming place and they serve you well.

Es ist schwierig, gutes Essen in Luzern zu einem vernünftigen Preis zu finden, so war es ekstatisch, dieses Juwel von einem Ort zu finden. Das Essen war super und das alles zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Wir saßen draußen um ca. 6:30 Uhr, und es war reizend (stimmen Sie mit den anderen Bewertungen überein, dass das Innere nichts ist, worüber man nach Hause schreiben könnte, weshalb wir draußen gegessen haben).Die Pizza war fantastisch, und ich kann es wagen, einige der besten, die ich außerhalb von Italien hatte. Der Gorgonzola Gnocchi war genauso toll, mit erstaunlichen Geschmack und perfekt gemacht Pasta.

Very rude older gentleman who welcomed us last Sunday around 5:30. I immediately noted that the stroller was annoying. We then said we wouldn't eat here and he countered, you're right! Outrageous!!!! Never again!

Wir sind Amerikaner Einwanderer leben jetzt in Luzern 6 Monate. Versuchen Sie neue Veranstaltungsort wollte sich in Laufweite vom Appartement. Nach einem kurzen Spaziergang den Hügel runter kamen wir auf das aussah wie ein ansprechendes Restaurant. Wir versehentlich saßen an einem der 11 leere Tische (Dienstag) . Wir waren fast sofort von einem Manager entwendet informiert war, diese Tabelle " vorbehalten " . Leider konnten wir nicht unterscheiden sich von den anderen 10 leere Tische mit dem gleichen Zeichen. interessiert, er hat uns zu einem Tisch geschoben und eine weitere " vorbehalten " Zeichen. Was sie scheinen zu vergessen ist, dass wir wollen unser Business. Wie auch immer, viel zu viele andere gute Alternativen in der Innenstadt von Luzern. Vermeiden Sie auf alle Kosten, da dies Veranstaltungsort ist nicht kundenfreundlicher und ganz ehrlich gesagt scheint anti American.

Rentrant de voyage, je me suis rendu à plusieurs restaurant, les cuisines étaient déjà fermées le vendredi soir entre 22h15 - 22h30. C'est vraiment étonnant pour une ville à vocation touristique.Je suis donc allé au Angolo, le cadre n'est pas magnifique mais au moins c'était encore ouvert. J'ai commandé des spaghettis carbonara, un thé froid et un tiramisu à emporter. Les spaghettis étaient moyen et portion bien généreuse (17.50-). Le tiramisu est bonne mais chère, une petite portion pour 8-.La cuisine n'est pas top mais au moins elle est ouverte jusqu'à 23h. Le prix est ok. Le service est rapide et sympa

Went for a lunch last year and ordered a pizza, tasted badly and was clearly made with unfrozen toppings.My friend ordered a pasta, and I did chew frozen vegatables with a "pre made" sauce. Prices were similar to other restaurants on the same area which is unfair considering the poor quality of food! Service was bad, food even worst.

We were there on 9th of January 2016. In short: worst and the weirdest restaurant experience. After placing an order, the waitress almost whispered us not to take the chosen food as it is "not very good". Once the (suggested) food came, it was clear that we got 4 varieties of the same frozen pizza. I am not a picky person, but it was hard to finish it, and my friends felt the same. This is not acceptable for such a central and touristic place. P.S. To response from the owner: 1) I was there one year ago. It would be time to improved your waitress. 2) Even pictures attached to your profile are clearly frozen pizzas. 3) To repeat, I was (unfortunately) in your restaurant 1 year ago. 4) see 1. 5) I have no profile picture. I hope you can improve your services for the benefit of honest tourists hoping to get a decent meal. Regards

En ce jour de Noël, nous sommes arrivés au Angola vers 14h30, la cuisine travaillait toujours. Le restaurant était peu rempli (4 tables occupées). Nous avons commandé 2 pizzas: une mexicaine et une "sur mesure". La mexicaine était bonne, l'autre était un peu plus sèche et la tomate était plus blanche que rouge. L'addition finale était de 52 francs pour 2 pizzas boissons y compris. Le service était sympa et rapide.

Bestellte ein Ceasar Salat, war eigentlich nicht schlecht, aber es dauerte 45 Minuten, bis unser Essen auf den Tisch und 10 Minuten mehr für mein Salat weil es wurde vergessen. vergessen Sie auch ein anderes Vorspeise. Der Kellner war nicht auf eine sehr gute Stimmung und er war eigentlich gut roch, nicht sehr frisch.Niemand war sehr zufrieden, besonders mit dem Service und Stimmung.Würde nicht wiederkommen.

Siamo arrivati verso le 13.30 pensando di mangiare qualcosa di veloce. Purtroppo abbiamo dovuto fare i conti con una marcata disorganizzazione della cucina. C'era un unico cuoco che doveva preparare sia le pizze che gli altri piatti. Peccato, perché a fronte del suo impegno nel cercare di accontentare tutti, il disservizio è stato notevole. Pizze bruciacchiate e tempi biblici. Qualche piatto non era disponibile per mancanza di ingredienti. Poi improvvisamente è comparso un cuoco in più a dare man forte e sono arrivati degli alimenti. Personale stressato e litigioso perché non poteva nascondere il disagio per la disorganizzazione. La nostra esperienza è stata decisamente negativa.

Die Pizzeria Angolo am Löwenplatz ist eine durchschnittliche Pizza in Luzern . Die Pizzen sind nicht gut belegt, aber nach Luzerner Niveau entsprechen sie dem Durchschnitt und sind im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis noch ok. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam.

Dies ist freundlich einfach Pizza Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr gut, und das zu einem angemessenen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.Die Atmosphäre ist gut und die Auswahl von Hintergrundmusik war ausgezeichnet für mich (1980 Rock) war aber nicht laut oder aufdringlich. Es war immer noch leicht, sich mit anderen zu unterhalten.

Habe gemäss Tageskarte Spaghetti Bolognese mit Olivenöl, Rübli und Zwiebeln zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Sollte dann 2 Chf mehr bezahlen, weil ich es nicht im Restaurant essen wollte. Das Essen wurde vor meinen Augen zubereitet: In einer schmutzigen Pfanne, mit billigem Rapsöl anstatt Olivenöl, mit kaltgestellten Nudel und als dann auch noch die Sosse aus dem Barillaglas drübergekippt wurde, habe ich verlangt, dass das Essen storniert wird. Das Personal war überfordert, sprach kaum Deutsch. Insgesamt hat man den Eindruck, die Geschäftsführung ist einfach nur auf schnelles Geld aus. Auf Kosten der Kunden und Mitarbeiter. Nie mehr

La encontramos al lado del hotel el día que llegamos a Lucerna y pese a ser tarde para ellos (21:00), cerraban a las 21.30 nos dieron de cenar amablemente. Variedad de pizzas, ensaladas y pastas. Cenamos una pizza grande y una ensalada con atún (muy completa) más dos bebidas por 48 euros. Buen precio para Suiza
