Such a great place. Food was superb and the service was perfect

Table reserved at 7 p.m. for 4 people, everything worked out, order was taken for food and drink, wine and starter arrived in an acceptable time frame, our colleague reminded the waiter twice that he had ordered a grappa to toast before the starter, which he finally got after the starter. The main course didn't come at all, when we asked where the main course we had ordered was (at 8.30 p.m.) we were put off with the saz, coming straight away, the same sentence was on the way even after waiting 15 minutes, the neighboring tables had this one In time we got the whole menu and were paying again. Despite the Honky Tonk Live Music Festival, I had the feeling that this restaurant had the organization under control, we were again put off by the head of service that it would come soon, unfortunately our patience was exhausted We finished waiting and got up and said goodbye. Who wants to pay for entry to the festival and food on an evening like this and then sit there the whole evening and wait for the food? Our consumption was credited as a make-up, but the evening didn't put us off, especially when the honky tonk with live music takes place once a year. My opinion is that the service employee Aleks couldn't make it to the kitchen with our order, he was already very busy and seemed stressed. In any case, the Bellini Locanda doesn't get any stars from me except for the ambience and I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone else. If you have such a high status in the catering industry, then such incidents shouldn't happen and none of the employees came to apologize that a mistake had been made, except for persuasion to stay and the reassurance with the sentence "yes, it will come soon".

If anyone complains about rising prices in the catering industry, it's best to eat at home anyway, otherwise if you want to be welcomed by a real Italian host and served by a top Viennese waiter (in the middle of Lucerne), this is the perfect place to dine and linger. Bravissimo

If you are having any reservations about this restaurant based on other/older reviews… Ignore them and treat yourself to a truly inspired meal. Service, atmosphere, and especially the food was amazing! Antonio recommended perfect wine and food selections. Salad, risotto, pork, duck, deserts all perfectly prepared, with great flavor profiles! Highly recommend this gem of Luzern.

While the prices are not that excessive, the Bellini could be recommended without reservation. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not particularly advantageous. So the recommendation remains a bit poor. If you don't have to look at your wallet, you're definitely in good hands in Bellini. In summer, a beautiful outdoor space invites you to manage. This doesn't justify the expensive prices, but it is at least a reason to spend a warm summer evening in Bellini

A very authentic place with very fine meat dishes.

Five of us had dinner at Bellini on a Saturday evening. It took 40 minutes for the starter to be brought (and only green salad was brought instead of the mixed salad). We then waited another 60 minutes for the main course. Not all dishes were brought at the same time. The lasagne was, at best, from the day before and not edible. The risotto was okay, but definitely not worth the price. The service was friendly, but it would have been even more customer-friendly not to charge for a dish that wasn't eaten because it didn't taste good (the lasagna). All in all: No recommendation, we definitely won't be coming back. The price is almost decadent for the quality on offer.

The pizza is decent but highly priced, the rest of the food that came out and also my partner's food was pretty horrible. Tasteless and small portion for a high price. Smoking allowed in the eating area outside. Complaints to the staff brushed off and not taken seriously. Save your money and eat elsewhere in Lucerne. The nearby hotel Waldstatterhoff has excellent food and service.

We booked risotto cooking as a team event and our expectations were clearly exceeded!!! There was an aperitif with or without alcoholic drinks beforehand; you could cook with us or just watch. The guide explained everything very well and in the end the food and the atmosphere simply couldn't be topped. The rooftop view of all of Lucerne was breathtaking and made the meal even better! Whether as a team event or a private event, we recommend it to everyone!

We had a pizza and a couple of quick beers, the place is very close to the station and we had little time, a shame because the tables in the park are very cozy and the family atmosphere is very pleasant, for us Spaniards who are not used to it, If you share a plate they charge you a service fee, in our case 9 CHF. Cristina served us very friendly and decisive, speaking some Spanish with Italian touches, thank you for the speed of the service.

