The restaurant and food looked nice, but the service was unfriendly and they said it was full despite there still being free tables.

Local, seasonal and vegetarian cuisine. It's been several years since I've been back and it's always a delight! I need to come back more often.

Always a pleasure to eat in this restaurant in the heart of Geneva, where the food (mostly vegetarian) never disappoints and the magnificent and warm setting makes me have an excellent evening every time. We took 5 starters to share with 3 which were all delicious (special mention to the 5-spice squash with cashew cream and morels), then the vegan burger with spiced potatoes. Also worth noting are the cocktails which are original and very good as well as the top-notch service!

It’s a very busy place in a very centric location. Some of the food was great and some was ok. Very happy to have found vegan options!

Always a pleasure to taste its vegetarian dishes with original flavors. The passion fruit coulis fondant is truly delicious. Very pleasant staff.

A real pleasure to come back for lunch at Grütli where the welcome is always so pleasant and smiling. The proposed menu made it possible to skillfully satisfy all the guests around our table in the same place. Whether they are vegan, vegetarian or other. The products are fresh, local and prepared on site... homemade. In short, a rare place, as we would like to find more often.

A midday meal with friends. Discovering the menu, we all really liked it. Beautiful atmosphere without agitation or disturbing noises. Smile and kindness, here we take care of you at a moderate price.

Most of the dishes we tasted in December 23 went into "tapas" mode and that's a shame. Small plates, more pretty decorations of edible flowers, the presentation is quite basic. The price is affected (between 12 and 14 chf per small plate), especially since with just one plate, you are not satisfied. So the bill increases (like inflation, but not wages...). In short, the managers have understood everything! The staff remains very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere relaxed, at least that much.

New management for a year. The cuisine remains subtle and delicate in a pleasant setting with a slightly confusing but nevertheless friendly service. As long as there is a good film programmed at the adjacent cinema and Nirvana opens its doors to us. Very questionable decoration on the choice of paints…. Damage.

A somewhat remote place, but when you are there you are very well received and everything is very good.

Where have the smiles gone? Where has the attentive welcome gone? And let's not talk about the panko oyster mushrooms which were so inedible as they were bathed in oil.

Very cool restaurant with a young and very friendly team. The menu is not gigantic, but will satisfy everyone, with original dishes and generous quantities. A real taste surprise. In addition, the terrace is super quiet and nicely arranged. A nice discovery and I will come back with pleasure

What a discovery! As someone who is more of a meat person, I had a hard time choosing a vegan dish (there is still a chicken dish on the menu), so I set my sights on the vegan burger and I must say that I I was very pleasantly surprised, it was simply delicious, I'm still salivating!!! The waiters are very friendly and the terrace is rather large. In short, great restaurant, I will definitely come back!! Thanks to the whole team !

A short, mostly vegetarian menu with options for non-vegetarians. A great discovery, I enjoyed their green lentil Kibbeh ☺️ and their matcha panna cotta 😍. I will go back to try the rest of the menu. A big plus was that we were able to take away what we hadn't managed to finish in a "doggy bag".

Good food. On the other hand, the tables are small and too close together. Feeling crowded and no privacy.

During our last visit to your place, we had a Caesar salad. A funny surprise. I have never seen a salad like this: on a large slice of bread pieces of chicken coated in a thick sauce.. a taste of sauce for a vitello tonnato??? Hard to say... A Caesar salad is supposed to be a light dish. It was heavy there. Damage. Jacqueline

We go there from time to time because The vegan dishes are really good and sought after although the Prices are still high... Yesterday evening, I noticed that the carafe of water was charged 1.- even though we had drinks and I did not see any mention on the menu on this subject. Note that on the site there is a photo with a tap container with water and citrus fruits and that it says help yourself… On the other hand, the waitress asked me if I left the Amount to pay (by card) as is or implied I Tip. I found this unpleasant. If I had paid cash, would I have been asked if I didn’t round the amount?… The service needs to be reviewed (reception and payment).

Very pleasant terrace in the center for this place which oozes culture and the “institutionalized alternative” atmosphere, a bit bohemian but really nice. Vegan, vegetarian or carnivore, everyone is welcome. Here, no sect of one kind or another, but just the pleasure of conviviality. And what's more, we eat well there!

They are relatively overwhelmed by their success in terms of service (forgetting, delays) but that in no way detracts from the quality of the food and the ideal Genevan atmosphere before an evening at the theater for example. Superb terrace, extraordinary rosé.

An excellent restaurant with a cinema with a superb terrace in summer, the staff and the food is superb and vegan friendly. A little expensive locally but being able to take away cheaper doesn't make me take away a star :)

The place has potential. The prices are a bit high and the service is slow and not up to standard. You don't improvise as a sommelier, it's a profession. It's not enough to have an extraordinary decor and location to believe that you can do what you want. It is the customers who drive the business, not the other way around. I didn't feel welcomed...

First experience. I now regret not having eaten there more often

Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere in a restaurant full of charm. The fondue is good and plentiful as well as the cold meats (if you take the menu!!!)… I recommend without hesitation!!!

