Inda-Bar in Genève

I live and work in Eaux-Vives so come here a lot and a couple of things on the menu that never disappoint (looking at you cheese naan) but the last few times Ive been here, the service has been shockingly bad. Long wait times for food, multiple requests for drinks and water forgotten and sometimes outright rudeness (was there yesterday and asked my server if I could change my drink order before it came and she rolled her eyes and then basically didnt come back to the table for 20 minutes.)

Went there yesterday. Very nice ambiance and food is also tasty (not authentic indian but fusion) However we wait more than 45 mins to get the main courses (maybe there was an internal problem?) but even asking 2-3 times about the situation, there was no clear answer. Should definitely give a try when in Geneva

Great restaurant, the concept is great!!!. I was surprised to see Morad again, a nostalgia for the Reserve invaded me ;) bravo to him 👏. In short, excellent, two or three small details in the service, like some forgetfulness or delays but the atmosphere is cool, the cocktails are great so we can only be tolerant. Despite the crowds and the stress that the waiters have, they remain courteous, polite and smiling and ensure that your moment goes wonderfully. A must-see address!

A great clean restaurant, fast and pleasant, really delicious

Wonderful ambient dinner at Inda-Bar (and yes, I keep hearing Zindabad in my head instead). Vegetarian options are solid, with a chaat-spiced daal makhani and a kadhai paneer with hints of feta. The cheese Naan has a Swiss accent to it with the cheese flavours which is really nice, and complements the daal well.

Not good, not enough and too expensive.

The food is very delicious and some dishes are a fusion. The staff is very friendly and energetic. The atmosphere is very warm. A great dinner option!

I discovered this restaurant yesterday and we had an excellent evening, everything was perfect. The refined cuisine, the servers all so nice and smiling, the atmosphere! We'll come back for sure! An enriching and new experience for our taste palates. The service was more than adequate. It’s simple, I haven’t seen a server without a smile! . The waitress introduced us to various starters and dishes from the menu. We feasted ! However, a little disappointment not to have seen the “chocolate soufflé” on the menu…

Inda-Bar, Geneva: a good time, but not for authentic Indian cuisine I had the opportunity to try the Inda-Bar restaurant in Geneva, and I have a mixed impression of it. The setting is very nice and contemporary, with a DJ atmosphere and good music. The service is average, as in any atmospheric restaurant. The servers are friendly, but a little rushed. The food is good and well presented. It is Indian cuisine revisited, with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The dishes are original and tasty. However, if you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine, it is better to change restaurants. The dishes are not really representative of traditional Indian cuisine. Inda-Bar is a good place to have a good time with friends. The cuisine is original and tasty, and the atmosphere is festive. However, this is not a restaurant for fans of authentic Indian cuisine.

Superb restaurant ideally located in Geneva, a warm welcome, exceptional service and an extraordinary symphony of colors and flavors on the plates. We will come back without hesitation (ah, you have to save room for dessert because the mille-feuille is really worth the detour)

For me it is simply the most delicious and finest Indian food in the region. The service is great, the deco is really cute. Only the tiny terrasse is a shame, but this is the same issue for all restaurants in that street.

Avoid this place. To start the cocktail of the day was a margarita with 3 mounds of spices that taste awful at every sip. The salmon flavor was inedible and as soon as we said we couldn’t eat it they just said ok and walked away. Terrible customer service. They don’t care if you’re unhappy or, if their food taste terrible. On top of it all it’s expensive. Spend your money anywhere else

We had a great time with friends on a Saturday evening. The service was excellent, the concept was well explained and we chose to give them a free choice of dishes to share. They didn't go overboard with the quantities, which we greatly appreciated. All the dishes were delicious, as was the wine. We'll be back

Very negative experience, totally not recommended. I came with my wife and we had a bad experience. The only positive thing was the starter, initially I ordered a cocktail which was on the menu but I regretted it after the first sip as it only smelled of alcohol. To follow we ordered a simple gin and tonic, among which we also had to pay for the tonic separately because we never received a bottle of the latter at the table, we were served super hot water at the price of 5 francs per bottle, the dish between one dish and the other has not been changed, the quality is super insufficient for the price, a shame because the cuisine is not bad at all.

Unfortunately I have to change my last review, i went again and knowing the food is not spicy we ordered a curry and asked if it was possible to make it spicy because INDIAN FOOD IS SPICY, and they said yes, but we were charged at the end 7 CHF extra for a not even spicy sauce. This felt a bit abusive :/ because we weren’t warned of the extra cost beforehand.

I highly recommend this place. The establishment offers quality Indian cuisine with perfect mastery. Well done ! And as a point of honor an absolutely incredible and complete wine list. A level rarely reached for a Swiss restaurant (La Bourgogne en AVANT). Looking forward to it

Nice place and super cool ambiance but...... Food underwhelming.... curry was not remarkable, taste was tangy bitter. I've cooked better. A bit over priced for the quality and creative flair.... not remarkable and after a week I almost forgot where I ate. Last memory was that staff were too efficient...picking up plates directly after the last bite and offering the next thing. I don't like that. Also I didn't feel a warmth from the staff... more like a snooty high air. Cocktails were great!! Advice.... take a leaf out of book of Amaya, London which I had recently..that was a remarkable Indian fusion!