Needing to find a place for an early - and gluten free - dinner, the staff in the from and back of the house went out of thier way to accommodate a tired family and their celiac challenged daughter. Antonio and team took outstanding care of us, and food - especially the risottos and the pizzas - was exceptional . Highly recommend .

It's hard to believe how many guests are fed (probably eaten 😑) in one lunchtime at Bellini. You sit in a cramped space and smell your neighbor's lasagne quite well. Almost a bit too cramped for a business lunch with customers. Regardless: top service and (still) good quality of the food. Feel free to try the ambience on a (romantic) evening 🥰

An excellent Italian restaurant with warm hospitality. We were looked after so touchingly and had first-class food with great wines. I can still taste the pasta with giant prawns and the selection of the finest cheeses today. My companions were also enthusiastic about their starters and main courses. We also really liked the ambience and the way the menu was designed. Overall, a very, very well-run restaurant where you can't go wrong. It was an honor to have been guests here. Thank you very much, we will definitely see each other again!

I would give 5 points for the food. But unfortunately 0 points for the organization overall. We were there on a Saturday evening with a group of 12 people and made a reservation by phone 2 weeks in advance. Despite the correct confirmation SMS and control call 2 days before: we were standing there and there was NO reservation. Fortunately, a table with 12 people was only reserved at the time we were supposed to sit in the KKL (7:30 p.m.) and we were able to take over this table. And yet we didn't get the main course until 7:00 p.m. after asking for the bill. The waiter's cheeky answer: "At least you already got an appetizer." Kind. We had to eat the very tasty food within a few minutes so that we could leave on time. Mind you, we had been in the restaurant since 5:15 p.m., which was more or less empty at the time... What a shame! Especially because the food was really excellent!

The store seems to have the habit of giving appetizers (a piece of chicken and a small cup of mushroom soup). The chef recommended the pork chop, which seemed to be well-cooked and delicious.

Another example of "the showdown" of the Swiss Gastronomie. High prices, very poor service, not even bread is served unless you ask for it. From an outstanding wine list, you order a top wine and request to decant it...no further comments.

Very nice restaurant, very friendly service. The food is not recommended. The lasagne was still frozen on the inside (which shouldn't happen at such a price). The risotto was too salty. In my opinion, complaint handling was not enough. It's not enough to reheat the food.

The quality of the food is very good. The service is friendly. Unfortunately, price-performance is generally a bad thing in Switzerland. Visiting again with quite an aha experience. I have to correct the operation. The order has been taken. I didn't want the gnocchi with the pork bratwurst but with the gemsprat sausage from another menu. The waiter said no, but after some pressure she went to the kitchen. Such changes are usually never a problem. He came back and explained that it didn't work because it was "pre-convectioned". In plain English, if you think you're getting freshly prepared food, you're wrong. The fact that after the clarification he had to take the entire order again because he had forgotten it was the final straw.

The food was OK at best. For 12.- you got a “generous” portion of fries (starter), which we all found embarrassing. Couldn't even cover the bottom of the plate. Service and atmosphere pleasant. Waiters very nice and attentive. Price performance OK. But we were pretty disappointed with the food. Lasagna Bolongnese: nothing was really fresh and prepared with love. Minced meat cooked to death, far dry, bechamele sauce was more of a ready-made cream and the tomato sauce tasted of nothing, was almost watery and probably from the wholesaler. And you can argue about the portion size, for me it's not enough, the size is equivalent to a Rubik's cube... All in all very surprised and surprised at the poor quality of the food.

I would highly recommend this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and every dish is cooked to perfection. The staff is also incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very serene and comfortable. I especially recommend their signature dishes, they are truly amazing! If you're looking for a great place to eat, this restaurant should definitely be on your list!

Not Ticino cuisine lasagna small portion no taste gnocchi ditto risotto good but still quite tasteless. Service having had to insist on the menu, orders etc. note there were 6 of us with 3 from Ticino...