The waiter followed us after we had paid in euros telling us that we have to pay more because the receipt stated the cost in chf and that the euro chf exchange rate was 0.9 which is not valid at that time. 29/03/23 exchange rate 1.016. He ripped us off by 15 euros. Very disappointed.

We had a great time over a coffee and will come back soon to try the varied and local menu. The waiters/waitresses are real personalities who add color to the place.

The place has a certain charm, and the tea tasted there had very good aromas. However, because unfortunately yes, there is a but, the staff were anything but friendly. Too bad because the place has a lot of potential but it greatly taints the experience.

Good welcome, good service, very well located for meetings before or after a concert. We eat well there too.

Bar restaurant very popular with culture lovers..one of the points of convergence of Geneva culture.. You can taste several varieties of dishes, all composed with regional products, the drinks are also from the region and most of what makes up the menu is also organic. So if you go to the cinema or the Grutli theater stop by to have a drink or enjoy a good dish!!😁 See you soon!!😁

I have been going there since 2004. Excellent address in Geneva. Our "canteen" when my wife worked across the street in the banking district. Vegan, vegetarian, local and seasonal as it should be today...but they have been there for 20 years. Nice place, good atmosphere.

Came here to eat with my friends and had a mixed experience. Cute vibe in the restaurant but the fish I ordered wasn’t very well seasoned and the ratatouille it came with was a small amount of ratatouille stuffed into a large undercooked tomato. For 36 francs I’d hoped for something tastier. Ordered the chocolate fondant for dessert (13 francs and no price on the menu or provided by the server). It was tiny especially for the price and the outside was rubbery. When I went to pay I discovered they’d charged me 1 francs for the tap water I’d asked for “for the climate”, but theres nothing on the menu I could see which indicates where this money goes and frankly I’d have appreciated being able to opt out or being told I’d be charged. Would find a different place for a meal next time I’m in geneva.

The trendy place in the center of Geneva with very original dishes at reasonable prices. Eclectic, slightly bohemian atmosphere with nice music and very friendly employees.

A first for me, I was told that the food was very good but unfortunately I had a bad experience, although the setting and the service were very nice. It was my birthday and I ordered the Crispy Smoked Tofu from here recommended by the waitress. I didn't like the taste at all although I love everything smoked, I didn't know that the tofu was wrapped on both sides with nori sheets. It was accompanied by zucchini which had no taste and the tomatoes were not candied, the potatoes on the other hand were good. I didn't even eat a third of my plate, which never happens to me. My companion had the vegan burger and he didn't like it very much either. We shared a hummus which was super bland as a starter. I have never left a restaurant so quickly yet I would like to come back because there must be other good options.

Nice restaurant at the heart of Geneva, by the Maison des Arts built 1873 (a multi expo place), for cinema, theater, workshop etc, but environnement has too many buildings to it. We were seated at their joyful terasse. Cuisine is excellent, many vegan/vegetarian options, service outstanding, prices on the high side.

The establishment is well located and the terrace is pleasant, particularly if you are lucky enough to be at bench level. The dishes are well presented and quite refined. The welcome is good, the waitresses give relevant advice. We recommend.

Disastrous service over an hour before receiving an order of three drinks...which we had to ask for twice because the order "had been cancelled" according to the waitress but yet after an hour she came back with the duplicate order . Staff on her cell phone while people are calling to order and she doesn't answer/see.

Tables reserved for the evening meal, but the staff found us a table for a drink, a very pleasant place and responsive staff well done

We did a tea and chocolate tasting there, it was a wonderful experience in a great place. We will come back soon to try the bar/restaurant because we felt really good there!

Really nice terrace, Rude ineffective staff who are not welcoming, question everything and joke about allergies… Ordered a drink and after 20 mins waiting and asking several times where it was was told they had ran out. Food bland and tasteless they just add flowers and sprouts to look pretty. Terrible homemade bread which honestly is offensive to serve.

decent food. quite overpriced price. DEPLORABLE SERVICE. the waiters are loud (no other words possible) from start to finish. you call them, wave to them, no one looks at you. finally you have to get up to order. I have never seen and experienced this in any other restaurant. in the end you leave and no one notices. Not a thank you. not even a sign. DEPLORABLE. and supposedly a restaurant that highlights regional products. not even sure....

A special place to eat in Geneva. Many university employees eat lunch there. There are three new dishes to choose from every day. There is also always a salad or soup with it. The decoration in the restaurant is funny and creative.

Very mixed about this restaurant. Very lukewarm dishes, half a bok choy and barely more chicken with apples. Nice overhead presentation of the salad which however gives the illusion of quantities. The tastes are tasty. The service is average. The place is pleasant.

A rare gem that was recommended to us by a local friend. They are super busy with a young and creative crowd, and have a small choice of dishes that are impeccably prepared. We had a fish dish that was so good that I still remember all the flavors. A huge recommendation for a bit of a hidden place.