Really lovely Indian Fusion - they worked to accommodate our large party and the food was delicious! Ask for an assortment of things and each item was good- mind still blown by the kale and mango salad!

The waiter started by saying as it was our first time he would bring a starter for us and we could choose between 2 options, which gave us the idea was an offer from the house, but in the end we had tompay. It was rice and fish, which didn't smell fresh at all. Naan with Lamb is like something you get in a kebab shop, didn't look or taste nice. Waiter was pushing us to order rahita too and we had to make clear we didn't want it. Butter chicken sauce tasted very like vinegar. Cocktails were good.

Very tasty food. The restaurant has a great selection of wine with multiple excellent small wineries. The stuff is very friendly, I visited the place for second time and Its already in my list of must-visit-places when I travel to Geneva.

Magnificent address. Excellent food, with delicious dishes from Indian cuisine but also from elsewhere. Fabulous cellar and choice of wines, particularly Burgundy. The boss's knowledge in this area is abysmal...!

The food is Indian fusion, it was quite tasty and nice. They also have a spicy sauce that you can take with the food, which is quite amazing. Would definitely recommend the cauliflower tandoori dish.

Upscale Indian. The Indian food tastes good, but is rather expensive and often not purely Indian, but rather modern fusion. The service was courteous and there were several service staff. The ambience is upscale and there is a large selection of wine. A good choice for dates but not an authentic Indian restaurant for me.

Went to Inda-bar today and it was a horrible experience. It the food took forever and it didn’t come at the same time so some of the food got cold and needed to be heated up. They blamed it on the kitchen being busy, but if you are a restaurant and you take reservations you should also consider being able to deliver food on the table during peak hours. Also when eating the naan we found a hair strand inside which was just disgusting and they took the wrong order. And worst of all, they were not even apologetic, we were offered some items for free but the customer service and attitude was horrible. I do not recommend this place.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Geneva, in any case my favorite! The menu, the cocktails, the atmosphere or the service... you will love it ;) ... and for real wine lovers, go there with your eyes closed, the owner is passionate! Ps: Remember to book!

Food was a 3/5, value a 1/5 Vibes were pretty good but food lacked flavor / spice and the naan was extremely flavorless. A pretty offensive adaptation of Indian food. Drinks were decent and good location for going elsewhere in the night.

This restaurant is a gem. A cozy and unique atmosphere that feels like you’re in another country. High quality food that you will never have eaten before. Also with a beautiful wine list offering many exceptional wines. A friendly and efficient service. And to top it all off, I enjoyed dishes made with ingredients I don’t like. The restaurant is so beautiful, the interior is very well renovated, very good quality food. price in Switzerland so quite expensive. the service is good, the waiters are in a good mood and it's always a pleasure, even if they could perhaps suggest the dishes a little more, also give their personal opinion but it remains of quality.

We went for dinner today at 7.30 pm. The restaurant became bigger as they took over the old kasbar restaurant and the ambience was nice. The food was average and the quality was not as good as it used to be before. The worst thing is the service. They take so long to take the order and the team is not well organized (just 1 person for 5 tables and the person was so messy)! I still cannot believe the waiter asked us to keep the main dish cutleries for the dessert as he did not want bring new ones! However, there was a nice Moroccan employee who was kind enough to offer us a nice dessert as we were not really happy with the food and service (and he did not make us pay for one of the dishes that was extremely cold almost frozen). Not sure I will be back and I would not really recommend it. Also something was really annoying, the restaurant is small and there is no place to take your jackets. You basically have to put it on the couch where there is already no space.

Exceptional cuisine and top service

Very pleasant restaurant and welcome, A beautiful menu of dishes and a surprising presentation, fresh products. Located on a fairly quiet street. A very good atmosphere, good music and a clean restaurant.

The food is good: the Truffle Naan and Dorade ceviche, a real tasting experience but my friend did not like the palak paneer which was more like a soup. The cocktails were nice but over priced and ill-conceived ( mine had cinnamon on top of the ice which went all over my face each time I took a sip!). The service was poor: he forgot 1 starter and 1 main and could have been more polite. However we were kindly offered a bottle of champagne for the errors.

Delicious Indian food served in a high end restaurant

Food great, sometimes the service was a bit strange, like while ordering he just walked away, but otherwise good. Ambience great, music a bit too loud after 9pm, it's a restaurant not a club, right?;⁠-⁠)

Overall nice experience, food was nice, the butter chicken was excellent, the rest of the food a little too spicy, although I specifically asked the server about level of spicyness and he said that what we were ordering "was not spicy at all", location is a bit "hidden" , would have liked to be served by someone who knew the menu better, good experience, but not "amazing"

Subtle cocktails, attentive and efficient service, delicious cuisine and dishes that are as beautiful as they are good! A huge favorite for our impromptu visit last night to Inda-Bar… Lately leaving an exhibition, they found us a place on the terrace in the middle of the service boom with a smile and relaxation, they pushed the tables and we weren't answered “the kitchen is closed, a great Geneva classic after 9:30 p.m. ;-). There were 4 of us and we had lots of dishes to share, it was fabulous! The Chicken Tikka is ultra tender, the Marinated Salmon is super tasty and the little flowers on the dishes and cocktails perfected this moment! To do again as soon as possible!

Wonderful discovery for us this Saturday! We were won over by the welcome, it's very rare to feel that our presence is so appreciated, the whole team is attentive and attentive.