I was there this past Saturday. Maybe they were just to busy but nothing of our groups main dishes were exceptional. We ordered the dried beef and cheese as starter. That was very good. Then the main courses…. Kids ordered pizza…. So la la. I wanted the beef ragout. Sold out! So I chose the entrecôte with risotto. But the waiter forgot to order it. The other 4 guests were nearly finished. I called the waiter over, he apologized. Accidents happen. Then after waiting , I asked again just to cancel my plate. I had no desire to eat when everyone was finished. But the waiter refused and brought it. I couldn’t eat at this point. The risotto tasted like saffron water. No salt or cheese. Just watery rice. The waiter made no comment when he collected only half eaten dishes. Oh well. Disappointing.

Great food in a quiet an pleasant ambiente

The staffs here are super nice and friendly. We had a great lunch with good food. Would highly recommend this place. I particularly loved their ice cream which I believe they made it themselves.

Pleasant atmosphere with very friendly service (Antonio!). Also recommended with children! The cuisine is excellent, the venison entrecote with polenta was extremely delicious. We will definitely come again when we are in Lucerne.

Enjoyed Christmas dinner at Bellini. The food was incredible. The staff, hands down fantastic. The piano player, he made the night. This is a definite must go to when in Lucerne.

We ate Ticino polenta and venison for lunch today and it was super exceptional. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Very kind staff and they even spoke Italian. Ottino!

Service ok, fish was undercooked and risotto was sticky, salad was soggy, antipasti had no taste. A pity...

The positive first: the food, venison entrecôte with polenta, was excellent! Perfectly cooked, very tender and an outstanding sauce! The service was okay, the waiter could have been a little more competent in advising on the wine. He simply wanted to sell his wine instead of engaging with the guest. The prices are in the upper range. A little too high for the starters.

We ordered Lasagne and Risotto. The Lasagne are suggested as the home specialty and they were over cooked and too much covered by concentrated tomato sauce. Risotto was good quality (carnaroli) but the saffron taste was very light. Also we had to wait for 35-40 minutes to get the meals, a bit too long.

We went there to get some desert for our wedding anniversary. Their Gelato’s are awesome and must try. Staff is very cheerful and welcoming.

Gnocci arrived very late after ordering, a bit burnt and in a small portion. Luckily there was still bread, otherwise you wouldn't get enough.

Great service. Our son (10 years old) was treated like a king. The food was great. And our server was phenomenal!!! Highly recommend it.

Before catching my flight back to Singapore. Had early dinner with my good friend from Venezuela living in Switzerland and my daughter studying in Swiss boarding school. Waiter was friendly but raciest. He kept introducing us cheap selection of food from the menu assuming we can’t afford the price. No water was served until we ask him so while other table was served automatically. My daughter ordered spinach gnocchi from the menu but waiter suggested to order from the kids menu on a different card because it is cheaper but we ignored his suggestions. I am a professional chef as a profession but that spinach gnocchi was the worse I have seen and tasted but the rest of the food was great.

A dinner at Bellini is regularly a must, now game is the order of the day and last night was a treat for body and soul! From Prosecco to a nightcap, excellent service from Massimo and Co, accompanied by live music! The Leuppi family sends a big thank you

Friends recommended this "beautiful" place and we decided to go on Friday. I'll tell you right away that this restaurant left just terrible impressions!!! Waiters are not suitable for accepting the order for a very long time, I just wanted to get up and start screaming so that they could already approach us, the service is very slow!!! And it's all very expensive! As a result, at first they brought not what we ordered, then sat and waited for our dishes. As a result, one dish was without salt at all, the second was too spicy, lemonades are all sour! In general, I never advise anyone to come to this place! Good luck to everyone!

The food was good, but like most restaurants in Switzerland the prices are high, also considering that the service was not up to par, the first courses arrived while we were still eating the starters, and that in practice we were eating in the square in front of the restaurant where they had set up some tables (the seats were more like those of a pizzeria), no we are not there. I repeat the food is good, but the rest leaves a lot to be desired considering what we paid.

My husband's birthday dinner. First we had to sit outside even though we had ordered inside. After the aperitif, a birthday table was set inside especially for us. A young, motivated waiter served us. Food was very good. The birthday guest received a dessert plate for all 4 people. Thank you very much after initial skepticism, you did everything right. Risotto at Bellini (at lunch) was a difficult experience. First risotto that was ordered was a big lump of cheese (sent back) since it was just cooked at too hogh temps also the ordered Sausage was forgotten. The second risotto was better but still clumpy. also it’s split. The susage was very tasty thought. Unfortunately I will never ever order a risotto here again and i dont advise it either.

Two microspoon full of icecream - not even the requested flavours - for SFr 12 - too be avoided in the future, what a ripp-off.

There were 12 of us and we made a reservation. When I arrived at the restaurant to register, I went to the first employee who met me almost at the entrance. For me, “abpasste” is a suitable expression here because I told her that I had reserved for 12 people, whereupon the somewhat annoyed and stressed employee simply replied; “We have closed society today. You have to report over there/outside.” That already left the first bad aftertaste. So I went to a service employee from outside, who showed us the reserved place, so far so good. Since a colleague and I needed something from the train station, we went briefly to the train station (2-4 minutes away). When we returned, we were informed by our colleagues that we had to order quickly because the service staff said that otherwise there would only be lasagne would give. I repeat, there were 12 of us who all wanted to eat, I don't think something like that is economical, but that's fine. So we rushed to order, which unfortunately doesn't help if the food takes a long time to arrive... approx. 15-20min. later we received the starters. Now one of the two pepper mills was missing pepper and I informed the service employee about this and asked them to bring us a full mill straight away. He shook the mill and wanted to check my statement, which I personally find disrespectful, but at least he brought a refilled mill afterwards. Unfortunately, the mill was cleared away again by some service employee without us noticing... so I had to get up again and organize 2 mills myself... Now it was time for the main course, I ordered the “Filet da manz “Bellini””, which includes a beef fillet and a truffle risotto, unfortunately there was no mention of diced tomatoes on the menu and yet I had them in my risotto. However, it seemed as if this ingredient had to be used up that evening, as not only I was given these tomato cubes, but also everyone else who, for example, had the “Tagliatelle fai in cà cun porcini, tarfüffo e spinaz” ordered, but there was probably no more spinach because my colleague had ordered the “Lasagna verd “Bellini” – la specialità da cà!” and looked for it in vain. I ordered my beef fillet "medium" and received a "blue" - "rare" when we asked Ms. Ruschka about it, she replied in a less friendly tone that it was "medium", after a bit of discussion I was given about 15 minutes. Later a new piece was served, unfortunately again “blue” - “rare”, which was just a shame about the actually very good meat. This point (hence 2 points) is important to me to emphasize here, the meat (if prepared correctly and as ordered by the guest) would have been really very good, I have had completely different fillets. The colleague's lasagna was also not edible apart from the lack of spinach, the tomato sauce was extremely sweet, the risotto was actually good except for the culinary surprise regarding tomatoes. I would like employees like Ms. Ruschka to be trained correctly and not every guest has to deal with her. I worked in retail and yes, customers are stressful, unfortunately it's not the customer's problem but the employee's problem. If that's too much for you, there are also jobs without customer contact, that's something everyone who works in such a job should keep in mind and perhaps before it gets to the point where you contradict customers, it's not for nothing that they say: "the customer is king" but that was by no means the case at Bellini. Unfortunately, the evening was very disappointing in relation to dinner at Bellini and wasn't worth the money for me, I don't think I'll give the restaurant another chance.

Great service, bad cuisine. My risotto was like a soup with almost no salt in it. My husband's lasagne tasted strongly of tomato's (not your classical Bolognese). Another critical point is that they do not have a wine card.

Excellent food, forgettable service. Never seen a more rude and incompetent waiter than Aco, never mind that he poured wine even for those who didn't want it or that he made us get up to pay separately at the cash register, but that he takes away the plate from those who are still eating or that he increases the I count because "I haven't tipped yet" is simply out of this world!
